They only use jacks so even though they have them protected they still slam up against your vehicle. Bothell Discount Tire just saved my wallet. We needed the unicorn of tires Winter Swedish Vredestein rubber for the 21" Überturbine wheels on our Tesla Model Y Performance. Everywhere else either laughed at me, quoted me Michelin Pilot Sport 4S prices that should come with a side of lube, or just flat-out ghosted me.Discount Tire? They special-ordered them( From Sweden) like it was no big deal and saved me roughly a grand & that's real I can still afford groceries this month money. Their Tire Rack partnership has pricing so good it feels borderline illegal & Yeah, the place is always slammed because apparently the entire Eastside knows this is the spot if you don't want to get financially waterboarded for tires. called in asking them a price for getting my tpms sensors installed and on the phone the guy was nice and helpful and told me $10 per tire if I had my own sensors, went in and some kid told me $140 for all of them and when I told him about the call he pretty much said tuff luck. called the Lynwood location and they told me $10 a tire as well, have an appointment with them now. will not be going back to the Bothell location. read more

Garbage. "I'll have our best guy do it" THIS IS THE BEST YOU GOT? Supposedly the assistant manager mounted this... you're joking right? This is the craftsmanship you offer? These guys don't know how to do simple tasks and I will never come back. This is my 4th issue in a row with them. I had these tires mounted months ago(on new wheels), 1 of 4 wheels had the paint taken off, I only noticed when I got home...months later the new valve stems installed on 1 wheel is leaking due to loose nut on backside...I take it back for a simple dismount, valve stem fix, and remount...but they can't even do that. It's just pathetic, zero workmanship, no respect for people's stuff. When I show up and I mention multiple times to not scuff/scratch my wheels...you should probably take the extra time to do it right. I show up with the wheels; spotless. Off car, ready to go. I cleaned them thoroughly...they're basically flawless besides one rock chip. They do the job and use pliers ON my threads for the valve stem and manage to scuff/ruin the lip on the rework...when I show up none of the rubber markings or tire soap is wiped off, I wipe it off, paint missing, what're we doing here?...not to mention why is the valve stem outrageously tight, cracking the seal...who knows how long it will last at that point. These were brand new. While I did manage to file a claim I doubt anything will happen. This shop sucks, straight up. I had to delete a previous negative review to post this. The workers don't care. Point blank. I'm lost for words. You can't paint match/blend "Eternal blue" by Rays...can you get close? Sure, but these wheels were basically new, I'm not going for "close"... I'm not going to allow to have a shop attempt to blend one of my wheels or respray. Doesn't matter if you have $200-10,000 wheels. I wouldn't trust this shop. It's a shame I used them in the first place. TAKE PICTURES OF YOUR WHEELS PRIOR. If you have to use these guys. Otherwise, use someone else. It's bad, I could write another 7 paragraphs about this shop. But I'm done, just outright done with these guys. I wouldn't even take a fleet vehicle here. We set up and appointment for some tires all ordered and paid for and I show up the day of and they tell me they talked to my wife and said they were unavailable on the 23rd. My wife never got a call and we were never notified. Their only option was to refund the money for the payment. Huge drive to get here only to find out they didn't have what they promised. TL;DR: Check your receipt for unwanted charges! Went in today to get new tires put on. When working with the sales guy, everything seemed pretty straightforward. I told him exactly my make, model, and wheel size. I told him the exact tires I wanted. I then asked him if I pay now or when I picked up my vehicle and he said now, so I paid and left. Note that he didn't inspect my vehicle before I paid. Upon return while picking up my FOB, they asked if I wanted a copy of my receipt. I said yes. As we were leaving, the sales guy mentions that he threw on some new wipers. This seemed odd to me. I asked him if they were bad and he said yes. This was odd because I had replaced them about 4 months prior with Bosch ICONs. I then asked him if I could get my old ones back. He went back into the garage and retrieved them for me (photo attached). Sure enough, the wipers looked in good shape. After leaving Discount Tire, I checked my receipt and found a few items listed that I did not recognize. I Googled the descriptions and found I was charged for new wipers and extended warranties (DISCOUNT TIRE CERTIFICATE) on my tires without my permission. Since I had paid my invoice BEFORE anyone inspected my vehicle, the wiper charge was already on my invoice without informing me. We called the store manager, Keith, who took off the unwanted items (wiper and warranty) and refunded the install fees. This refund came to $300+ dollars. Buyer beware!!! read more

This location has the worst customer service. Came in due to a nail in my tire. I was initially quoted 1.5 hours. After an hour, I noticed my car still wasn't taken in for service. I had inquired about when my car would be worked on and they quoted me another 2 hours before it could be pulled in. I was provided with an online tracker when I left the location to keep tabs on it. At the quoted time that it should've been ready, my car STILL hadn't been taken in. I called the store and said it would be done soon. They shortly called back to updated me that my tire needed to be replaced due to another issue. I decided to get my car serviced elsewhere and notified them to put the spare on. I received the confirmation text that my car was ready to be picked up, only to show up with my car without the wheel on it. I am BEYOND livid that they waited half the day to tell me the issue with my tire, leaving me with 1 hour before all tire shops were going to be closed until Monday. As someone who never before has had a flat tire or needed to go to a tire workshop in an emergency, this was hands-down the best experience I could have hoped for! I came in last week after unexpectedly getting a flat tire, and I was checked in quickly by a team member - everyone was wearing masks and following proper COVID-19 prevention protocols, which was comforting. I was assisted by Kristian right away, and explained the situation. He was attentive to what I was saying and made me feel very reassured that the team would take a look and inspect the car properly. Less than an hour later, I receive a call that they had patched up my tire and my car was ready to go. On top of the wonderful customer service provided, the tire service itself was at no cost to me! Went in to get a tire fixed in Bothell, WA. They fixed the wrong one. I embarrassed them after showing them. When they fixed the correct tire, after waiting ANOTHER 40 mins, they retaliated by putting the black wall inside and, the one and only tire with raised letters on the outside. The steel belts in the radial tire will be reversed, causing belt separation. They were mad about working after 6pm so took it out on me. I noticed a poster on their wall about Integrity. Pretty ironic that when you catch them at a bad time, Integrity goes out the window. You'll wait FOREVER to have you tire pressure checked for free. They have junk charges on the bill that should be illegal, but that's how they operate, NOT transparent or honest. read more

I went in with a damaged tire and was told I only needed to replace that one, the others were good, that if I wanted to buy a pair, of course I could. No hard sale, for sure. I ordered a pair, paid, went home and then saw on the receipt an item added that I never authorized. I called, and a different rep answered the phone. I said based on being overcharged I was canceling the second of the pair of tires (I'll get it elsewhere, and three other places I contacted had lower prices) and said to remove the unauthorized fees. I went in today for installation and dealt again with the original rep who not only didn't apologize for overcharging me, but then chided me that it wasn't safe to only buy one new tire -- and he's the guy who originally said I didn't need two! Then when I get my car, some other guy says, Oh, yeah, your TPMS won't work anymore because all three of the other sensors are bad. I was, like, really, I come in with perfectly functioning TPMS and now all three go bad overnight? I got home, checked the air pressure, and one tire was low. (And the one they'd just put on was 8 lb OVERfilled.) So much for them checking all your tire air pressure for free. I filled the tire, ran it around the block and, abracadabra, the TPMS light went off. This senior citizen lady fixed that all on my own in spite of Discount Tire, not with their help.
