Stair rail

Ben was very easy to work with, he was prompt, and his price was reasonable. He was able to answer our questions with easy to understand explanations. The turn around time for our small job was very fast. We would highly recommend him! Connor fabricated and installed our stair railing. He showed up at the appointment time and spent almost 3 hours in our home. He was very polite and cleaned up afterwards. You would never know he had been here. Beautiful job!

I meant to write this review months ago. Ben and the team at Estate Iron Work were a pleasure to work with. Very professional and gave me complete confidence that they knew what they were doing with our project which included a pretty steep drop and a tricky 90 degree bend. Thor and crew did the welding and bending and it turned out great! It turned out even better than I imagined. I'd recommend them to anybody looking for something completely custom. I'm a firm believer in you get what you pay for and in this case it was worth every penny. Highly recommended!

Railing at front of house.

Estate Iron Work just finished a project for us. They did an amazing job on our new railing and stair rail. Ben was great helping with the design and it really sets of the exterior of the house. Adam was the project manager and installer and was wonderful to work with. If you need a spot on job these are the ones to go with. Thanks guys!

Eastside Kitchen & Bath

We hired Eastside Kitchen & Bath to renovate two bathrooms in our 1904 Victorian in Queen Anne -- a…read morefull primary bath with a clawfoot tub nook under a dormer ceiling and a kids bath with a tub/shower combo -- and they absolutely delivered. Drew, Alex, and Kate were all outstanding from start to finish. They were fair, clear, and upfront about scope, timeline, and budget from the very first walkthrough. No surprises, no hidden costs, no vague answers. When we asked detailed questions about framing, tile installation, and material compatibility, they answered with confidence and honesty -- including telling us when something wouldn't work or wasn't worth the spend. That kind of transparency is rare. The design documentation alone set them apart. Kate put together detailed material specifications, as-built plans, new floor plans, tile wall elevations, and full-color mood boards before a single tile was laid. Everything was organized, professional, and gave us complete clarity on what the finished rooms would look like. It made decision-making so much easier and eliminated the anxiety that comes with a major renovation. What impressed us most was how collaborative the entire process felt. Drew and Alex weren't just executing a plan -- they were thinking alongside us, offering suggestions that elevated the design, flagging potential issues before they became problems, and making sure every detail was right. They treated our home with respect and our vision with care. I did EXTENSIVE research before hiring Eastside Kitchen & Bath. They exceeded expectations. No crazy/scary remodel stories you hear -- if you have an older home in Seattle and want a team that understands the character of these houses while delivering a high-quality result -- Eastside Kitchen & Bath is who you want. We couldn't recommend Drew, Alex, Kate and the entire crew more highly.

I don't remember who I spoke to but I do remember that he said I would likely not choose them because they wouldn't be the cheapest. I don't know how or why he came to that conclusion in our brief phone conversation, but I told him I wasn't looking for the "cheapest", I was looking for the best solution. He scheduled a visit and did some measurements and we discussed possible options. I also let him know I was interested in kitchen redesign so that I could have a bigger fridge but he didn't seem interested and just went back to the powder room. When he was done, he said it would take about two weeks for a quote but I may need to reach out to him again. I asked if he had a card and he said no, then left. That was on June 11 and now it's July 28. If a business wants my business, they would send a quote. Maybe my little job isn't worth their time because business is booming, who knows. When your gut tells you they aren't interested, listen to your gut.
