I don't leave a 1 star review frequently, but this place is LITERALLY a scam. Absolutely unprofessional. I called ahead to ask if they could press a wheel bearing if I brought in just the hub, and the woman on the phone (Mel, Stef, something like that) told me yes, no problem, and that it could be done by the end of the next day. I made it clear it was urgent. I drop it off and suddenly she's not sure if they can do it, because she doesn't know enough about the process and people who know weren't there since it was late? I don't hear back the next day, so I call them around 4PM, only to find out they hadn't even touched it yet. Then she hits me with a $250 quote to press in a bearing on a loose hub. I'm a former master-certified mechanic with 8 years in dealership service. That job is a $40-50 job max. There's no excuse for that number except price-gouging someone who doesn't know better. I immediately picked it up and took it to B-Line Automotive, two minutes away. They did the job same day, on time, and charged me THIRTY DOLLARS. No stress, no confusion. The woman at Firestone seemed totally overwhelmed every time I spoke with her. This location clearly lacks competent staffing. Either you have a press or you don't--there's no mystery here. I brought my vehicle in because my front left tire wasn't holding air after a patch job at Les Schwab because I had a slow leak. Come to find out this morning. My tire was really low again. I tried putting air in it and I could hear the air coming out somewhere so I ended up taking it to Firestone And they showed me my tire had a huge tear in the side on the seal bead because the Les Schwab tech stretched it or tore it and didn't make mention of it. The tech at Firestone is awesome for finding that and I wanna make mention Mike at the front counter Was very knowledgeable. Helpful in getting the job done correctly. Simple headlight bulb replace resulted in: Pure Incompetence, Zero Communication -- Firestone Wasted My Time and Tried to Overcharge I made an appointment at Firestone to replace a low beam headlight on my 2013 Jetta SportWagen TDI. I was quoted around $20 for the bulb, and expected straightforward labor -- nothing unreasonable. I understand that some headlight replacements can be more involved, and I was open to that possibility. But what followed was a complete waste of time. They had my car for over an hour and 15 minutes before finally telling me they had to remove the bumper just to figure out which bulb the car needed. Not once did they engage me as the customer. No one asked if I knew the bulb type (I do -- it's H7). They didn't pull the VIN. They didn't even check the easily accessible passenger-side bulb to confirm. These are basic, common-sense steps that were totally skipped. Instead, they dismantled the car, wasted my time, and then quoted me $90 before tax for a simple headlight replacement -- over 4x the original estimate, without any explanation of the added cost. For comparison, my local VW dealership replaced the same bulb with an OEM part, labor, and tax for $60 total, done in under 30 minutes -- without pulling the bumper off. Of course I declined Firestone's service. The lack of communication, basic diagnostic skill, and outrageous pricing left me with zero confidence in their shop. Called for tire repair. Screw in tire. Says 2 tire repairs ahead of you. Shouldnt take long. One hour passes. I say been here an hour. Am i going to be here till 5pm close? No ill get someone on it right away. Takes my tire away. I wait another hour. Ask again. Am i going to be here till 5pm close. No almost done. Calls me half hour later. Tires done. Come into get it. Oh sorry mix up. Give us five more minutes. So after almost 3 hours i finally get my tire back. Hour before they close. To top it off i even tipped them in advance. Yes tipped them. Still over 3hrs for repairing screw in tire. My family said dont go there. They have no respect for peoples time. They were right. Michael, the Store Manager at this store was very communicative and clearly outlined the timelines and what/ how they are going to perform the repair and also kept me posted as it reached to the Jobs completion. I have used Firestone for over 13.5 years. This place was extremely fast and honest. They completed my tire change, replaced my sparks, alignment, and maintenance within 3 hours! The lobby is small but there is a coffee shop, fast food restaurant, and grocery store across the street to wait for your vehicle. read more

Made an appointment for 11am, simple inspection to see if anything was wrong. 4pm rolls around, I call in because I've received no information just to be told that they 'haven't started on my car yet, but they will soon.' I call back at 6pm (store closes at 7pm) because I need my car for the weekend, only to not be answered. So I head back to the store and asked in person. My car didn't get inspected at its appointed time, it did not get inspected at all. It was supposedly on the docket to be worked on next, at 6:30 pm (30 mins to close). I instead requested my keys back and when returning with them, attempted to give excuses like 'low manpower' and that someone had a 'bad back'. I'm sorry for the issues that you have, but if there is an appointment, perhaps what 'little manpower' you have should be working on the appointments in place already. read more

Our car's check engine light came on Rough idle, shaking. 2013 Elantra. Read the codes- didnt pop up anything I could easily fix. Started calling around. The first two on my list, Emily's and Fast Eddie's were both booked a little too far out. I hate shopping for a reliable car repair place Not going to try Craigslist...did that a while back and it was a disaster. Searched on Yelp and came across this place. Couldn't visually place it but I knew it had to be real close. The few other places I looked at on Yelp had a much lower rating. Called and got through to real person. Counter Person described the process and he was very easy to talk to. Shop was clean and not cluttered. Left my car and they called me a few hours later. Easy to understand great communicator. Some up selling but soft so I didn't mind it. Drove home.. car runs great. I think I've found my new place for auto repairs. read more

On 9/06/2024 my car was towed to this Firestone shop on Center Rd in Everett. Michael, the Service Manager promised to take care of what Firestone in Mill Creek failed to do. Mill Creek Firestone changed my oil BUT DID NOT TIGHTEN THE OIL FILTER!!! Because of this, it was discovered there was no oil on the dipstick, the oil filter was loose and my motor sounded like a diesel, which it is not! True to his word, Michael has addressed the situation and is monitoring the operation of my car. I would like to hear from a Firestone rep. How could this happen? An oil change should NOT lead to the possibility of a ruined motor!!! read more

Pretty disappointed with them telling me it was one thing charging over $300 and then less then 2 days later the thing they "fixed" was broken again. I was driving from Alaska to Utah and my car kept dying every three hours I went in and the said i needed a new positive cable but because it was a ford they would have to order a special part. Okay, cool lets get it done. When arriving to Utah 17 hours later the same thing kept happening, I called up a mechanic to come help me and the came and told me my positive cable wasn't the issue my fuse that connectes my started to my battery is cracked and not pushing the current through it. I bought a new fuse for $2.55 cents and haven't had a single problem with my car since. On a good note though the front desk gentle men was amazing, and was willing to call my father (in AK) instead of asking me question because im a 20 y/o Female who wasnt sure what he was talking about. read more

My wife went in to repair a punctured tire. They said it would take 2hours so she had a friend pick her up to do errands. They couldn't find the key for the lug nut so they somehow forced it off and ruined it. Then they sent my wife home with the wheel missing a lug nut and told her "it's totally safe, it was just decorative". Which is a total lie. It's not safe and definitely not decorative. They sent her to drive on the freeway from Everett back to Seattle like that. Crazy. Now I can't even put it back on because whatever they did to get it or deformed the nut so the key won't work. If they're going to send people off with a tire not fully bolted down how are people supposed to trust them with their brakes? read more

But I rest easy going here knowing the team will always go above and beyond. This time my brake system needed repairing..an over $1300 ticket for my rusting 2010 Prius. So I've generally had good luck with Firestone but this location is just awful. The staff doesn't pay attention when you tell them what you need (replaced the wrong tire, tested battery instead of replacing etc etc) then gets confrontational when you point out their error. The worst shop I have ever been in my entire life. The person who staying on reception to grab your keys, so unprofessional and disgustingly rude. When he was trying to tell me that my oils and fluids are leaking, I was trying to let him know that I have just spilled everything myself on the part, therefore he is thinking this way. He started yelling at me saying "what do you know about cars!", "Your car is bad " literally yelling at me and interrupting my each word I am trying to say to him. I have been in many shops in many states and countries, and for FIRST time in my life I am observing such rude customer service. I took my 2008 hummer h3 into your Marysville Washington branch ( Address: 17305 27th Ave NE, Marysville, WA 98271 ) for a coolant system check and repair on April 24th, 2024. Due to the parts needed my vehicle was at your shop until May 3rd, 2024. Upon getting my vehicle back, I didn't even make it home before my vehicle started overheating again and a new issue of the engine shutting down began. Upon pulling over, my husband and I pulled over and called the shop, in which the shop towed it back, said we now needed a new radiator, which was what they said was the cause for it still overheating. Therefore, we agreed to have that replaced as well. We got my vehicle back a few days later, May 5th, 2024, in which my vehicle still had an overheating issue. At that point I ended up in a disagreement with one of your employees because I asked what it was going to cost us to get it fixed as we had already put quite a bit of money into my vehicle without it being fixed and the shop telling us more things were wrong. Yet my vehicle's main issue was not fixed after bringing it back twice with the same overheating issue and a new stalling issue appearing. The guys were just trying to get more money out of us. They then said that the vehicle needed a heavier weight oil to run smoothly with the number of miles and the type of vehicle it was even though it only has 158000 miles on it. After getting the Hummer back in our possession we didn't have issues with the vehicle until recently when the weather started warming up. If the ambient temperature outside the vehicle is above 70 degrees and the vehicle is sitting at idle the engine will start to get warm and shut down. This is an auto shut off feature within the engine to prevent overheating. Upon speaking to other mechanics in regards and checking the parts put into my vehicle based off the invoices received, the wrong rated thermostat was put in. 08 Hummer thermostats have a start to open temperature of 187, where the one installed on my vehicle is a start to open temperature at 192, which seems to be the cause of the current issue. Your shop is telling me they will only do an engine rebuild, which is not the cause of the issue and seems to be going overboard as they have already replaced the entire cooling system and radiator, doing entire engine rebuild seems to be overkill because they utilized the wrong part. read more

I typically don't write a review but I will be looking into filing charges against this location. I came in for a flat in the front driver side. I had the two front tires replaced. Little did I know they swapped my back tires as well. This is not an issue since most places rotate the tires for customers to help with tire performance. The issue is the negligent of the person who did this because the person had the tire directional on incorrectly. This caused my car to skid in the rain and almost caused an accident. Mind that the paperwork I got after the service from this place say my back tires were still in good condition and the treads on the tires were still good. I wouldn't know this until I took my car into another shop to have them take a look at the car. The reckless negligent of this place could have caused a fatal accident so just beware. read more

After coming here for at least 6 years or so...The best thing i can say is ALWAYS take pictures of everything they work on, as well as your tires, so that way if something goes wrong you can hold them liable for the damage any of their mistakes cause. And DON'T use the website to schedule ANYTHING....as it will be "your problem that you used it " and you will be wasting your time as they dont actually schedule by it. If they do make a mistake, and you have to tow it back there. STAY THERE UNTIL ITS LOOKED AT IN FRONT OF YOU.....or they will fix it, and then be able to tell you "nothing was wrong, just this little thing was off and thats all, we fixed it and you good" making themselves not responsible for the rest of your systems components, that they may have been damaged due to their hurried schedules or mistakes. Ive been coming here for years....but now i am seeing the over all attitude of what happens when you get a lifetime alignment..at least the one in Everett....they treat you like your a freeloader something. These days I'd have to say use the Everett location with caution and document EVERYTHING with pictures that you can. If you are able.. id say mark all adjustments with a paint pen to see any potential movements if they work on your steering. When the job is easy..or actually done correctly at this place, you're good. But if they do mess up...it's YOUR problem...no matter what happened...even if your alignment goes out on freeway at full speed due to their own fault.....they will not accept any responsibility for tearing up your tires or damaging any components. Accidents happen...its ok...i get it...but so do consequences. I will forever be prepared and will document all future dealings when i have them honor the lifetime alignments i paid for, thats for sure. read more

Sent here by the Mill Creek shop cause they can take lowered cars and most other firestones can't. Anyways, they did my oil change and an alignment in reasonable time. My steering wheel was still slightly crooked so I took it back for them to redo the alignment, I was expecting having to pay but they did it for free! (About a week from the service) I will continue trusting these guys with my car. Update on the review, Tyler and I had a miscommunication with my alignment, long story short I brought it back the same day and he took care of me free of charge! Technically was my fault with the communication aspect but the fact he took me back and re-did everything was awesome! read more

Don't buy tires here. I purchased 4 new tires in 2017. Since then I've been back over a dozen times because my tires keep going flat. Each time I hear "oh the bead didn't set right, it's good now!" Then a week later the tire starts slowly going flat. They went as far to blame my wheel one time, replaced the wheel. Same tire is going flat. 3 of my tires have slow leaks and every time I bring it back it's the same old "the bead needed re set" story. I'll keep bringing it back because they warranty this slop, but I promise my next tire purchase won't be from them. read more
