We've had Aaron and his crew out to do three different projects now. He's the consúmate professional -- a clear communicator who follows through on his commitments with exceptional work. He neatly knit new brick work with our house's existing brick facade and the transition is barely noticable; saving a wall that was at risk of falling apart. A few weeks later, he poured us a new front landing to replace cracked and sagging field stone and ensured it was graded properly to repel rain from pooling by our door. We, and likely Aarons competition, would never think of such a small, but incredibly important detail. Most recently, he replaced a concrete sidewalk that had buckled and sagged. Because of their efficiency and skill, Aaron and his team were able to do the demolition, prep work, the pour, and the finishing touches in the space of a single day. We've been frantically picking up the pieces after a botched project by our contractor, and after realizing he left gaping holes cut out of our brick veneer with absolutely no structural support, we contacted AB Masonry in a panic. Aaron was incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, and kind, and offered to swing by in the next few days to shore up the brick until he had time in his schedule to properly install a steel lintel over the opening. His crew came out the very next week to install lintels and re-lay all the jagged and haphazardly sawed brick. They even managed to find off-white brick that almost perfectly matched our painted house. Aaron and team never showed up for the job. I had to send a number of emails to lock down a date and time and then they never showed up. I sent follow up emails to which Aaron did respond apologizing for the missed date (someone on the team was on leave) and confirming they'll definitely send me a new date within a week. That also didn't happen and Aaron never responded to my follow up emails or voicemails. This was a poor experience and I can not recommend. I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 because initally Aaron was fast to respond and came out quickly to assess our broken stone wall and to provide a quote. read more

I called AB Masonry to fix my cement block retaining wall that someone ran into. I was slightly hesitant since they didn't have a lot of reviews but decided to take a chance. I'm really glad I did. Aaron was very responsive and very professional from start to finish. It wasn't a big job but he treated it the same as if it was, communicating well and working it in between his bigger jobs. AB Masonry did a great job replacing old concrete stairs with two sets of stone landscaping stairs in my backyard. They look great and match the house well, thank you! Another thing I find impressive is I first contacted them 3 weeks ago and they are done today. That's fast! (Compared to other contractors who are booked for the whole spring and summer.) All of the email communication and status updates are also appreciated. (Sometimes, playing phone tag with others is more difficult.) Another thing I like is how they clean up by sweeping or hosing down the area each day. I will ask for their help refacing and fixing cracks in our chimney as well. read more

I was looking for a company that could repair a failing brick retaining wall and re-grout our brick stairs. After getting estimates from three companies with varying prices I decided to give AB Masonary a call. Aaron came out and looked at the brick wall, stairs and the stairwell and sent us an estimate. We decided to go with Aaron and we're so happy we did. Our biggest concern was matching the brick with the rest of the remaining brickwork. Our house and all that brick work was built back in 1975. Aaron located some brick near by in Bellevue but wasn't enough to complete the job. He located more brick in Spokane and took a day and drove over there to pick it up. That's going the extra mile to get the job done in my book especially when the pass was a mess. The wall is beautiful and much stronger than it was originally with some additional things he did to add longevity to our new and improved brick retaining wall at a fair price.
