I contacted Glassic mid 2023 for a relatively large house remodeling work. Mehdi was very communicative and quoted me a decent price for the whole work. I got bids from other companies/contractors and I chose to go with Glassic due because he and his business partner Farshad (from a company called Hero Builder) seemed promising. We got the following work done from them - Remodeled 3 bathrooms - Installed hardwood flooring on the bottom floor - Painting - Removal of popcorn ceiling - Addition/moving of a couple windows - Replacement of all doors - A few other relatively minor updates Overall, we are very satisfied with the work that was done. The only things I wish went differently were the pace at which the work was delivered, as it took them a couple months more than estimated, and the finishing of tiling work and painting wasn't the finest. But keeping these two things aside, I was very pleased by my choice of going with Glassic. Mehdi is an awesome guy who will sometimes go above and beyond to make his customer happy. We had a wonderful experience replacing all the windows in our house with Glassic. Medhi (the owner) is an exceptional professional to work with, great communication, very friendly and respectful. He was always on time, didn't skip a day or started another job during. He works methodically, use high quality material and tools, cleans up at the end of each day. He did everything he said he would and more. As an example, he installed two windows and we later changed our mind and wanted them installed differently. He said no problem, smiled, took them out without hesitation and reinstalled them. It took him a few hours, but he wanted to make sure we're 100% satisfied. We also found some unrelated siding issues while he was working at our house and he was willing to take on that project to help us out. Should you hire Glassic? If you're looking for high quality work, willing to pay for it (he isn't the cheapest), and OK with the work taking s bit longer - go with Glassic!! Medhi does the work by himself with one additional worker, so you're dealing with one person from start to finish. He would install any brand and model of Windows you want (If you want something specific, it's mostly up to you do the research, but he's flexible and go with your choice). Alternatively, you can go to with a big company with many vans and installers. It will go faster (but not necessarily cheaper), and you might be limited in what brand of Windows to go with. The person who'll give you a quote won't be the person doing the work. There will be multiple installers working in parallel, so faster but lower quality control. Meti (the owner) is quick to respond and it made the whole glass replacement process quick and simple. They first came to my place to take measurements and get a scope of the work that would be needed to be done. Meti was extremely responsive and worked around my busy schedule. He replaced two failed IGUs for a price that was at least $75 less than some other glass companies I contacted. Even though the manufacturer that made the glass replacements made a mistake, Meti apologized (even though it wasn't his fault) and rush ordered new panes to be created. I hired Meti to replace ten windows in our house in July. Pros: Meti was easy to work with. He came right out for a quote, communicated really well, and was always pleasant. The quality of work was good and the new windows look great. Meti did full frame installs and the exterior of the house is certainly more attractive now. Cons: He's not the most organized, which ended up costing me time and money. His initial quote was lacking in detail, and it didn't include manufacturer, energy ratings, etc. I specifically asked him about the PSE energy rebate and he assured me that all of the windows would qualify ($500 total). Once the window install was done I applied for the rebate. I didn't have all of the right paperwork from Meti (and he didn't have it either) to verify the energy ratings, so there was a couple of weeks worth of back and forth to get the necessary details to PSE. After that whole process I waited some more because PSE (rightfully) flagged our application for an onsite audit. After that PSE told me only two of the windows qualified anyway, so I got $100 instead of $500. At least some of this is my fault because I didn't do enough research on what I was buying. I did at one point get the manufacturer and looked at the windows online before buying, but on account of Meti's assurance I didn't verify the energy ratings. I might have opted for the more expensive windows had I been able to get the full rebate. Live and learn, I suppose. read more

Meti at Glassic was wonderful. I had a large broken pane on the top of a challenging gabled greenhouse/garden kitchen window. I got a quick response to my quote request, then he came right out to take a measurement and gave a more firm quote that was very close to his original estimate. He accepted a small deposit, ordered the piece, and quickly scheduled an install. He showed up early, was tenacious in removing the damaged glass, and cleaned paint off the remaining window. Instead of having the replace the whole window piece for over $1000 plus installation, the whole project cost me $240 including install. I had a aluminium-framed patio door which did not conserve heat well in my master bedroom. I want to replace it with vinyl-framed patio door. About 1.5 months later after the down payment, the patio door was replaced. The handwork is meticulous and the seal is properly done. I needed the door between my garage and my house replaced on short notice, and moreover, during the holidays. Mehdi was available to come to my house the next day to give me an estimate and he explained to me that in order to be up to code the door needed to be upgraded to a "20 minute fire door." In addition he gave me an estimate to repair the adjacent drywall that likely was damaged by the previous owners' dog. He and his associate were available to do the work the following day, making sure every nook and corner is tight and that the door works as smoothly as it should, and they went to great lengths to clean up after the job. They were courteous and professional, both in their workmanship and in implementing CoViD-19 health & safety measures, and completed the job to my fullest satisfaction.
