Andrew's team did an amazing job on my 88 year old house. The 9' and 10' original lintels over the front window and garage door were badly rusted. The brick wall had developed significant cracks zigzagging through the mortar. The replacement process was quite involved as 1 or more feet of the wall above the lintels had to be removed. When they came out one of the lintels had rusted to the point that it could be bent by hand while the other had holes. Over about 3 days they replaced them and put back the original bricks. Now I can't tell that anything was ever wrong with the wall. The new mortar is a perfect match for the original. I have recommend Brick by Brick to a couple of other neighbors. And I'll be calling them back for other window and repointing with in the future. read more

Andrew and his team did a great job fixing our brick chimney. We were concerned that it needed to be torn down or completely rebuilt, which probably would have been outside of our budget. But Andrew took the time to explain how our chimney was constructed, and what our repair options were based on how we wanted to use it. We used Brick by Brick to perform tuck point repairs to our old chimney. It was not in danger of falling, nor was it off center but the mortar was old and there was visible spacing between bricks... enough to concern us. Communicating with Brick by Brick was easy. Unfortunately, we decided to get our chimney worked on during the winter which is when people notice leaks so booking Brick by Brick was tough. Glad we waited though because his (Andrew) crew were professional, timely and kept the outside of the house (relatively) clean. While they were up on the roof, they noticed our furnace chimney needed a partial rebuild. They performed the work in sub zero weather for a very fair price. We decided to redo our fireplace this winter and ripped the old one apart before realizing how busy every mason in the city was. Most masons were booked out for 4 months or so, some wouldn't even talk to me saying they just weren't accepting new customers. Not Andrew from Brick by Brick.
