Outgassing/Bubbles up to 3/8" in diameter all throughout the finish.

Do not take your wheels here!! I hired these clowns to powder coat my 19" Nissan wheels and they did the worst job I've ever seen on a set of wheels. They didn't remove the adhesive from the old wheel balancing weights and just powder coated right over it. They also didn't preheat the wheels prior to spraying them, so they have severe outgassing/bubbles on the finish. There are also area's on the wheels were you can see the old finish of the wheels, they didn't fully coat them. When I complained to the owner "Nash", he was very rude, and then stopped returning my calls. I'm fighting them through my credit card company now. I would seriously avoid this place at all costs. Their work is crap, their customer service is crap.

I don't write reviews, but I felt compelled to after my recent experience at Cascade Wheels / Factory Direct Tire Sales. Had my 15" steelies off my '63 Scout powdercoated and mounted on some new bias plys. Not only was the price the cheapest (3-4 quotes), the work was great and my experience was even better. Do yourself a favor and reach out to Nash! He understands how to earn your business for life. I will be back!

These guys were unbelievable! Took my car in on a Monday and got the car back on a Tuesday. They walked me thru my options and showed me different ideas. I went to just have the wheels painted but decided to also do the calipers. Very reasonably priced. I think they were just as excited with how it turned out as I was. Would recommend these guys to anyone!!

This is the whole story. It has a positive ending. Read on. Had never been here, but was recommended by my enthusiast group because one of our members works here. I showed up at 08:30 am and found the entrance on the backside of the building. The bay door was open, but no visible signs of life. I made my presence known and this short little prick came out of the back and greeted me with one of the worst attitudes I've experienced in a customer service environment. I said "hey, is JJ here?" To which he snappily replied, "No. He doesn't show up until 9 or 9:30". To this I replied, "So, do you want me to come back?" I asked him this because I could feel his disinterest in me being there. Even if I was looking to pay for their service. About 5 minutes later another fellow, Eric, arrived. Really nice guy, immediately looked at my damaged wheel, told me the prognosis and the cost. Definitely knows his stuff as he answered all of my questions. JJ shoes up a minute later and helped me get my wheel off and my spare on. 27 hours later, the wheel was done and I was happy. Big thanks to JJ and Eric! What happened to the short douchebag? I found out that he is THE MANAGER. BOO on that. If the owner reads this, he should give that turd a tongue lashing and a lesson in proper customer service. Or find a new manager.

Amazing shop. A little hard to find but if you follow the signs, it's on the right down the hill. I called in and got a quote/set up an appointment, and brought my car in on a Monday to have my wheels powder coated. They do everything related to wheels and tires so I didn't have to separate my wheels from the tires and car, I dropped the whole car off. The guy at the front desk told me it could take up to the end of the week because of their large workload, but my car was done in 2 days. They did exceptional work on my car and quoted/charged a fair price, including repairing the curb rash on my wheels. 10/10 would recommend this place and the young guy at the front desk.

    Before and after!! Excellent job!

Very nice job! Had no problem finding the place. Dropped off my black wheel from curb damage. They had it returned to me the following day! Great quality of craftsmanship and exceptional turn around rate. Highly recommended and will definitely use them in the future if I need to. Thanks again!:)

Both gentleman at Cascade wheels were outstanding. One was the manager. They offered to help numerous times by going out of their way, when I had to bring in wheels to put tires on. Great rates and always wanted to make sure I was safe. Highly recommend them. Will be continuing to bring my business to them.

    Freshly sandblasted and clean.

Doesn't $100 for them to take my tires off my rims and put them back on which is ridiculous already. And $200 to get my freshly sandblasted Evo 8 wheels clear coated. $300 all together. They clearly grabbed my rims with dirty hands didn't wash them and just clear coated them. And I also told them I didn't plan on painting them. So now I paid $400 all together with sandblasting to have clear-coated rims that look dirty and there's nothing I can do about it. cause cascade wheel can't take pride in there work. Than told me I should have brought them in clean that's not there job and lesson learned. Completely disrespectful.

    Lathe at the shop.

I felt bad asking the gal at the front desk if she wouldn't mind having the detailers go over a few more areas so it would look a little better, and she was kind enough to do so -- but it was still subpar. I didn't want to make too big of a deal about the situation, so I left. However, when I pulled over into a parking lot to look over the "details" on my car, I noticed many more things that weren't clean. Several areas hadn't been vacuumed, the tops and edges of the windows were still dirty, the wheel wells and side rails hadn't been touched, and the cover for my cup holder had some kind of dirt or dried cleaner all over the wood (which wasn't there before I dropped it off). The paint still had a rough finish -- they were supposed to clay bar it, but I don't think that happened, because whenever I clay bar my car it's perfectly smooth afterward. Even worse, they had sprayed so much water into my center console that there were puddles throughout the entire compartment, including on the battery at the bottom. Whatever solution they used on my interior dash caused a permanent defect on the plastic surrounding my gear shift. I did not receive a full detail by any stretch -- and in some cases, my car was worse than when I dropped it off. I rarely leave reviews, let alone negative ones, but I tried contacting David via phone and email 5-6 times and never heard back from him. He had one of his employees call me to leave a message, but even after I specifically asked several times for him to contact me personally, he never did. In my messages, I asked for a partial refund (as that seemed fair given the situation), but he never responded to that request either. His employee eventually left a message saying I could bring my car back and they would detail it again, but after this experience, I'm not comfortable leaving my car there. I wish David had cared enough to contact me directly -- ignoring my voicemails and emails is just bad business, in my opinion.

I have previously purchased tires from Factory Tire Sales in Edmonds, then switched to tire purchase and service from Les Schwab in North Seattle until that site permanently closed. I looked into quotes from Les Schwab in Shoreline and Edmonds, and also did not pursue service from Costco in Shoreline. I received strong recommendations from family and friends, plus looked into Yelp reviews that had me give Discount Tire in Shoreline serious consideration. I received decent customer service info and their website helped me with information, selection, subsequent purchase and scheduling. I was even squeezed in a day ahead of schedule and the tire installation was completed within 20 minutes! I was still eating my breakfast sandwich in their waiting area. The overall experience provided accurate information and decent selection for one's budget. I was able to set up an online account, compare tires for features and cost, and set up my appointment. When we talked about the tire replacement, the initial estimate was over $200 because I didn't have the previous purchase documentation with me -- I share the car with a relative, so I didn't have all the details on hand. I asked if he could take another look at the account, and he was very willing to do so. He took the time to go through the history, found notes indicating the contract was acceptable, and honored them once he confirmed everything. Subject: Formal Complaint - Service Failures, Misrepresentation, and Inter-Store Communication…read moreBreakdown To Discount Tire Corporate Leadership & Customer Relations, I am writing to formally escalate an ongoing service issue involving your Lynnwood (44th Ave W) and Everett (Evergreen Way) locations. This letter is intended to document the facts clearly, preserve the timeline, and provide Discount Tire the opportunity to resolve the matter before I pursue additional remedies. Timeline of Events December 17, 2025 I brought my vehicle to the Lynnwood location for a new tire. Prior to service, I explicitly asked whether black wheel weights would be used. I was told yes. Due to heavy rain at pickup, I could not immediately inspect the work. The following day, I discovered: * Black wheel weights were not used * A lug nut cover was missing * A valve stem was missing While the missing items themselves are minor, the failure to disclose them is not. Had I been informed at the time of service, this would have been a non-issue. December 18, 2025 I contacted the Lynnwood store and spoke with Ryan, who advised me to visit the Everett location to correct the issue. I specifically asked whether I would be "in and out," explaining that I recently had back surgery and could not tolerate extended wait times. I was assured that it would be quick. Upon arrival at the Everett location, I was informed the wait would be approximately 90 minutes. When I explained what I had been told, Norman stated that Ryan had not communicated any request regarding wait time or urgency. The unavoidable conclusion--based solely on the information provided to me by your staff--is that I was given inaccurate or misleading information to get me out of one store and into another. Core Issue (So There's No Confusion) This complaint is not about: * Black wheel weights * Missing parts * Even the wait itself It is about: * Failure to communicate material facts to a customer * Inter-store misrepresentation * A lack of accountability when errors occur * A customer being placed in physical discomfort due to inaccurate assurances At best, this reflects systemic communication failures. At worst, it reflects knowingly inaccurate representations made to avoid responsibility. Neither is acceptable. Business & Reputational Concern Discount Tire's brand relies heavily on trust, consistency, and word-of-mouth. Situations like this--especially when well-documented--are exactly the type that escalate quickly in public forums. I would much prefer to resolve this privately and professionally rather than explain, in detail, how a customer recovering from surgery was sent on a multi-store scavenger hunt due to internal communication failures. I am confident your legal, customer relations, and PR teams would agree this is not the narrative Discount Tire wants circulating. Requested Resolution I am requesting the following: 1. Written acknowledgment of the service failures and miscommunication 2. Correction or replacement of missing items at no cost 3. A goodwill credit or refund reflecting the inconvenience, time loss, and physical strain caused 4. Assurance that inter-store communication protocols are being addressed so this does not happen again Closing I have been a Discount Tire customer because I expect professionalism and transparency. This experience fell well below that standard. I am giving Discount Tire the opportunity to make this right promptly. If I do not receive a response within a reasonable timeframe, I will consider other avenues to ensure the matter is addressed appropriately. I look forward to your response. Sincerely, Tony Lynnwood / Everett, WA I am sending this to corporate and any other outlet I can use to spread the word until Resolved.

Overall Les Schwab is my go to because of their availability Mon-Sat, free tire air pressure checks, rotations, and tire evaluations. The latter has been a life saver when I've had punctures from nails and screws and the tires have been able to be salvaged by successful patch repairs. The folks at my previous location have provided peace of mind from their trustworthy and timely customer service. After a routine car appointment at my usual Toyota dealership back on 10/18/25, I decided to obtain estimates for new all weather tires from the Les Schwab in Shoreline's North City location afterwards. I was able to stop by and pleasantly greeted upon entry. After providing information needed to locate my centralized Les Schwab records, I was given a printout of various types of tires based on brand, mileage lifetime, and price. This allowed me to compare prices from Les Schwab versus my Toyota dealership which was very helpful. However, I am a bit wary though about pursuing further service here though after reading through Yelp reviews. It's a wide spectrum from either solid 5 stars to 1 star experiences.
