From the very beginning I could tell that Tony knew what he was doing and was going to provide a quality outcome. He was very helpful in guiding us through the process and assisting in coming up with a plan that would provide the best value and long lasting results. He and his team removed my old patio and prepped for the new one (in just one day) and then installed new stamped cement for new patio and stairs. They also widened my driveway. He was not the cheapest based on my research but still reasonable and they did not approach me with any change orders even though we tacked on a couple items. It ended up raining after they sealed the cement and he came back and took care of me spots and made sure to follow up with me after every step of the project to make sure I was satisfied. He was very responsive to any request and available to discuss anything. Tony and his crew did an awesome job replacing my 550 s.f. driveway! They were on the job promptly at 7AM and had finished the demo and installed the forms by 9AM, when the concrete truck arrived. It was truly amazing to see the teamwork in action! It was truly a beautiful sight watching such a well coordinated team. They finished the pour and leveling of the concrete by 11:30 and went on a lunch break while the base started to harden. They came back and washed off the top for the exposed aggregate look and cleaned up. They were completely gone by 2:30pm. You would think that it's not possible for a construction company to a.) live up to their word, and b.) finish early. Well, I actually witnessed it myself. Tony was amazing to work with. He responded right away to my quote request and had one for me within 24 hours. He was consultative, talked through options and was supportive of my decisions. He fit me into his schedule, and I had a new driveway, patio, stairs and walkways within a week. He has a crew of 8 or so guys. They come in and move quickly. My backyard was ready for a pour within a day. My front yard the following day. Don't let the timing fool you. This is a high quality job. My neighbors have stopped by and compared it to work they had done by other companies. Top notch. For items that need to be moved such as potted plants and furniture, Tony's crew will do it for you. For anything you care about, do it yourself so you can carefully store it away during the job. I should have wrote this ages ago sorry Tony! A year ago we were getting a swim spa and needed to re-do our patio. AquaQuip who we bought the pool from had a guy. We had months before the pool was due so everything was peachy. Well the contractor we got from Aquaquip just had no time and kept pushing everything to the last second so much so we ended up having to scramble to a find a new concrete contractor. (Aquaquip yeah I'm writing a review on you too!) Found Tony on Angie's list and he is amazing. Nicest guy. This review is way overdue. I hired AAA Solid Concrete Construction to do a concrete job at my house for my home sports court. I could have not been more pleased with the entire process. First, Tony has got to be one of the most responsible people I've ever dealt with. The man answered his phone every time I called him, and also replied to my e-mails within just a few hours of writing to him. He showed great communication, honesty and integrity. He was on site working closely with the crew supervising the job himself. I was very happy with the quality of the work and the outcome of the project. We met with 2 companies to get bids for our concrete stairs and walkway in our backyard. Tony was the second company we met with and he got us a bid within 24 hours and fit us into his schedule the same week! Work was started before we even received a bid from the first company and when the bid came in Tony was a much more reasonable cost!! Tony saved us! Another concrete company messed up the job to the point that it would flood our basement when it rained. Tony felt so bad for us that he ripped out the entire previous job (25 tons of concrete) and redid it for only slightly more than the original cost. Tony's crew works fast and knows what they are doing. They don't cut corners and will make sure you are happy. Tony suggested a different shape than we wanted for the rear patio, which turned out better, so I would trust his judgement when you're setting up your project. Working with contractors and different trades can sometimes be challenging and a little intimidating. But Tony and his crew were professional, courteous and completely put my my mind at ease. Tony answered all of my questions and returned any phone calls quickly. We had a record rainfall this winter which put our driveway pour on hold for a couple of weeks. Anthony and the crew did a fantastic job at our home. They removed an aging deck and lay a new concrete patio for our home. The whole process was very well planned and he gave us estimate on the work schedule before beginning the work. They were very punctual and fished the project on time. The patio required quite a bit of concrete and with the location of the house and the fences, they had to wheelbarrow concrete from the truck to the patio location. I don't know who many wheelbarrows they transported, but I did not see a single drop of concrete on our drive way or on the lawn after the work. The finished patio is beautiful too. read more
