This is my first time with Goodyear Tires to change all my tires. I got an offer from My USAA insurance so I thought I'd give them a shot. They had the most affordable prices in comparison with other Costco, discount tires, etc. We were able to make a next day appointment online, we dropped off car, within an hour it was finished. A few days later we had an issue with our front tires, I notified them they said just bring it anytime with no appointment for them to check the values and tire pressure, we pulled in unannounced the next day, go the tires checked dropped it off for them to replace the vaule and fix the problem without additional cost. It's a Saturday at about 4pm and we discovered a mysterious piece of metal in one of my wife's tires that was about a centimeter long causing a leak. All the tire shops near me are about to close. I called Goodyear because they close at 5:30pm and talked to Scott to see if they could maybe patch it. He said bring the car down and they'll take a look. Turns out it was patchable and they did so free of charge! They did not try to up sell me new tires. Scott and Kevin (technician) turned what would have been a crappy weekend into a great weekend! First time trying out Goodyear, Came in for an alignment and told them I did not want their 3year plan. Person at front desk kept asking why wouldn't I want that. I told him I don't plan on keeping the car. He then said why am I there for an alignment then. Didn't make any sense. I didn't let it get to me and continued with the service. 1hr later my car was done and as I get home I take a look underneath my sequoia and noticed my rack and pinion boot was twisted. This specific good year always comes in clutch. The guys in there are always nice and understanding. They explain in detail on what's going on with your vehicle and will leave a note on your receipt. Brought my Volvo in to check my tire wear pattern. Gentleman came out to my car, inspected all tires, reviewed and explained the alignment report done by the dealer recently. Very patient and thorough, took time to explain every to me in detail. I will come back in a few months for recheck and if I need new tires will be here! Wonderful personal touch. Have you ever tried to find an open tire shop on a Sunday? Madness! It's near impossible! When the tire on my Aztec essentially shredded on the 5, we called around to several places, all of which were closed, with the exception of Firestone, who told us they wouldn't be able to switch our tires (we have another set, just needed one swapped out onto the rim) until WEDNESDAY (um, what?) and Goodyear, who told us to bring it on in. The shop was fairly busy, and the gentleman that checked out the situation told us that they would try to get to us that day, but may not be able to, due to the sheer volume of customers. He said he would call us when it was ready, or to let us know if it wouldn't be done until the next day. We got a call at 4:50 that evening, letting us know that they were done, and asking if we could be there in 10 minutes as they were closing at 5. There was no way that was going to happen, we live at least 15 minutes away, plus trying to get out of our house is a whole heck of a brouhaha, and we told them that we just couldn't do it. They were kind enough to keep the shop open until we got there, essentially ensuring a fan for life. My experience here was totally opposite of the negative reviews I read. Everyone I interacted with was pleasant, the service was quick (less than 2 hour turnaround on a busy afternoon? Unheard of.) and the pricing was fair. I'll happily return. read more

I purchased a set of tires from this Goodyear, I specifically stated DO NOT put my vehicle on your alignment rack and check alignment because ii knew what the numbers were, after 1.5 hours of waiting I decided to see what was taking so long, I go outside and their technician was taking the heads off of my wheels. I said WTF? The front counter guy smirked and said well the numbers look good." Who gives a F..k I asked. I told you NOT to check my alignment he smiled and handed me the paperwork, I expected an apology from the manager, NOPE he stayed in his office, Eric is one of those cocky arrogant people that thinks his S..t don't stink, I went home to double check their work, tire pressures were 29 psi, 33 psi, 31 psi and 30,psi, we took off on our trip, vehicle shakes 62 mph-70 mph, when u spend 700 buks you expect the job to be done correctly. 3-4 ounces of weight on 2 of my wheels, Cooper tires are decent, so must be the incompetence of their technician. My vehicle never shook before it does now. BTW Goodyear, when your alignment is in spec, as long as u stay off the curbs, have no worn out suspension parts, proper tire pressure, NUMBERS DO NOT CHANGE I aligned my vehicle 1 year ago. My spec sheet matched their spec sheet, so don't try and screw me. Oh, you need an alignment, BS!!! I am taking my vehicle to LES SCHWAB and have them balance my tires correctly. I do expect a phone call from the owner, and I want a refund from Goodyear for the expense of having to rebalance my tires. MY ADVISE TO ANYONE ELSE THAT IS THINKING ABOUT GOING TO LYNNWOOD GOODYEAR GO ELSEWHERE so you don't have to waste your time dealing with the arrogance of the people working there. I had a nail in my tire and I called to see if they were open. I only could drive a couple hours with a large nail in so I needed to find a place to repair it before I went home ~40 miles. The voicemail said everyone was helping other customers and that I can stay on hold for assistance. I didn't bother staying on hold, I just wanted to know they were open. Since no hours were said on their voicemail, I drove there and they were closed. A simple way to provide customer service would be to keep your voicemail updated in case of emergencies. read more

Recently needed to have my car looked at for an odd noise I was hearing. The noise was similar to what I heard last fall when I needed the Serpentine Belt replaced, which Goodyear did for me. I set an appointment on the website a few days before and then used the afterhour drop-off. Was simple, quick and easy. They called me mid-morning to let me know that they had checked the car over and found that the serp. belt was fine but would replace it on warranty for my peace of mind. The noise turned out to be with my brakes, which they quoted me a fair price to replace. My car was ready just after lunch. When I arrived to check out, Scott B. assisted me. I had forgotten my Goodyear card, and he helped me get the information and deal with the customer service center. He was understanding, patient and helpful where the card service center was not. His assistance and the ease of service, as well as good work, won me over again. Thank you Goodyear!! read more

They do fine work, if you know exactly what you need done - I took my truck in for an oil change, then again to get new belts in, and again to get the brakes looked at. I asked them to look at my fluids - paid the bill and went on my merry way. My truck ended up blowing a head gasket, bad radiator...I told them the truck had overheated when the belts popped off. They just fixed the belts and sent me off. No bothering to check anything else. These guys are busy - open on sunday's - i get it, it's a shop...But why can't they bother to check the radiator fluid/level's AFTER the truck has overheated or DURING the oil change procedure? Now i'm sitting with a $2k job...obv I'm not doing it, the truck is just a loss...but it could have been saved if they had just checked...and considering the work i'd been in for, seems like it should have been part of the routine checks read more

They have a 90 day warranty on bulbs. Went to replace one of my car's low beam bulb that racked up $100. I get it, labor isn't cheap. But for a $20 bulb to last 4 months for approximately 3k miles worth of driving is just insane. Come to think that even the other bulb that came from the dealership isn't burnt out yet. Their customer service is good, but who wouldn't get frustrated with their parts. Update: Brought my car to the dealership. Turns out the reason the bulb went out was because of poor wiring that caused the wires to melt. Ended up paying a lot more, because they had to replace the melted wires and it was harder to remove the bulb with all that melted stuff. read more

Worst place to take your car! Brought it in because my car I presumed had a small oil leak. Brought it in and they ran a "diagnostics" on it and they said a vent valve cover gasket needed to be replaced and the oil housing gasket, figured they knew what they were talking about and so I had it fixed there. Cost me about $850.00. Not even two weeks later it starts smoking again I brought it back to Goodyear (because they told me if anything else occurs with smoking and whatnot to bring it back and it would be covered under the warranty) However, they told me somehow they may have missed a oil leak because "that's not what we were looking for" at that point I got extremely angry and said "what tf is it that you were looking for then?!" Isn't that the entire reason why I brought it in? Then they have the nerve to tell me it's not covered under the warranty because "it's a different kind of oil leak" WHAT THE FUCK GOODYEAR. DO NOT bring your car here guys, if anything I highly recommend precision auto tune in Everett, ask for travis he's great! read more

I needed to get an emissions diagnostic and they got me in and out the same morning. They were clear about what needed to be done and what it would cost. They also gave me a reasonable quote for a different issue and told me that one thing I thought needed doing, did not need repair. Like most shops the diagnostic fee does not apply to the repairs. When I dropped it off it was completely fine the second I start it after my oil change it makes clicking sound behind the dashboard. I called back and said that was completely coincidental and would take hundreds to fix and they had nothing to do it. My tires were completely worn through as I could not afford to replace them in a very long time. These guys replaced my tires, fixed my alignment, AND fixed my front brakes (which I had not realized were bad). I did not find them to be overly priced in comparison to other repair shops in the area (which all seem pricey to me), and the gentlemen I dealt with were very polite. We have an expensive set of Goodyear tires on our truck. After a small offroad excursion, a rock punctured the tire. We brought it to Goodyear since they claim to fix their tire flats for free. After wasting a half hour at drop off, and an hour or two of wait, they claimed they couldn't fix it. As far as I can tell, they didn't even try. But they did tell us we could drive to another Goodyear and buy a match for over $200. Why would we do that? We dropped the tire off at Les Schwab, and they fixed it within minutes. Les Schwab has never let us down, and we will never buy another set of goodyear tires. read more

Went to Goodyear to have a oil change...then it was brought to my attention my car was due for 60,000 maintenance... I knew they were saying the truth cuz all week my car gave me alerts, saying it time for maintenance.... So I chose to have Goodyear maintenance my car...their customer service was so pleasant and knowledge in answering all my questions without attitudes:) also due to the repairs taking longer than promised they gave me a discount....then when driving I told my son my car has so much power....
