I visited this location on two occasions recently. Originally, I needed a flat fixed on a car I had purchased 6 days earlier. Small nail, no big deal. Luke informed me that my tire was almost in the red and not repairable. I asked them to just put air in it, but he informed me it would "take just as long to put 4 new tires on there and we probably can't repair it." I went back and forth with him for a moment, but they conceded that it would be repaired and aired up. Since I was under the impression my tire was in the red, I made plans to come back and utilize the tire warranty from the place I purchased the car. Came back Monday morning and was informed by another employee, Wesley, that the tires were indeed fine and in the green and likely wouldn't be replaced under the warranty. Ok, that's fine. Wesley was kind and went through the process for me and did the leg work which ultimately failed at being covered. No big deal. I don't appreciate being lied to. I had TPS sensors replaced on my tires and the original spare replaced on my 2008 Toyota. After leaving my appointment both drivers side tires went below 10 psi after 10 minutes. The shop clearly installed the TPS sensors incorrectly. The tires are now likely damaged from being driven while rapidly deflating. Returned the next morning to have the leaking stems repaired. They did a quick job and one tire were still showing a slow leak. They said it was fixed again and tried to say I must have damaged it while driving yesterday. The manager claimed they would refund me but it hasn't happened yet. Watch them work on cars during a rainy day. Many techs leave the wipers on in the shop. Then they tell customers they need new wipers. My first appointment the wipers were going the whole time they synced the TPS sensors. read more

The service advisor asked my husband why he was replacing the tires and my husband explained we had a long road trip coming up and thought they should be replaced. The advisor (apologize did not get his name) informed hubby that tires we have are definitely still good and we didn't need new tires. There is at least one wall charger that is accessible while waiting. 3. Staff are friendly and professional. 4 Turn around time and appointment availability is good. 5. Communication during service is great along with the vehicle status text feature. 6. Competitive pricing. I recently came to this location to have a screw pulled out of my back right tire. Unfortunately, my tires were too worn to fix, so it was time for me to get all four. The young man I spoke with was somewhat knowledgeable. I respected his opinion regarding Michelins and Nitto and appreciated his recommendation. I was running a staggered set up with 315/30/20 in the rear and 275/35/20 up front. I had Michelin Pilot Sport 4 Max Performance Summer tires when I came in. With the winter season here, I wanted to try some High Performance All Seasons and decided on Michelin Pilot Sport All Season tires. The rears had to be 315/35/20 because they didn't come in the size of my original tire. I kept the fronts the same at 275/35/20. With a higher profile in the rear, the car rides much nicer. More rubber and air between me and the road to provide a softer ride. Only downside, they are a little less responsive due to sidewall flexion. But I prefer the better ride. Had a good experience when speaking with the staff however that is the difficult thing. The staff prioritize phone calls over customers in the store. Even with 4-5 people in line and the staff seem busy on their computers, if a phone calls comes in they seem to have the time to still answer the phones. Also the team did not put plastic on my old dirty wheels when they put them back into my SUV. They also didn't put my new 5th tire under for my spare. With a name like "discount tire" you expect kind-of a no-nonsense, inexpensive experience and that's pretty much what you get. That's said, Discount Tire TRIES... but just about everything was poorly done. Here's my experience with: Discount Tire's website, dealing with a warranty claim, making/tracking my appointment, buying tires, and the actual service. So, first thing I did was compare tires on Discount Tire, Les Schwab, Tire Rack... Les Schwab's website experience was pretty horrible - they didn't even have tire brands? Maybe they only sell white label tires... I dont know - PASS. Tire Rack isn't an installer, so you can pick and buy tires and ship them to an installer. But the prices were like the same as Discount Tire and Discount Tire had stuff in stock. Overall, Discount Tire's website was the better of the three - they had stuff in stock, online appointments, lots of locations, etc. So far, so good. Next... my tires were kind-of under a warranty, but prematurely worn. I bought the vehicle new, so I called the dealership first - they said the tires don't have any warranty. Boo. So, I also reached out to Michelin, the manufacturer of my tires (who'd usually provide a 60,000 mile warranty on tires that only lasted less than 30,000). They had a web chat and even though they don't technically offer a warranty on OEM equipment, they did give it to me. So, I got a case number and they said they'd just need to be inspected by a vendor and they'd prorate the price (so, if the tires went 50% of the warranty and the tires were $250, they'd give me $125 per tire off the purchase of new tires). That part of the experience was surprisingly painless and Discount Tires did make it easy to deal with as well (I just gave them the case number and let them know the situation). Next... I made an appointment online. It sent me a link to like... a Domino's Pizza Tracker kind-of thing online to track my appointment - okay, cool. Before I arrived, I tried opening that link again to check in... and it didn't work - it said "there was an error" and that's all. So... this didn't end up working at all, but they did send me text message updates about my visit (like when I checked in, estimated time it'd be done, and when my vehicle was done, it texted me). So, the texts worked. I came in for my appointment right on time and someone was available to help me immediately. They came out, measured the tread on the tires, got the odometer reading, and we went back inside. When I planned to come in, Michelin said I had to buy Michelin tires to get the discount, so I'd already picked tires and confirmed they had them in stock. So, that was drama-free - I chose the tires. However, they silently added "certificates" to my order, which I didn't realize until I was about to walk out of the door. So... be careful! I'll talk about that in a sec. The appointment took about 45 mins - I actually didn't intend to have them replace the tires, but they were available and I was, too - so, they went ahead and did it. They have a big open waiting area with about 12-14 pretty comfy chairs. They had some magazines with rims in them - which was okay. I assume most people just fiddle on their phones, so that's probably expected these days. Overall, this was fine. There isn't much in the area, but if you wanted to walk maybe 5 mins to Mod Pizza or McDonalds, you could. When the appointment was nearly over, I got a text message saying it was done. Maybe 2 mins later, someone parked my car, walked in, and handed me my keys and the receipt... and said my tires were filled up and torqued down. Kind of funny. But they handed me my receipt, and something that had been bothering me made me look at the receipt - the math just didn't math when it came to the price. I probably should have been more careful when I was actually paying for the tires, but apparently they can just add stuff to your order (maybe by default?) without telling you, so... sure enough, the "Certificates" which only give you 3 years of protection for $200 (including tax) seemed absurd. Like, two full tire replacements would need to happen for that to pay for itself... which is probably why they're so underhanded about it. It's the same on their website - they include these expensive certificates by default. I'm sure they're fine for some people, but it's just shitty, rent-seeking, pointless behavior. If someone doesn't even know they bought that... then they'd be way less likely to actually use it, which makes it 1000x worse. Absolutely crap. So... I walked back to the cashier, and they did refund it without any drama. I don't know what they'd do if you came back a few days later, though... So... what worked? Online appointment - good. Pizza tracker - bad. Text messages - good. Buying tires - bad. Speed - good. Trustworthiness - bad. However, when you're not trustworthy, it means I'm never going to come back -- why would I? read more

I got a flat, went for a new set since it'd been 14 years. Busy day, but they worked me in at noon, labor was cheap, and the tires are balanced and aligned with no damage. TAT only 1.5h. for a 25-minute job, I can't ask for better, considering it's Everett on a Thursday! If you are going in for a flat repair make sure you find out where and what place got punctured. I didn't and that left me vulnerable to them coming back and saying it was a sidewall puncture which is automatically a replacement with new. I just had them replace it with there recommendation of tire. I have a mini cooper that has run flats as standard equipment and the tire they recommended and installed was not a run flat. I will give this place six stars if I could, and not even because the scale goes up to high but because it would more accurately reflect to the actual score of this place deserves Kaleb more than took of me and was simply fantastic in every way. Here's why: I came in with a spare wheel on my car, I was not even able to purchase one of their tires as I am incredibly tight on funds, and so instead of the $50 that it would cost to both dismount and then mount my 14s tire on my Ford focus, because Kaleb actually took time to listen to my problem and thoughtfully deliver a solution... he immediately knew that I was a bit distressed since I was unable to afford it. Rajasthan telling me sorry and sending me away... he took initiative and decided to just do it anyway since I am desperately trying to leave tonight on a far freeway trip and it is not safe to drive with a spare wheel especially not on the front. There were some mistakes made which kind of threw a monkey wrench into my vacation plans. I won't go into all of the details, but there were some inventory management problems that resulted in a bit of my time wasted. That is all, nothing that couldn't happen to any company that has to acquire their product on an as-needed or just-in-time basis. Anyway, this particular store, were kind of caught up in the crossfire between HQ and them happening to be my home store. I've been buying tires at this store for something like 40 years and they must've known that because they made it right. I came away with a feeling, which I don't get that feeling much anymore, that they really and truly valued my business. I will be back and I encourage anyone who wants good tires, good advice, and good service, complete with a message driven information system during the purchase process, to head in to this store. We purchased wheels for our snow tires from here last December. It is time to change our tires over to our regular tires since Spring is just a few days away. Sadly, we forgot the lugnuts at home, which is an hour away. They are different for the wheels that have snow tires. We drove home to get them, which is a 1.5-hour round trip. Jason was very thorough with his explanations and reassurance. As I sat and waited, I observed great interactions between the staff and customers ranging from translation for Non-English speaking customer to taking time to review the issues with each customer at their vehicles. Despite being busy, at no time did the staff rush the customers in person or over the phone. My experience overall was very positive. I placed an order for four tires online, their site said it will be available in 3-5 business days. I payed and submitted my order. About an hour later manager from this location called me and told me that the tires were not available and that it won't be available for at least a couple months and that it is on backorder nationwide. He also said there are other tires availabale (more expensive ones) for me to choose from for my EV car. I found that odd so I told him to just cancel it. After hanging up, I looked online and found these exact tires in stock everywhere and found it at a lower price. The following day I called four other different Discount tire locations to verify if they are available for me to order, each and every one of them said yes. I still wanted to order them from Discount tire, so I ordered them from one of the stores that I have contacted and also got a price match. Tires arrived four days later and is now installed in my car. Moral of the story, do your research and due diligence. There are still honest locations out there, sad that some dishonest ones ruins it for most. Part of me hoped that it was a just a mistake on his part, but the facts is leaning towards not. After my previous disappointment (which still irks me) I decided to give this place another chance. After all, they replace tires, they aren't mechanics. (but still...they couldn't have mentioned it to me so I could take it to a shop for repair?) Anyhoo, since then I've been in a few times for new tires and have always received prompt and excellent service at a great price. So I thought it only fair to amend this review. I especially appreciate Jason who I believe is the manager. He's usually there and always is very knowledgeable about options for my vintage vehicles which increasing are difficult to find quality tires for. If you're on the fence, give them a try. Walked in on my only day off from work to get a set of wheels & tires and needed to consult with them on availability/fitment. I didn't make an appointment but I did call ahead to see if it was even necessary and was told to come in any time. Walked right back out after about 15min of waiting for someone to even talk to. So then this happened, I'm sorry we don't have any Goodyear eagle RS- A2 in stock so you have to buy 4 new Michelins, now I have 15000 miles on these tires so I was like What? So I asked if they would call the Lynnwood store and the sales guy ran back out to the bay, came back in and said my manager found one and they put on for almost $400, put it on the front and filled 3 PSI too much, now I would like to know if this kind of shyster salesmen shit goes on all the time there? The drive from AK to WA destroyed my tires so I ordered tires and scheduled the install for new tires online during my stay in WA. I checked that my tires arrived, and I called to see if they could install them sooner. I was told yes, and that the wait would be 2 hrs. 4 hours later... they finally moved my truck into the bay for install, then the manager came out to tell me that they had accidentally sold my tires (that I carefully chose based on AK driving conditions online) to someone else. They offered me an alternative that was quite a bit wider and more aggressive. I did not have time to research them, which is really concerning to me. This alternative set was also not ideal because I have two full-size spares that would be too small and won't work with them. In AK we typically drive for very long distances on our spares esp when on the Haul Road to Deadhorse, AK. Anyway, I had no choice because I needed them right away to get back to Alaska. So I got the tires and he also threw in one full-size spare that was supposed to be the same size, but it was not the same as the tires I bought, and they kept my old spare. I'm honestly afraid to look at what they gave me... who knows if it'll work. So they messed up majorly and tried to fix it. read more

I've been using Discount Tires for many years now and on multiple vehicles. I have always appreciated their wide selection of tires. Their website makes researching tires REALLY easy. You can see customer rankings as well as technical specs for all the tires. Discount's "Good, Better, Best" ranking also helps one narrow their choices. This was my first experience with the Everett store and I was happy with the service I received. Friendly, informative, professional staff and, while I walked in with no appointment, I was out the door within an hour. My only complaint about Discount Tires (and this is a complaint against the company, not the Everett store) is the way they price their tires. Several "fees" are added to EACH tire purchased and these fees take the price up almost 40%! For example, the four tires I purchased today were exactly $100/each. So you would think the total would be $400 + tax. Wrong! My bill was over $600! Environmental fees, disposal fees, install fees, and a "warranty" I did not ask for, were all added to my bill - PER tire. Just be aware of this when you are price shopping. Discount Tires is still competitive on price, but be aware of these extra charges and know that some shops do not charge that nickel and dime stuff. read more

I was searching online and calling places where I can get new tires. This was by far the easiest and quickest way I've gotten new tires. I ordered new tires online which were at a great price compared to many shops nearby, they shipped it over to Discount Tire in less than 2 days. They called me back to see if I wanted to wait a week or come in sooner which I opt for. Shorting my time from waiting a week to just 4 days. When I arrived, I can tell they were extremely busy but with the amount of staffs, they were quick on their feet. I got 3 of my tires changed in less than 30 mins! That's a record.
