Yesterday my car battery died, so I had a new one delivered and installed. Because it's a Volkswagen, the system needed to be reset so the car would recognize the new battery. The technician didn't have the correct scanner and told me to drive to the shop. My car was running perfectly on the way there. I parked, went inside to pay, and while I was in there the mechanic tried to clear the codes. When I came back out, I was told none of their scanners would work, so they didn't charge me for that part. However, when I got back in my car, there were no codes showing--meaning something had been cleared. As soon as I started driving, my exhaust was pouring smoke and the car was making clicking noises when I accelerated. I pulled into a gas station across the street and called them. They told me it wasn't their problem. I attempted to drive home slowly since I was only five minutes away, but my check engine light came on and the car started shaking. I had to get it towed home. This "service" cost me $500 for the battery and an additional $189 for the tow, and I'm now left with a car that is worse than it was before I brought it in. read more

Came in today around 3:45. I had ran over a tow strap on W Mukilteo Blvd. I came in and within 30 minutes my tire was patched and fixed. The lobby is very clean and spacious, great customer service and short wait time. Definitely will be returning if needed. Thanks you guys! read more

My car hit an object on I-5 near Everett an blew the right rear tire. I pulled off and found Les Schwab and pulled in around 5:40, right before their closing time. The fellow at the desk was very service oriented and quickly had the car being diagnosed. Unfortunately the rim was cracked so they couldn't make an immediate repair. While we didn't buy a tire, the service and attitude of their team was fantastic. They offered to let me hang in the showroom while I waited for the AAA tow truck to arrive. Thanks guys! read more

My "friends" over at Honda told me I had a nail in my tire that is unrepairable. So I took my car to les Schwab for their business because they always fill air into my tires for free. I came in fully expecting to spend at least $600 on new tires, but the wonderful people were able to fix the "unrepairable" tire and they fixed it for free as well. Such honest people and I will always take my tire needs to them! read more

What a disappointment. The normally very responsive, less Schwab tire Center had really bad service this morning. I've sat here for 20 minutes waiting for air in my tires, after checking in at the front desk . They are not very busy. I'm not sure what the problem is. read more

They started working on my tire / lug nut right away, it wouldn't come off and my tire was flat, they charged me nothing for that even though it wasn't easy getting the lugnut off, also the y ordered a stud for my missing stud on other tire and installed that next week, they put new lug nuts on all my tires , got rid of those decorative ones that freeze on the studs , thanks guys I appreciate you'all read more

JJ has got to be one of the very best people I met in this type of industry! I was driving my 70 cougar when I realized that my fuel filter was spewing fuel, so I pulled over to the nearest area which happens to be les Schwab. I open my hood and JJ walked up and asked if I needed any help, I said yes! A brand new fuel filter was available at O'reilys but I was too scared to drive my car around so JJ asked his boss if he could take me to o'reilys and his manager said yes! In addition, we can trust advice and what is done. Today was no different. Xander exhibited all the positive qualities stated above. We've also purchased tires here in the past. Time was taken to advise us on the choices that might suit our specific needs at a price point we could afford. I am truly impressed with the friendly, helpful service I received trying to buy tire chains in Whitefish. They were out of my size, but called the Columbia Falls store to hold a set for me. The bag holding the chains was slightly damaged, so they threw in a set of tensioners. Service! read more

I made an appointment to have my truck aligned, and when I went to pick it up I asked the man how it had went. He said "It was fine except your truck is a G** D*** rust bucket!" So. First of all, extremely rude. I just bought my VERY NICE truck from a man who had lived in Nebraska, where they salted the roads, and there is rust underneath. I have been slowly, as time allows, getting it all fixed, but even with surface rust UNDERNEATH I have a VERY NICE TRUCK. Completely unprofessional. I am paying you money to do a job, not express your unsolicited opinion on my vehicle that I saved up for and am spending considerable energy working on. Also, only one employee was wearing a mask. Scheduled an appointment online to get an alignment done and when I got there at the exact time and date as my appointment they informed me that my appointment was scheduled for a different time and day and I had to reschedule again so I didn't get my alignment done that day. Just to follow up on my last review, I did reach out to this Les Schwab on Walnut Street a second time, after being encouraged to do so by customer service. The manager and owner were not concerned with my loss of brakes on the freeway after an inspection at their shop the week before. They said the loose caliper that fell off would not have been caught by their "visual inspection." Once again, just want others to be aware of this shop's lack of accountability. I have been researching the new tire pricing from Costco, Les Swab and Hyundai dealer for replacing the original factory tires, which had 63,387 miles on the tires. Yesterday, I finally bought 4 Reputation tires from Kurt (manager) of Everett Les Swab for my 2016 Hyundai Sonata. We had a flat at the right front tire during the Oregon trip 3 years ago. Les Swab at Vancouver WA did the repairs without a single charge. Due to the aging of tires, the same tire had a flat again. Les Swab gave me a discount which $80 above Costco (Toyo) and $200 above Hyundai dealer (Kumho Solis). I'm OK with The original Kumbo tires (noisy) which have reached over to factory suggested 60,000 miles (was my choice). The reputation tires have exceeded my expectations (nice rides, quiet and performance). The other reason was Kurt and the crews are honestly, hardworking, dedication, quality, and just-in-time support. Yes, I support local shops! This Les Schwab store is the best! I came in today for my regular rotation, and mentioned that one tire had been little low (only 5#), and that I'd pumped it up. They did a water test and didn't see anything, but offered to take it off the rim, just to be sure. Glad they did, because they found a screw sticking through from the inside (not obvious form the outside). They fixed it right away and sent me on my way happy. My other reason for really liking them happened last year. I'd asked them to do a safety check, since my wife was taking the car (a Prius) on a 600 mile trip the next day. Just as they were finishing up, one of them sat in front to get the OD reading, and thought he had to step on the brake while pushing the Start button to display it . [note: you only need to put your foot on the brake to START the Prius] Alas, he didn't realize that another team member had a brake drum off, so his act popped the end of the cylinder off. When they reassembled the brakes, they were presented with one of the Prius's many computer error codes, and the car would not start. They got just about everyone at the shop looking at it, and called other shops for help. So far, to no avail. An hour and a half later, I realized that I would not be able to make it to my evening kayak race, and that my wife's road trip vehicle was in serious trouble. So why am I happy with these folks? Here's what they did: They rented me a car. They helped me to safely store my 22 foot long racing kayak in their back room (it was on the top of my Prius rack). 20 minutes later, as I was starting home, they called to say they had fixed it. They had worked with Toyota, got diagnostic tools and other experts, and completely did it right. When the mistake happened, they didn't beat up or yell at the guy who erred. Instead they worked as a team to figure out what happened and to make it right. They added Prius training to their regular curriculum. They reviewed it at their daily meeting and figured out other ways to improve their processes. They treated me with respect, were honest about what was going on the whole time, and let me in on the decision making process. Of course I was bummed that it happened (And that I missed my race), but their integrity and determination to provide stellar service really shined through. So, heck yes, I think this is a good place, They know how to make lemonade out of lemons! Oh yeah, and their tires are stellar. I've been buying Les Schwab tires for about 20 years for several cars - I figured out that my current set is probably the 10th or 11th set of their tires. I have bought 7 sets of tires here for my personal and commercial vehicles. I really don't know what has happened to this place the customer service is terrible now. I came in to have my tires rotated there was only a couple of people there so it shouldn't have taken to long I thought but I sat there for an hour and half while they serviced others vehicles that came it after mine. I think they were not in the a rush to do my vehicle since this was a free service. My wife went in with a leaky tire that they would not fix because "it doesn't have enough tread on it". Really they only have 20,000 miles on it and a 40,000 mile warranty on it. They wouldn't warranty the tire because they said they had not been properly rotated. They were happy to provide a quote on new tires. So my wife asked to have the spare put on and after waiting over an hour for it she went out and did it herself in the parking lot. If you value your life, do not go to this Les Schwab. They neglected to tighten my lug nuts after a mount/balance and my whole rim and tire almost fell off while I was on the highway. It was only a few rotations from completely coming off. I have a plate that covers my lug nuts so I didn't check them, but who thinks of checking that kind of thing when that's their specialty. I can't wait until they open on Monday. My kids could have been in the car with us!! read more

Had my car towed here late one afternoon for a pesky flat tire. I had previously been told that my locking lug was stripped and would require drilling and shop time ($$$), fearing the worst I put my trust in Kurt and his crew. I made phone contact with the staff no less than six times and each time I was greeted with a friendly voice and promises to get right on it first thing in the morning. I called the following morning an hour before they opened and Kurt assured me my car was first in line for repair. Within an hour of opening I revived a call from Jeff The Mechanic and he told me to give them 10 more minutes and the car would be finished. I returned to the establishment and finally met Kurt face to face where he handed me my keys, said it was no trouble at all and they weren't charging me. I was a lifetime LS customer, I purchased my last set at discount tire and had no problems with them. It had been so long since I shopped for tires, I asked 2 friends to help me. They both said LS may cost more but the service is better, discount now has hidden fees etc. So, on I went to LS, after being sent to multiple locations, I ended up at an Everett location, they put tires on my car for 850.00 they put all the paperwork in someone else's name and handed it to me in the LS package as they were closing and we headed out the door. I opened my paperwork and noticed they put put it on someone else's acct. I went back in, they were closed. It took a few hours of phone calls the next day and speaking to regional manager to get ppwk in my name. Today my rear tire is wabbling, called LS, busy for an hr so I drove in. They can get me in December 23rd! I called NG discount and they said come in we will take care of it today at no charge even though they are LS tires. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! Today pulling out of the shell on Everett Ave my Husband and I heard this tick coming from the driver's side tire so we pulled into Les Schwab!! Right as we pulled in we were welcomed by a nice employee who took one look at are new car and said we had a screw in are tire. Even tho they were busy they took the time to pull us in and fix are tire without any cost. I wish they could of taken a tip. What an amazing experience. I had a flat tire and was slightly freaking out. Standing in the rain after work in the dark, and I make the call. Cameron assured me Richard was on his way. 30 min. Later I was already back at their store! Not only was the experience quick and painless, Cameron fixed my flat and made sure my other tires were good to go. No charge either! What a great experience. I had a valve go bad on my new 2017 F350 dually with less than 25,000 miles. I pulled into this Les Schwab to get it fixed. I have the OE polished aluminum wheels on the truck. And, they scratched the face of the wheel up pretty good. When I brought it back to discuss the issue with the "manager" he said that they didn't do it of course. I told him they are the only people to have removed a wheel on this truck since I bought it. It doesn't even have 25,000 miles on it. He told me the wheels had been off this truck before. So, not only did they not take responsibility for their mistake. But, he called me a liar as well. This is a franchise owned location. I recommend staying away from this location and sticking to just the corporate owned stores. read more

Don't let them rip you off!! Go somewhere else!!! We've been getting our tires here for almost as long as we've lived in Everett(10yrs). Almost a year ago we had all the tires replaced there. About a month later there was a grinding sound that started in the back of the car. We took it to our trusted mechanic to see what was going on. Turned out there was a problem with the wheel bearing arm that our mechanic said "doesn't just happen" someone had to have done something to it for this problem to happen. The fix cost us $400 and it was only so little because our mechanic doesn't charge as much as most places do. I can only imagine how much it would have cost us if we had gone back to Les Schwab or some other place. Well today the hubby pulled all the wheels off to replace the calipers and wheel bearings. When he pulled the front wheels off he found that one bolt from each of the front calipers was missing!! Again that's not something that just happens, Someone took them out. They don't just fall out on the own and the last time the tires where off was at Les Schwab. That is just wrong!!! Replacing tires does not require anyone to touch your calipers or rotors!! Someone just lost our business!!! Don't let them rip you off!! Go somewhere else!!! read more

This is the FIRST place I go with car issues. Even if they don't do the type of work needed, they give you a clear honest assessment of what's going on. If they can fix it - this place isn't just about tires - they are fair, fast and reasonable. As soon as you drive in they run out to you and see what's happening, take your keys and have you go inside to be comfortable with eats, drinks and TV. I've never waited long enough that it became annoying or disruptive of my time. They make you feel valuable. Been a loyal customer for 20 years. They fix things free if its minor, like a rock in your brakes. They check more than what you came in for to make sure you're safe on the road. Trust them totally.
