Had 4 new tires installed and everything seemed to go well. After getting on the freeway and reaching speeds of up to 65 MPH, I noticed a slight vibration which was not there prior to putting the tires on. The tech stating that "due to the nature of the tires, there would be some vibration", but it was too hard to ignore, and it seemed too off. My conclusion is that there was an imbalance. I took the vehicle to Les Schwab to check and sure enough, on each wheel, all four of them, were 1-3 ounces of imbalance. I should have known that 30 minutes for a 4-tire install was too good to be true. Turns out it was. It is clear that there was no effort to properly balance the tires, furthermore, no adjustments were made to the wheel weights. This could have resulted in a massive safety issue. Luckily after the correction by Les Schwab, the vibration is gone. read more

They did a great job. I came in to have a set of used tires installed on an old vehicle. The ones I had brought in would not work for me, we work through the problem and they had a set of the correct size that were perfect for my use. They let me know and corrected a lug nut issue I had as well as checked my spare tire for proper air pressure. I went to S point after cracking one of my rims due to the pot holes in downtown Seattle. I purchased two new toyo proxies from them. Upon instillation they ripped the sidewall of my brand new tires. Fast forward 40mins otw home. I check my tire and it's flat. I take it off went to Manny at J&J and man it only took less than a second and manny already identified the problem. These S point guys ripped my tire upon installation. While I was purchasing a new tire from now J&J. Manny was teaching me everything, from mounting to how they balance and allowed me to watch them do it the correct way. All I can say is thank you to manny and his crew for really showing up other tire shops. AWESOME - as usual. I had a nail in tire. Went to two 'well known' shops. My car is AWD so similar/close/exact tread depth is imperative unless one wants to replace all 4. 1st shop was willing to sell me one tire. (and I went back to buy it) I got home and looked at receipt to find 'fine print' /warning/safety disclaimer regarding possible damage to my car which no one mentioned before I bought the tire. Second shop measured tread depth on all tires then quoted me the wrong depth and wanted me to buy two 'off brand' tires which would take a few days to get in shop then schedule an appointment for installation. Somehow I'd forgotten my past great experiences with J&J. I gave them a call and they had 2 BARELY USED, name brand tires (better brand/ quality tires than the new ones offered at 2nd shop) which matched the 90% tread depth on my 2 front tires. I saved over $100 on 2 better tires APPROPRIATE for use in combination with the perfectly good, hardly used tires I already had on my car. J & J shared important information, were totally straightforward and honest, and got me 'out the door' with no waiting AND the best tires for my car rather than their businesses' 'bottom line'. I saved at least $400 from what I'd have had to spend on 4 new tires of the brand/quality I got from J & J..... because they had tires matching the tread depth on mine. Great customer service. My brother popped my tire in the McDonald's parking lot late on a Sunday afternoon. They sent someone to come take the tire off my car in the parking lot and brought back a replacement to avoid having to tow my car. The whole process took less than 30 minutes. Friendly, Affordable, and Fast! I called in the morning looking for a set of 16" tires for a 99' Ford Explorer. They had a set with 60% tread, and they offer a 30 day warranty on all tires. With balance and installation, I was out the door in under $250! Tire factory quoted me $587.12 for a set of 4 new tires for this truck and they wouldn't have them until next Wednesday. Went there to get my brakes repaired and I have to say my experience with these guys were awesome! First of all the technician wasn't even scheduled in that day but he came in on his day off to service my vehicle Jose was very accommodating which I appreciated very much because I really needed my car repaired. He was also very thorough throughout the whole service explaining to me and even showing what needs to be done and why. I had complete faith in him that he was doing what's right for the customer and not just trying to up the $$ in service repairs like a lot of other places do. Not a great experience. Bought 15" wheels for my vanagon, and wanted to get the tires and wheels mounted there. The manager said it's hard finding these tires so he'll just sell me the wheels. Well, after finding out the wheels don't fit, the manager said "well that's why we want to do the work here." But I wanted to? Also, he all of a sudden knew about all the complications with fitting vanagon wheels, but only AFTER I bought them. I tried to take them back WITHIN THE HOUR and he refused. He said he had to talk to the owner. He also claimed their ads say "NO REFUNDS" which is not true. There is NO SIGN stating this at the store, and I never received a receipt. Whenever I asked to talk to the owner, he was always in some meeting. They ended up charging me a 50% restock fee. I had to bite the bullet because I don't need wheels that don't fit anyway. Also, the wheels pictured were A LOT cleaner than the ones they actually sold me. The oil and tar that was stuck on there wouldn't even wash off. I asked them if they can clean it when I bought it, and he said I could do it with just soap and water. Awesome customer service. BTW, I went down the street to Discount tires and they had the tires in stock, with an extra weight load rating. More stock, professional shop and parking spots. A better option, IMO. read more

Great place to get tires or have your brakes done. The owner as well as the staff there really look out for you the customer and get you the best deal they can. Definitely good guys you can trust. I've sent my wife who is both disabled a bit and definitely auto non knowledgeable more than three times and they took care of her very well. I usually don't like to let her go to get our car serviced anywhere because she is so car non knowledgeable that I am worried that she will be taken advantage of. Not these folks. They have been honest to a T. Highly recommend. They don't overcharge or try to upselll and selll you stuff you don't need and they take care of what you need to have taken care of. Don't be fooled by the location or appearance of this gem! I came in with a tire that had been quickly deflating for a couple days and had a visible nail in it. Firestone told me it'd be a 6-7 hour wait just for someone to look at it (which I do kind of understand since it was a Sunday) I came here and RIGHT AWAY someone looked at my tire and patched it for me. I can't thank these guys enough! VERY affordable and you can tell they care about doing quality work for their customers. I didn't even have to miss out on the first quarter of the Seahawks game while I waited. I highly suggest come to J&J next time you need your tires looked at. read more

I had been looking around for tires and calling different places and came across this place ... when spoken to over the phone I was told two prices of two different tires .. one of which was 450 out the door is what I was told and the other was 500 out the door ... I was told that these would be the prices with labor mounting balancing etc. I arrive there and try to get the 450 tires and now they are changing the prices telling me it's going to cost me 500 anyway including tax ... I car led back to there customer service line and the guy wh originally said these prices to me are now changing them as well telling me that he told me about all of the pricing ... I ended up leaving there and spending around the 500 range anyway but I just felt that was bad business and the tires they were trying to sell me were dusty and old used tires ... had looked like they just pulled em off of a truck and want to put them on mine ... wouldn't recommend going here at all read more

Just like the reviews say! A good honest business. I asked by dad where to come for new tired and he said J&J. We live in Bellevue so I knew they were exceptional if my dad was going to drive 45 minutes to get here. They had the tires I needed in stock. They put them on same day with no appointment. I scored two tires with 80% tread for the price of one new tire. I will be back in a year to get the other two tires replaced! Side note- I was amazed that upon telling them my site size, he knew immediately that they had them, the price, and he could tell me the brand and condition of the tires. A computer can't even do what he did that fast. When you come down you will really see how amazing this was... The place has tires everywhere you look! read more

Owner Sold me tiers with rims that "gonna fit" my truck but They didn't . I had to drive all the way back .and he refused to change rims. So it waisted two hours of my day by trusting his confidence. I paid 100 for 2 tiers when shop up street by brown bear car wash only took 70 for same .. overcharging and bad customer service as well bad access. horrible access : busy lake city way on one side but Don't try to drive from back road ..extremely steap driveway probably 10 ft drop on 15ft of driveway. As a bonus, the used tire was a very good tire brand (Hankook) The transaction was quick--not more than 30 minutes.The gentleman who took care of me was very professional and knowledgeable. Came here because of a flat tire. This place took my spare off, patched my flat tire and everything for $10. That's a deal if I've ever seen one. Albeit the nail that punctured my tire was on the treads. So it wasn't anything tricky. But great service, quick service and my car is good to go for $10? I'll take that anyday. read more

Told me to come back to their shop just to waste my time, then told me to go to les schwab for their opinion which I did and TWO OF THEIR EMPLOYEES AREED WITH ME THAT IT WASN'T ROCK CHIPS. still wouldn't help me. Today I got a flat on my way home from work, I'm 15 weeks pregnant trying to buy a new (to me) car and move within the next 5 months, so spending an arm and a leg on tired is not what I needed today. I was stressed, luckily had a spare and my momma taught me good so I changed the tire and asked her to look around for cheap replacements. Les Shwab wanted 125$ discount tire 95$ and JJ's 45$. 45$ is amazing in my book and they were closing at 7 which my mom called at 6:15 and I was 20 min away. He said head on over and I'm typing this as he fixes my tire. Great tires, super friendly staff too. I had gotten a flat tire on a Sunday while I was on my way to work, and it was around 3 pm. Almost every single tire shop in the area was closed since it was a weekend evening. I was a little frantic at first but fortunately my hubby found this place on yelp, and they were open. I went straight there since when I called they said they don't do appointments, and to my surprise, they were extremely quick as well as affordable. They looked at the tire, and while the damage was not fixable, the kind man who helped me checked his inventory and told me he had that size tire in stock. I was amazed by the cheap price, considering the tire he sold me still had tons of life left in it and looked brand new. After about 10 minutes, he had it installed and had me on my way. Truly amazing customer service and really genuine people. I believe it is owned and run by 2 brothers. Don't let the location/appearance of this spot scare you away, you will truly not find better customer service or prices anywhere else. I would much rather support an honest local business and family than some big corporate facility who only cares about profits and upcharges for their product. I called J&J tires and not only did they have my front two in stock but it was half the price I paid when I had my back two replaced! They were so fast and very very very helpful and nice!
