I took my own new rims, tires and tire pressure monitors to be mounted. They did what they said, for the agreed reasonable price. Also mentioning that the tire pressure monitors could potentially have an issue communicating with my Porsche system, (everything worked as it should but at least I was told of any potential issues before hand). Wouldn't even give him 1 star if I didn't have to. This was by far the worst place I've ever been to. I originally wanted to buy the rims and get them put on else where, but the owner told me if I did that then he wouldn't put any type of warranty or return on them because other places would scratch them. So I said ok I'll let you put them on. He told me they wanted to make sure it was done right. I picked the car up and drove it home. The same day I was getting some vibration at higher speeds, it didn't feel like the tires were balanced. I called and his cousin said he's busy he'll call you back. I never received call and ended up going out of town. When I got back, I called again and couldn't get ahold of anyone. So I took it to discount tire to the tires balanced. They told me the tires had never been balanced and the wheels weren't a good fit. So I called again and again and again until I finally got ahold of the cousin of the owner. I told him the situation and he said he'll have the owner call me. Hours later I get a call and tried to explain to him the problem. He immediately starts to get defensive and say things like those big tire places always try to bad mouth small shops like mine. I told him they didn't even know that I got them from you, they didn't ask. But he insisted it was because of that. So I said I want to return them. He says he doesn't have a return policy so I can't. Then he lies and says he never told me that if I took them else where he wouldn't warranty them or allow returns, but if I let him put them on then he would. After a lot of back and forth arguing and the owner trying to yell at me, he finally says I'll take them back but you have to pay me. I asked why and how much. He said because I don't like you, your car or the rims you picked out. Which is funny seeing as how he sells them in his store. He told me to pay him half of what I paid for the rims in order to return them. When I said that makes no sense he laughed and said I don't care, I don't want to deal with you. Then when I agreed he started saying he wouldn't take them off the car I had to go somewhere else. I said this contradicts what you said in the beginning about other people scratching them and they're your rims so why not just take them off yourself. He said because he didn't feel like doing it for me and he can do what he wants since he owns the store. He Also told me he was going to call his Lynnwood store and tell them not to do anything for me. This was the worst customer service I've ever received. I trusted TOS to do a job and they failed miserably. I would never recommend this terrible place. I'm now stuck with a set of rims that don't fit well on my car. Had he checked the fit before hand we wouldn't be in this situation. When I asked why he didn't he said because I thought I knew it would fit fine and I don't have to tell you everything. To patch a runflat tire, got a $25 estimate from Costco, $40 estimate from Les Schwaab, $60 estimate from Mercedes dealer & worst of all was tirestone on 164th, I was asked to replace all 4 tires with some logicless sales pitch & quoted $1100. While this gentleman patched it for $10 & went out of his way to do it few minutes before the closing time. Extremely professional & courteous unlike the overpriced franchise tire shops that work a little but try to squeeze last dollar from the customers. Businesses like these need the community support!! This place is a total rip off. 1 star is too much. The first guy I spoke with gave me a price on a set of rims and it seemed kinda high. So I asked if we could negotiate. He then called over another guy, who I think said he was the owner. That guy gave me a price $50 higher than the other guy. When I said something they tried to tell me I was lying and started arguing with me. After calling me a liar and telling me they can price it at whatever they want he then says if you buy these wheels I'll throw in the lug nuts for free since yours won't fit. I said wow, hell no and proceeded to walk out. In the way out they both said good leave we don't want your business anyway. I would never send someone to this place, such a gross way to treat people. Bought 4 new tires here at the end of last year. My car alerted me last weekend that my tire pressure was off and I had it checked at another store on Monday and they discovered nail in my tire in a spot that couldn't be repaired. We reached out to TOS with hopes they would cut us a deal on a new tire since the damaged tire was relatively new and they ended up replacing the tire for FREE because of their great warranty (we only paid $25 in labor cost). They put that new tire on in 5 minutes and let me know that if anything similar was to happen, my tires were under warranty for a year from the date they were originally installed. Prior to that I had a flat tire and I needed to get around he lent me a tire to use and even mounted it on my car until the rims and tires came without hesitation. Bothell location: They are good when they are open, reasonably priced and sometimes friendly. I have had some 'odd' service where I did not feel welcome. My biggest issue is that they frequently are not open on time or close early. They seldom answer the phone so it is difficult to know when they will be open. I waited half an hour for someone to open once. Today I saw they were open at 3:00 and that they were open until five. I swung by to have some tires mounted at 3:30 and they were closed. Their web site doesn't seem to list their hours of operation and Google shows different hours than Yelp. read more

Very friendly. But he sold my husband the wrong rims for his truck, the offset was wrong. Causing them to pull and break the brake lines. Went back after 3 weeks and he said no warranty, no returns. Offered to give 1/2 of what we paid to go towards the right ones. Wont ever go back. read more

I have share my recent experience.  i yelped tire shops and found TOS Tires and wheels. I phoned and talked to Oliver.  I drove over soon after and paid for my tires.  I came in two days later to have them installed.  Here is where it gets interesting.  Approx install time was to be 20 min.  for two tires but in my case it extended for over an hour and a half.  Oliver comes in and hands me a disfigured lugnut and immediately blamed the previous tire installer for over tightening.  Not once did he come in  during this period and tell me there was an installation problem.  He did not offer repair services so I left his shop and went to an auto supply store to replace the missing and mangled nut.  I attempted to install it and the bolt was also mangled.  I showed the clerks and explained the situations and they couldn't believe that happened and they even know Oliver.  Result of this poor service, I'm out an additional 100.00.  Reason: four of the five studs were damaged and one of the studs even had a obviously smaller lugnut then I had on it.  Note: that would have been a problem if I needed to change it in the future.  Note ones should hand thread and use the correct size socket to install.  Anyway his shop put me and my family in potential danger and that is inexcusable. read more

I don't know if it is as good as it gets but I am definitely a huge fan of TOS tires and wheels in Bothell. Lets be honest. The only reason I went here is because they offered credit to me when nobody else would. It turned out to be a great experience. I dealt with Oliver. I had called around to many places and I chose TOS because when I called them Oliver was incredibly professional and polite. Very respectful. Others places weren't so much. I ended up getting tires and wheels, both new, for my Mercedes ML350. 20" so I did have to wait a day for the tires to be ordered and delivered. I was in the shop a long time but only because Oliver took the time to meticulously clean my tire sensors because I didn't want to spend 240$ to replace them. He was hopeful that the cleaning would work. So far, so good. He could of told me they needed to be replaced and not knowing anything about that, I would of said yes, but he was honest and as I said before, spent a long time cleaning them. I have no idea how the service would be if I have a problem. There is a great warranty on the tires and TOS couldn't do an alignment but Oliver insisted that I have that done within a week or so of my purchase and he apologized about not doing that in their shop. I did have that done, at Firestone, and as a side note it was a horrible experience there. I have already highly recommended this place to friends and family. Anybody looking for tires and / or wheels at a good price should definitely give this place a try. They also have a store in Lynwood. As far as the selection of wheels, they have a huge selection plus many catalogs to look through and they can order up anything you desire. Again, I highly recommend this place. And Oliver, if you see this, you are awesome. Thank you again for such a great experience. But, do something about the heat in your showroom......It was cold in there. :) read more
