My wife brought her car here specifically to fix an engine issue. The shop promised they could fix it and convinced her to get a massive list of expensive, unnecessary repairs, assuring her the car would be back to normal. She trusted them and paid in full. The moment she picked up the car and drove it for literally ONE minute, the exact same symptoms returned--the car started shaking violently and the warning lights came back on immediately. When she went back to ask why the vehicle was still broken, they immediately blamed her and shockingly admitted that they do not even have the capability or equipment to fix engine problems. If you knew from the start that you couldn't fix the engine, why did you scam her into paying for a ton of other work? They didn't even apologize, they just deflected blame onto the customer. i got 4 tires installed here a few years back. They claimed a wheel stud broke and charged me $100 to replace it. Ok, i guess it happens i thought. Few years later i took my car to a different place to have my tires rotated for free. Here, they found that another wheel stud sheared off while removing a wheel. This means that whoever installed the wheel last overtightened the lug nut, causing damage, which was at Goodyears. Now it adds up, They broke one bolt last time and overtightened another that broke off with the stress of trying to remove it. By the way, the second shop doesn't fix broken bolts so they didn't do it to sell me or charge me to fix it. I got a replacement bolt at an auto parts store for $3.xx. and replaced it myself. This Goodyears is both incompetent and dishonest in my experience. Do not recommend. read more

I've been here several times recently for an assortment of services ranging from suspension work, wheel balancing and alignment, A/C service and a starter replacement on several different cars. They're competitive on price, seem to do good work and don't oversell. They're only a couple of miles from home and I've always been able to get in quickly whereas the shop I had been using was further away through I-405 traffic, has limited parking and appointments are always a week or so out. Shout out to Mike and his team for the EXCELLENT customer service after my nightmarish experience with Firestone in Millcreek. I now have the new tires I should have had a couple of weeks ago. Even with some hiccups in the delivery of all 4 tires, Mike made sure that I was kept up to date on the status the entire time. He even called to let me know they were all finally there and squeezed me in this morning instead of making me wait until Monday! Hats off to you. I came in because my front right tire had a nail in it, and i figure it would be a good time to change over to my snow tires. I asked them to give me the best looking tire as a spare, and scrap the rest, as i intended to buy a new set of tires in the spring. The man who did the job gave me a "look," like i was an annoyance to them, and handed me back the tire.... with the nail in it. I returned with the tire, and told them they knew exactly what they did. He did know, and he proceeded to immediately patch it for free. Slimey business practices. I typically don't get my car worked on by chain auto shops but in a pinch, getting my car worked on here was the best I could do. With my whole family working in the car business, I prefer private mechanics and find working with them to be a better deal and a more positive experience. Although my car did end up getting fixed, it was more difficult of a process and WAY more expensive at Goodyear than it would have been somewhere else. My car broke down on the side of the freeway and after calling around, none of my typical mechanics could take my car in at such urgent notice. So, I got my car towed after hours to this Goodyear location. I was promptly called the next morning to discuss what I needed done when they opened which was a pleasant surprise. They were able to replace my alternator and a few other small parts that needed to be fixed in a timely manner. I got my car back by the end of the day which I was impressed by. Everyone was very kind and helpful as well. However, I do have a few complaints. They locked my key in the car and made me come back to the store to give them the spare (keep in mind that my car is broken down with them and I do not have a car to do this at this point) so I had to find someone to give me a ride and then stood in the lobby for quite some time waiting to be helped. I also had washed my car a few days before and when I picked it up, there were dirty handprints and smears all over my driver side which I thought was very odd. And ultimately, after getting a quote from my typical mechanic, I paid almost double the price that I would have paid somewhere else which is quite the increase and is not at all ideal. The only thing positive about this is that I do now have a 2 year warranty on the part which you don't always get if you go with a private mechanic. If you're having a car crisis and need to get work done here, it will do. However, I wouldn't say that I recommend them! read more

I had a very unfortunate experience at this good year location. I made an appointment to have my tires changed and oil change. Pretty simple stuff. When I arrived, I was being checked in and the man up front said that he couldn't help me and would have to wait for the manager, so I sat for about 20 minutes. They got started on my car probably about 45 minutes after my appointment time. I was planning to wait there until my car was done, then they told me it would be a couple of hours since they were busy that afternoon, but I was the only person in the waiting lobby... So, I got picked up and taken back to my house. I was there for probably 30 minutes and then I got a call that my car was done. Great that it's done early! But unfortunate that I couldn't have just waited in the lobby until my car was done... I was given the keys to my car and saw that the tires had not even been changed out. I went back inside, and the man upfront said that the technician must have forgot and was going to be off in 15 minutes and that I would have to come back another time. I replied... no??.. I made this appointment specifically to have my tires changed and had been waiting over 2 hours for this? He then said the technician would do it. So I sat down and waited another 40 minutes until my tires were changed.. Ultimately, I will not be coming here again, inaccurate wait times, disorganized, and overall bad communication. My advice to you...avoid this place like the plague. read more

The service at the beginning was great! The salesman was super helpful, friendly and funny. The overall energy in the lobby was very positive! There were no issues when I got my new tires mounted onto my new wheels either other than some light scratches on the wheels paint but that was somewhat expected. However, we weren't able to fit all the wheels and tires into the back of my Jeep due to their size and since there were 5 of them, so I left and said I'd be back later that day after borrowing a bigger vehicle but since they closed in an hour, I called them to ask if it would be okay to pick them up tomorrow. The guy who answered was hesitant about saying yes and made me feel guilty for even asking. When my boyfriend went to pick them up the next day before noon, he said the workers there were passive aggressive about him "finally showing up" and they were "wondering if he would even show." I understand that it may not be ideal for a customer to not be able to take home their wheels and tires day of, but it wasn't intentional. We really believed they would all fit in the back of my car with the seats down! But the fact that they were passive aggressive after I had just spent over $2500 on tires, made it feel like I had picked the wrong place to buy my tires. After all, ever tire place price matches now. I don't regret going to this location, but I won't be back for when I plan to size up my tires again. read more

Brian and the tech working (Sorry I forgot his name) were so, so helpful this weekend figuring out my custom headlight situation and steering issue. I inherited a car from my dad and unfortunately don't know a lot about the custom work that was done on it. I had a headlight go out and thought I just needed a bulb change but after taking it to a couple places before Goodyear and them not being able to do it, I couldn't understand why it wasn't a simple fix (most places couldn't even get to the headlight to see inside it) Goodyear was able to take it apart and reveal that the cadillac factory wiring had been replaced with custom LED wiring and I actually need to replace the entire headlight, not just the bulb. Although Goodyear does not do this type of electrical service, they helped me out a lot just by figuring it out and giving recommendations on where to go from there. I visited them 3 times with tons of questions about my car, and Brian was so friendly and so knowledgeable through this whole process. They looked at my car several times and took some things apart to get to the inner mechanisms but since no repairs were actually done, I wasn't charged a dime. Got the info I've been needing and these guys are super down to earth and kind. Thank you so much. read more

Took my car in for the usual oil change on Super Bowl Sunday. I have used Goodyear for several of my vehicles, tires and other automotive service needs. Heard some disgruntled murmuring about the fact that I'd scheduled online and how this doesn't align with mechanics on duty when leaving car in the morning. Flash forward to Tuesday early am; giant growing oil puddle under car on my garage floor! Had to use secondary vehicle to drive to work, arriving late. Called Goodyear who arranged for a tow truck to arrive at my home later that day (had to leave work early to meet), however, tow driver was late. Tow driver pushed car out of garage onto drive about 20' and we proceeded to Goodyear with MY keys in his pocket. What ensued next was the most unprofessional and poorest customer service experience I have had. Tow driver arguing with Goodyear staff regarding payment, holding my car hostage on the truck while I was told to use tow drivers phone to talk to his boss while simultaneously talking on my phone to dispatch too settle situation?!? Mechanics found cracked o ring on filter inferring product fault instead of obvious over torquing. Original oil change fee refunded. Was told to make contact with Mgr the next day. No surprise I had to make the call, requested garage floor clean up which was greeted with less then enthusiastic response. Said he could get a couple of his guys up there the next day. No thanks- took care of it myself that evening with the help of kitty litter and some scrubbing. Add not even a bit of concern for the fact that I was late to work and had to leave work early because of their mistake. He was only concerned with the tow truck driver I understand accidents can happen and they can be rectified by professional manager communication, however, none of that happened at this location. They saved a damsel in distress! It's been snowing here the last couple days with ice and snow on the ground. My tire pressures showed low so I stopped in to see what they could do. They got me right in to check the tire pressure and then filled to the proper levels. No charge! Said it was courtesy. I offered to tip the guy who filled my tires but he refused. Whenever possible, I support local businesses. Buying local helped me this time. I originally  went to TOS Tires and Wheels to purchase my tires.  That was a disaster because they broke several post and mangled my lugnuts but tried to blame it on the last company that serviced my tires.  Anyway, last weekend I somehow managed to sustain bandage to my tire.   Under no circumstances was I going back to TOS.  For a few day's I pondering my course of action.  I decided to visit Goodyear.  The service tech listened to my story and promptly provided me with a solution. My husband and I were out running errands last Saturday when our tire pressure light went on. We watched as the dash display showed the left rear tire pressure go from 20 PSI (when the light went on) all the way down to 2 PSI in a matter of minutes. We quickly Googled nearby tire places and ended up coming to Goodyear. They very kindly let us wait inside, even though we had our Great Dane puppy with us (and it was raining outside and nobody likes wet dog smell!). Within about 30-45 min, they were able to take a look at our tire and diagnose that we had run over a razor blade that had shredded up the inside of the tire. Unfortunately due to the make and model of our car, they didn't carry the exact replacement tire that we needed. They graciously put our spare on, loaded the shredded tire (in a plastic bag) into the trunk, and didn't charge us for the time spent. We expected to pay at least something for the inspection so this was a pleasant surprise! They recommended we go down the street to Discount Tire since we needed a very specific replacement tire. Unfortunately, Discount Tire didn't have what we needed, but we were able to drive to the dealership today (Monday) on the spare and purchase a replacement. read more

Don't come to this branch! They're lack of technician and bad. I came for alignment job, and I have a 3 yrs contract. I saw there are only 2 staff, and my car just sitting on the alignment tools. When they said its done, he can't provide the alignment report . So the company can not provide the print out. So they only told me its done and provide no print out showing the numbers for ea wheel! His reason is printer not working, but I knew my wasn't aligned completely. read more

I am sorry to say I will no longer go to this location, as the manager quoted me for things I didn't need fixed totaling over $1,200. I went for a second opinion, and they saved me over $700.00 and stated I didn't need my rear brakes done and even showed me the pads. I greatly appreciated the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. I came in for a pre-trip check and oil change, and that's exactly what I got. They didn't try to up sell me or pressure me into other services. My vehicle was done in the time window they quoted me and the cost really wasn't anymore than other oil changes in the area. I took my car here for an alternator problem (the information is everywhere on the internet about it) and the diagnosis was to give it an oil change and two new front tires. It was trigging a "solenoid response from the VVTi system" is what they said, although that would have no relevance to my issue, not to mention I drive a Honda, and anyone knows Honda doesnt use Toyota's VVTi system. They did keep trying to charge me for something before I left, so i finally relented and said fine top off my engine oil but they didnt bother doing that because the diagnosis of it being 3.5qts low was a sham. Suffice to say im not that gullible, and wont recommend anything beyond a tire change here. The counter did refund my .5 hr diagnostic fee, but Im still going to warn of their practices. read more

Got my tires here for a special deal and it was the only reason why I tried them. But won't be coming back. Service is so-so... they didn't even reset my tpms light on my dash after changing to new tires... seriously? ..and rotation and rebalancing isn't free? I took my car later for free rotation and rebalancing to Discount Tires and they didn't even hassle me for anything. I ran over a few nails/screws and punctured my tire. I managed to drive it to Goodyear and leave it for them in the morning. When I went to pick it up the next day, they said the punctures were repaired and didn't charge me a cent. Glad to know that great customer service still exists. These people are scammers. They inspected my brakes and said they were at the bare minimum wear and that my rotors needed to be changed. I took my car to a trusted source, my dad, and he inspected the brakes and guess what? Brakes were perfectly fine! Over 50% of brake pad left, rotors were just fine! This place scams people, especially people who aren't well educated in car maintenance. No wonder they would work on my car right away, people don't go there because they learned they are scammers! Replaced 2 26" windshield wipers on a 2013 Ford Fusion. $38.27 per wiper for a grand total of $84 ...no labor charge. Really ? This is a fleet vehicle and I was in a rush but the margins they are making on parts are extreme. It took the service guy around 15 minutes to input my info on the computer. The first time service i didn't have too much complain except the wait time was long Just for a small check up. One of the manager was selling the service which was not necessary. The second time was even worse, longer wait time for oil change they want you to leave the car there for all day. The third time I had to go out of the town for a family emergency and asked for alignment and tire checked. The manager told me I need to make an appointment no drop in even though I expressed the death in the family. I then asked for the refund of the alignment deal sold to me and have not yet used. The manager refused. He was rude and insisted that I need to made an appointment. There were some battling before I can get on the waiting list and it was A FEW HOURS! I normally don't lose my patience but this time. I bought the tires here as well as the alignment package. I am stuck with them due to that reason but does not recommend this service shop. I just got one of my tire flattened ,it was Sunday and I saw this shop nearby and asked my insurance to tow here as my spare tires also got punctured .(Note my tires were last changed brand new by ford dealer just 12 thousand miles before this incident ). They took advantage of the situation and said the tire cannot be fixed for the puncture and they will not use my spare tire even it can be fixed because other front tire is having inside edge balded and they will not handle my car and I am forced to pay $360 just for changing 2 front tires . It was the end of the day on a Wednesday and I had just run over a screw with my Chevy 2500. I had to take my wife to the airport the next morning for a 6am flight. I called this Goodyear for help, and after getting there less than an hour before closing, they got me in and patched up.
