My great experience with Energy Exteriors NW started this year at the Seattle Home Show when my wife and I met Eric Gramonte. We had met several window people at the show, but Eric set himself apart by being truly knowledgeable about his products and his demeanor put my wife and I at ease. We set up 3 companies, including Energy Exteriors NW, to come to our home and give us bids to replace all of the windows (13), our French Door, and sliding door. Again, Eric set himself apart by giving us an all inclusive, straight forward, no baloney, and highly competitive quote right off the bat. One other company was over $10k higher! The second was several thousand higher even with the exact same windows, but lowered their price (and content of their offering) to get more competitive with Energy Exteriors NW. They actually, eventually beat their price, but we went with Eric. We ordered all Milgard Trinsic V300 for the windows and slider and the Ultra C650 for the French Door. Our order actually came in early so our installation was moved up 2 weeks. Raymond, Zack, and the rest of the installation crew were total professionals. Installing windows and doors is a messy business, but they managed to keep our home about as dust free as you could hope and the area around our home was equally tidy. They had the use of our guest bathroom and you could hardly tell they were there. They were quick and efficient craftsman that did an amazing job of making our home and our windows look like a million bucks. The installation took 3 days. We couldn't be happier! We had our entire house resided with Hardie board and couldn't be happier! Erin was professional, prompt and great about answering all of my questions (and I had a TON of them!). This was by far the lowest quote we got but it was that and the professionalism that made us choose them. The crew was great - fast, efficient and very, very skilled with Hardie board siding. We had several other projects done at the same time and each contractor commented on how well the Hardie was being installed. They kept us informed and communicated well when there were questions or decisions to be made. The entire project was done in six working days, clean up with thorough and we are 100% satisfied with the results. We had two windows replaced and two new windows cut into a room in our house. You wouldn't even know the two windows had been replaced if I didn't tell you. The two new windows cut into the room look amazing! The entire process was so pleasant and everyone was great to work with, from the initial site visit and quote to the team working on the house. Everyone was great. They completed the job on time and didn't leave a trace when they were gone. The windows actually arrived early from the manufacturer and they were willing to come and install earlier but the family schedule didn't work so we did it as originally planned. Great experience, highly recommend their work! See the attached pictures of the windows they cut in but note they don't paint so the trim is off color because it is primed. I could only find two contractors serving the Snohomish County and Camano area that do carpentry and windows. Good Guy Windows did an excellent job of removing four windows and the walls between them and filling that space with a three part Milgard window (picture in middle and a vertical slider one each side). The project included wall demolition, installing an 11' header, installing the window unit, and trimming. Trimming included new exterior casing and caulking, and removal, modification and re-use of interior paneling, liners and casing. They ripped the liners because the new window is thicker than the old ones. It took four men about seven hours including a break and a trip to Cascade Lumber when it was determined a header was needed. Job well done. Yes, good guys. Project done in March of 2018. read more

We recently had our windows and skylights replaced by Energy Exterior NW. The windows got replaced sooner than estimated time given and they have the best price out of a few companies I requested quotes from. Erin and her team are great to work with. Note: if you plan to replace all the windows in your home replace while it is still cold out like we did, make sure you have a warm room or place to stay because your house will be completely open, cold and loud! Earlier this year, my husband and I had all our single pane windows replaced with double vinyl in our recently purchased home. We received quotes from a few different companies, including Good Guys who came recommended by a family friend who'd used them some months earlier. Good Guys came in with the lowest bid and friendliest service, and we're happy they did the job because a great job they did. Most of the work was coordinated and took place with us living two states away, but Rob was always readily available and kept on top of things to make sure the project went according to schedule. It was annoying that we did not receive confirmation of the work being completed other than getting our final invoice emailed to us, especially since there were a few things the installers left unattended, but Rob was prompt to tend to our checklist and extended his apologies. They were very professional and asked many questions to ensure my needs were met for budget, quality, CCRs, etc. other companies tried to upsell me and sell their "standard one size fits all" Windows and doors. I contacted this company online to change nine windows for a 1960's house in the Bothell/Kenmore area. I got a response very quickly and made an appointment with Dan to measure the windows and get an estimate. I was very pleased with the way business was conducted, and proceeded to set a date for the job. A couple of weeks later, Dan brought me a sample window and the trim for the windows to have it ready for the installation day. I told him I wanted a wider trim, and he accepted my request immediately. The day of the installation, the crew arrived on time and worked all day carefully, starting by the front of the house. The first day they installed five windows and left the house clean and ready for the next day. The second day they did the largest window and the back windows. I was very happy with the way the windows looked. The house gained a lot in personality and now it looks much newer. Dan and his crew were respectful and completed the job in time.
