Mostly fine. Prices are a bit high but not offensively so especially if you have a coupon (otherwise it's about the same price as my dealership which includes a car wash). They will upsell you which is of varying value: they will try to sell you a $10 air filter for $50; skip that. They did offer brake fluid flushing at market rate for my car and were honest about the service levels. They did incorrectly say the service interval (and need) for transmission fluid which was an unnecessary service for my car. Probably 3.5 stars but I'll round up since it was fast and efficient enough. Just don't let them sell you service you don't need. read more

When I pulled my car in, a friendly staff immediately greeted me and asked what service I would like to do today. Went in and had my oil changed. Weeks later I noticed some liquid dripping on my carport, so I took it back in, they told me that it was just condensation. Months later I saw a new oil leak and my check gauge light is on and the oil pressure gauge is on low while I am driving. I look under my truck and see a red shop rag stuffed underneath the filter. I don't know why would a oil change place do such a terrible thing like that? read more

Fabulously quick, kind service with up front and transparent pricing. It's significantly cheaper to go here than elsewhere. They also vacuumed my car, checked my tire pressure, and cleaned my windshield, amongst other things. Pro tip: look up Pennzoil Valpak and show them the coupon at payment. This particular store is the worst place for engine oil change. Why? Five weeks after this store did engine oil change for my RAV4, the power steering of RAV4 becomes hard to turn. I towed it to Toyota Specialists to check what's wrong with it. Take a guess what happens to my RAV4: The connector by the power steering pump motor under the dash is the problem. The connector is plugged in but there is a secondary lock that is NOT locked. So, it looks like somebody worked on the RAV4 and forgot to lock it, according to Toyota Specialists. That somebody is Mobil 1 Lube Express at 22740 Bothell-Everett Hwy, Bothell, WA, and phone is (425)-485-3343. For safety purpose, please keep your car away from this particular store. Highly recommend this shop. I was in and out in less than an hour with what felt like a full service. Came for an oil change because I refused to pay the inflated Seattle prices. This place was worth the drive. Oil change, change of air filters, they also refilled my windshield wiper fluid. I left with my car feeling amazing and I couldn't be happier. This review is way overdue. I have been coming here for about 5 years. The first 2 years for my personal cars, the last 3 years for my fleet of rental cars. They have done about 350 oil changes for me so far. And I have done about 200 oil changes with other places. I tell you from experience that this place is the only place in the 50 mile radius that does it right. They drain everything (NOT extracting), change the necessary parts and refill with quality oil. They do NOT take shortcuts or cut corners. They also do a better job with transmission oil than most dealerships in the area. The prices are reasonable, the wait is just a few minutes. George (owner) and his son Andrew do a great job running the business. All the employees Jeff, Fabian, and James are amazing individuals with great customer service and always take care of all of my fleet. It is an absolute pleasure doing business with them. I have been taking my car to the Canyon Park Pennzoil for years with great service, but yesterday Jeff and Jason went even further. I mentioned that the windshield washer fluid was full, but nothing was coming out on the windshield. They saw it leaking onto the ground and found a connector popped apart. They connected it and oulala, it worked again! I can always trust then to only recommend what is needed, and I have found the extra services to be cheaper than a regular mechanic with the same quality, so I am happy to be a continuing customer. No complaints or no suggestions for improvement here! Whether it's for an oil change or to get that "tire pressure low" light to go away, the people at Pennzoil have always been professional, honest and fast. The waiting room is small but you find comfortable chairs, free coffee/water, some reading material (although most people will likely be on their phones) and of course, a TV. You will definitely receive recommendations for service and will be informed of promotional opportunities to add to your service, but I have NEVER felt pressured or uncomfortable about declining if I felt it wasn't necessary. The one thing I will comment on to those people who are trying to get to I-405 from here is that ... you can't. At least not easily. Since you'd have to cross 4 lanes of traffic on Bothell-Everett Hwy, (BEH) which is always a cluster, just to flip a u-turn, turn right instead and either make another quick right into the Bank of America parking lot to get to a traffic light or continue down BHE until you can make a u-turn. read more

I got an oil change from this location last week & will definitely be returning. I hate getting oil changes because I hate being pressured into buying things, but I didn't have to worry about that here. They vacuumed out my car as well, & found a bracelet under my seat I thought I lost, so that was a win! I would have given 5 stars but I took one away because, I pulled up to get an oil change, I had to wait awhile because there were already 2 cars being worked on & 2 cars behind them waiting, the 2 workers (african American & an Asian guy) were doing good, I can't complain about them, they were fast, but still kind to every customer. I could tell it was a busy day for them & was a little confused as to why there were only 2 guys working on such a busy day? Only to find out as I waited in the lobby, there was a 3rd guy working with them, but he sat in the lobby area the whole time on his phone, (smiling from what I could see) & in & out of the bathroom. Even when the 2 gentlemen finished a car, one of them would walk in the lobby & help bill a customer out. If I could just give the 2 gentleman 5 starts I wouldn't even hesitate, but I took a star away due to the unprofessional employee, wasting space in the bathroom. I got out of there within 55 minutes, which is still pretty good for 4 cars in front of me plus my oil change. But I could only imagine how much faster it would have been with an actual 3rd employee helping them out. read more

Oil service was fast. But it was everything else that I was not happy with. I have gone here twice. The first time, they seemed a little heavy handed with trying to upsell me (wipers, synthetic oil, additional services). It got even worse the second time. Also, they don't necessarily know what they are talking about. Each time they try to convince me I need to get my transmission fluid changed. They come in with a color chart that is supposed to prove it needs to be changed. They do this based solely on its color. Don't fall for this scam! The color is only one of many indicators of transmission problems. Search this topic online, it is very obvious they are misinformed and just trying to drum up some business. Each of the two times I told them the transmission fluid was changed less than 2 years and less than 15,000 miles ago, and the car is running flawlessly. Last time, I had to tell this to just about everyone there and they would still not leave me alone about it. I will not be coming back because I don't need the hassle - can't I just get my oil changed? read more

These guys don't know what they are doing. I brought my own factory oil filter which had a blatant pictogram showing that you need to fill the filter with oil before installing it. I brought my own oil and filter. Owners manual and Cummins says this must be done as well. The filter holds almost two quarts, so the engine was running without oil for the first minute of operation. Even worse they argued with me about it and wouldn't prefill it after I asked. Thanks for putting my new Diesel at risk guys! To add insult to injury they tried to charge 10 dollars more without explanation over the price quoted when I pulled in. Not cool. Just lazy and untrained. read more
