I really wanted to like this repair shop. Over the years I've used them for several of my vehicles. They are nearby, the staff is helpful and friendly (not a stretch, really) but my last two husband's didn't trust their work and often after service the vehicle had additional problems that weren't evident before. Also, they are one of the higher priced auto shops. I took my Sonata in to have the timing belt changed and it came out with a bad vibration. I took the car back twice and even drove it with a technician who said he didn't detect a vibration. IT WAS HORRIBLE, and still is. It makes me hate this car that I once loved. Also there is a loud noise coming from underneath that now I have to go to someone else to diagnose. We're moving out of state so I won't be back. But I wouldn't ever go back even if we stayed in the state. Sorry I just don't think Evergreen Autoworks is all they're cracked up to be. read more

They handled all the paperwork with my insurance company & assisted me getting a rental car. I made an appointment a week and 1/2 in advance, dropped off my car at 7:30am, then heard nothing until I called them at 3:45pm when they told me that my car had not yet been looked at. Not sure why I made the appointment so far in advance and dropped my car off first thing in the morning and yet I was somehow in the back of the line for getting my car worked on? When they did look at the car (at a price of $120 just for an estimate) and gave me a quote it was more than twice as expensive as the quote I got at another shop. I do not recommend this shop due to their lack of individual attention and their cost. read more

My estimator told me specifically that he would only install OEM parts. My car was involved in a not at fault accident so the other insurance company was paying for it. He told me that if they ordered aftermarket parts. He would say they wouldn't fit correctly and then reorder OEM parts. He also told me that the part in question, my driver front fender, was not repairable. He then went on vacation for a week and another estimator took over my claim. When my car was done, he told me that they returned the aftermarket part as promised but instead of ordering a new OEM part, they "rolled" out my fender, the same fender that wasn't repairable! They never called to ask me if that was ok! He stated "it was the best thing for my car". Sure, a rolled out fender is always better than an OEM part?!?! They also replaced the driver headlight and lens assembly and didn't think of replacing the bulb in the passenger light. When I got my car back, I noticed that the driver light was brighter than the passenger light. When I asked he said we'll just replace it when they both go out. Ok? Bulbs last like 5,000 hours, so I guess I'll worry about the uneven headlights in 3-4 years.....Also, an alignment was paid for by the other insurance. I made an appointment, took time off work, waited in the lobby and about 3 blocks away I realized the car would pull to the left when the steering wheel was straight. So I called and rescheduled another alignment, took more time off work, waited in lobby again and they finally got it right. In conclusion, I just wish they had treated my car like their own. There's no way they would've rolled out their personal cars unrepairable fender but yet they thought that was acceptable to do to my car. So in my mind I'm driving around with a rolled out, unrepairable fender due to a not at fault accident. Overall the staff at Evergreen is friendly and helpful but the communicate between estimators needs to be improved as well as the training to allow both estimators to look at the same part and know if it's repairable or not. Maybe a simple note or post-it in my claim file would've helped. Who knows. Most of their reviews are good, maybe I just had bad luck, but if this review helps them communicate better and helps them recognize repairable parts versus unrepairable parts then that just helps out the next customer. Update: I went back because a bumper strap was loose so the bumper was slightly pulling away from the fender. They fixed that strap and replaced the passenger bulb at no charge. read more

My family has been taking our cars here for years...but not anymore. My sister already stopped using them because they were doing shady things with her car. I wish I knew this before I took my car there to fix my alternator is September. First they quoted me even morn than the Ford dealership! Then when I told the guy what there quote was...he said he could do it at that price. They said that I had to get a new battery to guarantee my alternator. Even though my battery was working- I said fine and they replaced that and one other thing. I ended up spending about $900 total to fix this and 6 months later it's not working again! So I'm stuck paying for this same damn thing. Oh and guess who is not open today for me to ask about this? And my car is nowhere near their shop...so thanks for taking my money and not fixing the issue. read more

Charged me 200 just to look at the car and make a diagnosis. Took almost 2 days. I called multiple times for updates with no response. When they finally did call back they quoted me 1600 for the work on top of the 200. I declined the work picked up my car and took it somewhere else. The other shop make a completely different diagnosis and I was out the door 500 total all in 1 day.Total scam artists. I want my 200 refunded and I would like my rental car of 100 reimbursed. I doubt that will ever happen though. Stay away from this place. read more

I was in a collision while driving in my 2015 GTI. I got Evergreen Autoworks name from Volkswagen America is a recommended. I called and made an appointment with Nicole and brought the car down to Evergreen or works, Nicole was friendly and went over the process with us. When discussing the damage with Nicole I stressed to her that I felt like there was something wrong underneath the car because it was not driving correctly and that it was making noises, making weird jerks on the freeway, the steering wheel was turned out of place and I felt that it was important to look at those things before repairing the vehicle because that was the first spot the car was hit during the impact. She then had us sign some paperwork, and then we were taken over to enterprise to be put into our rental car. We didn't hear anything back on the car for about four weeks, and at that point it was just that it wasn't done yet, about a week later we were told that there was an issue with the strut and the front end was not lining up correctly so they would be ordering the strut putting that in and trying to get it aligned correctly. About a week later we got the phone call to come pick up the car, my wife went and picked it up and brought it home. The first thing she said to me was that the A pillar, which houses an airbag was not secured. It was not clipped in and is hanging about an inch and a half away from where it supposed to be. This is just the beginning, as I started inspecting the work my head started to boil. The spots where they took pieces of the interior apart were done so in crude manners, there are scrape marks from tools used to pry caps and panels off, Door panels the C pillar panel, there was still a small dent in the doorjamb, there is overspray, spots on the insides of the doors that didn't even get any paint, there was a greenish substance spread through throughout the car mainly in the shoe areas of the car, there is splatters of what appears to be white paint on the side of one of our seats one of our seats as a small tear in it where the threads are coming apart, The car is filled with auto body dust as it sat at their facility for over six weeks, the shifter decal is peeling off as if somebody with a harsh chemical on their finger drove the car at one point. Not one of the body parts that were replaced matched up, both doors have gaps in between each other, gaps to the corner panel and fender, and doors do not close all the way on the top. The right front fender has large gaps between the door and the hood. The hood, the headlights, the front bumper, the grill, and rain gutter just lay where is most comfortable I guess. There was so much shifting in the structural parts of the vehicle that nothing is lined up correctly, but it seemed OK to just slap parts on the vehicle and call it good. There are multiple in perfections in the paint, including hair, dust, water damage where water dripped on the WetPaint, there is a chip in the paint where the back bumper meets the rear quarter panel and they tried to cover it up by painting it with what appears to be white out. The blends are horrible, instead of bringing the paint in and passed the weather-seal so that the repair was hidden under the carpet, they decided to just mask off right in the middle of the doorjamb, and the two colors are not even close. And that isn't even including a few really bad runs, runs happen, I get it, but you need to take the time to wet sand them out and repair them. This car was given to us after it appeared to go to the community college autobody shop for the work to be done, and was never inspected. There is no way that our car should have came back to us in the condition that it is in. We have the headlight option on our GTI, that we paid $1000 extra for from the dealership, they were not damaged in the wreck, but were taken apart during their work and are now getting moisture in them, without looking too deeply into it just with Mayeye I can see clips that were not fully clipped in all the way to keep the moisture out. And now we get into the good stuff, I jacked it up and spent a good two hours waiting on my creeper looking at all of the damage, everything under that car has been shifted to the left The whole subframe is twisted and pushed, the engine is pushed over, the dog bone mount is twisted, The control arms, Ball joints, and tie rods appear to be in so much stress that I am going to have to rebuild my front end every 10 to 20,000 miles, and that's not including what's going to happen with my tires. While looking around underneath the vehicle it appears that there was a considerable amount of time spent working under the car to try to make the car drive straight, but I wasn't billed for that?? I'd rather kept the $11,000 and bought a car I felt safe in. I have no idea how that car made it out of there. I have zero faith in this company, there are WAY too many things wrong. This is a black eye on auto body. read more

These guys poured coolant into our oil during an oil change. When our engine light came on 2 weeks after our oil change it took them 5 days to conclude that we needed a new transmission. Luckily we took our car to Redmond European and they cleaned it out with dawn. When I talked with Jeff the owner he told me I couldn't "prove" it was their fault and he wouldn't reimburse me. It is a horribly run shop with a greedy short sided owner! They are insanely slow too. Buyer beware!! read more

My car started giving out alerts for low tire pressure & I'm not quite comfortable checking the tire pressures in gas station. Being new to this area I just drove into this garage near to place I stay & asked if they could check my car's tire pressure. The front desk lady called out for someone to look at my car. There came Phil, an energetic smiling faced guy asking how he could help me. Told him I don't know to check the tire pressure. He took car key & asked me to wait in reception while he fixes the pressure. I was intrigued by the mini museum they have set up in reception. Liked the collection they have. After about 5-7mins Phil was back with my car & all the tire pressure alerts gone. I asked if I had to pay & he said 'NO, you are good to go'. That was the best thing, without paying a dime got such an amazing service. They have got my trust & will definitely return if I need any auto work. read more

I couldn't be happier with the service here. I brought my fourteen year old car into them several months ago for diagnosis when the engine was running rough. They diagnosed it easily in a short time period, and the fee was very reasonable. They told me I had a bad valve cover gasket and a bad intake manifold gasket. When I told them I was going to try to take care of the repairs myself to save some money they were perfectly understanding and supportive and even gave me some pointers before I took my care back to my garage to work on it. Fast forward to today and I took it back into them because now my car isn't starting. I asked them to test the alternator/battery/starter which they did for a standard fee, but they all tested fine so that wasn't the problem. Paul told me they could try to diagnose the problem for a standard $130 fee. My car wasn't being cooperative (it started just fine for them every time), so they couldn't diagnose the problem. Paul waived the diagnosis fee since they couldn't figure it out even though I know the technician must have spent several hours fiddling with my car. Based on some common problems my kind of car has had, they're going to try replacing one part (again, at a very reasonable price) and we'll hope it works. Even if it doesn't, Paul let me know ahead of time that this might fix the problem, but it also might not and it was completely up to me if I even wanted to try. No pressure, he just gave me the facts and let me make the decision. All in all Evergreen has been very pleasant to deal with both times I've gone to them, as well as very fair with their pricing and honest with their findings! I will absolutely be coming back to them if and when I have car problems in the future. read more

I had a stripped bolt that was preventing me from changing a tail light bulb. I called to request an appointment to have it looked at. I figured it would have to be schedule for the next day or something. Phil told me to come right down and they would help me out. I arrived and Phil had already printed an estimate of only $11.36. Then, he told me that it would be no charge if they found that the bolt wasn't stripped and it was just a simple bulb replacement. The bolt turned out to be stripped. Evergreen did a decent enough job on the body work and paint and Manny was great. However, all of the quarters disappeared from the ash tray. They were kind enough to leave the pennies. This left a bad taste in my mouth and I don't know if I would ever go back. If you go to Evergreen, be sure to remove anything of value from your car! read more

I needed some auto body repair work because of a low speed collision with a distracted driver on I-405. The staff at Evergreen Auto Works were friendly and knowledgeable. They keep me informed on the repair process. They advocated on my behalf with the Insurance Company. Frankly they worked their back sides off to complete the job as quickly as possible and under the estimate. Everything from the initial estimate to delivery was spot on. I worked directly with the owner, something you don't see often these days. There are many places that do bodywork, none that will top Evergreen Auto Works. I have no regrets choosing Evergreen Auto Works and will use them again if ever needed. A side note that has nothing to do with the repair, the lobby is full of memorabilia, much it donated by customers. This mini museum is very cool. read more

Highly recommend Evergreen Autoworks to get your vehicle detailed. I took our 2006 Honda Odyssey there to be detailed before selling it. Phil and his team were very thorough in the explanation of the process and even the walk through when I picked it up. Being a 10 year old vehicle they couldn't get all of the scratches out or all of the stains in the carpets, but they made it look amazing. I took a Town car here to get the auto leveler fixed. They tried to repair it then concluded that a fixed suspension system was the way to go. This was not before a lot of time spent trying to get the air suspension system working. They did not charge us for that extra labor and now all is well with a non air suspension replacement system working. Thanks a lot ! read more

DISHONEST, BAIT AND SWITCH, RIP OFF, BEWARE If I could give a negative 5 stars I would... This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with a repair shop. my older car failed my emissions test and so I called around for a shop that had the proper analyzer to diagnose the cause of the test failure. Evergreen Auto Works told me they had the equipment and could diagnose it no problem. I took my car in and authorized the 150+tax/fees diagnosis and was called the next day to tell me not only did they have no idea why my car failed the test, but that the equipment they told me they had was "broken". Classic bait and switch. All they could tell me was my car needed at least 2-3 hours (at my cost) of diagnosis time. WHAT A JOKE. When I went to get my car I tried to discuss my concerns and for them to tell me what they did for my money and my words fell on deaf ears. I needed to be able to get an emissions waiver so I needed their signature, they had me over a barrel and had no intention of keeping me as a future customer or making me at least feel better about the situation. My 2007 Prius was damaged on the driver's side door when a huge semi truck and trailer swerved, struck road dividers on the bridge across the Snoqualmie River near Monroe, WA, causing a couple to strike the door as we passed each other, leaving small dings. Hartford Insurance suggested this shop as it was on their list and was close to where I live. I took it in got the appraisal for Hartford, made an appointment, brought my Prius in. Since the repair was so minor, I was promised the car would be ready in within three days, assuring me it would be ready before the weekend, as I made plans to go on a tour out of state that weekend. I received a call that my Prius would not be ready until after the weekend, due to unexpected delays. Then, after the weekend, I was informed of more delays, that my car would not Instead of taking about three days, I did not have use of my car for over a week. I was not able to go on the tour, lost the prepayment of $299.00 for me and my girlfriend. When I got my Prius back, the larger ding had been properly repaired, but the very tiny ding a very short distance away had not been repaired. The car had no damage anywhere prior to being hit by the road dividers. I had no desire to go over such an experience again, so I left. The Hartford agent added insult to this event by deciding I was at fault in this accident, had made his decision, had placed this false decision in my Hartford file, damaging me, had also reported this to C.L.U.E, the risk assessment agency. He would not listen to me about the nature of the damage, even though photographs proved I was not at fault. He also told me that I had not provided the license number of the truck that actually caused the damage. The truck license number was clearly on the police report that was in Hartford's file, so he had obviously not even read the police report, which exonerated me. Only when I complained to his supervisor was this rectified; after reading the file on the accident, she told me she was shocked by the arrogant actions by the adjustor and removed the smear he put on my record. However, she said there was no way Hartford could correct the false information against me that they reported to the C.L.U.E. risk agency without notifying me, so the false report remains on my record there, causing harm to my formerly unblemished driving record. Evergreen Autoworks also said Hartford supposedly sent me partial payment for the work, but I did not find any deposit on my account showing this. When I inquired to Hartford, they promised to check, but never got back to me. The adjustor that handled this, Corey, should be fired. Altogether this matter has caused me a lot of unnecessary trouble and money. The work that Evergreen Autoworks did was done well, but the multiple delays and failure to fix the tiny dent causes me to give them three stars. They could have fixed both dings with little or no additional time. I also smelled cigarette smoke, but the auto detailer was able to remove the odor completely. So, anyone bringing their car in for repairs should make sure what repairs will be made and they should also make a specific request that no smoking is to be done in their car, and be sure to have that noted on the paperwork before signing the agreement. I am very allergic to cigarette smoke and so are some others. The company needs to address this for their customers. read more

My wife and I have been taking our cars here mostly for oil changes for 3-4 years. My wifes brakes had never been looked at so we had them check the brakes at the last oil change. They told us the front brakes were down to nothing, which they probably were. The crazy part comes at their estimate. $600 for a front brake job. They told her that her rotors were not turnable and had to be replaced. Of course we got a second opinion from a local brake center. They told us the rotors were fine and did the entire job for $160 and the brakes feel great on her car and don't squeek or throb at all. We feel very much like we were lied to at evergreen auto to try to sell more parts and rip off people that don't know better. It really felt like boarderline fraud. We may still take our cars there for oil changes due to their coupons but we will never get any other work done there for the simple reason that they are not trustworthy and overcharge for simple maintenance tasks. The labor charge alone for their brake job was more than the entire brake job cost us elsewhere. read more

Over the past several years I have taken my vehicles to Evergreen Autoworks when I need a repair that is beyond routine maintenance and cannot be handled by a place such as Grease Monkey. The primary reason I have taken my vehicles here is because of convenience...they are within walking distance to my home so I don't have to bother anyone to come pick me up or drop me off. However, I do take my vehicles here with caution. The reason for my caution is that they do charge for every diagnostic which can run from about $50-$100 or more depending on how many systems you need investigating. It seems to me that if they do find an issue, the cost of the diagnostic ought to be decreased a bit. Additionally I have found that I do have to review my invoice carefully because nearly every time I have found some mysterious charge that doesn't make sense and I've had to question it. For example, I recently needed a fix that only the dealership could do. Ev Auto took it the dealership to make the fix with a sublet fee. Fair enough. However, the invoice had 2 sublet fees. As a result of questioning it, I was not able to pick up my vehicle, but had to wait an additional two days until my service person came back to work to discuss the additional sublet charge. It seems it was an honest mistake and the extra fee was removed. So you can work with them on any issue and they are friendly. If it wasn't for the convenience, I probably would shop around and compare shops. Now I've also taken my vehicles there for body work and they did an excellent job, but fortunately I didn't have to worry about being overcharged because insurance handled that aspect. read more
