Edder poured a beautiful brushed-finish 10 x 12 concrete pad for our hot tub. The final product was great, but perhaps more importantly Edder was punctual, communicative and responsive to our requests, and efficient and conscientious in his work . EGM more-than-delivered on their promise; did great work; and saved me money. What more could you ask for?? Edder actually ended up making our concrete slab thicker to increase the integrity of the final product without even moving off their original estimate (he ate the cost of the additional concrete). This impressed me. We have had concrete work done by others and it was disastrous, up to and including the other folks leaving a big mess of solid concrete waste on what used to be grass. Because we were burned before we were concerned about EGM, especially considering EGM has so few reviews. We had pretty much made up our minds to go with another outfit, but for peace of mind I decided to do one last round of quotes. EGM beat the quote we had and agreed to do the job on basically 24 hours notice so we could keep our original construction schedule. I was impressed with how hard the guys from EGM worked - - 8-10 hour days in some trying conditions (rain, rough surrounding terrain, etc.). The first thing I thought when they finished was that I wanted to be sure to give them a good review so that people give EGM a shot. Edder replaced old wooden steps leading into the house and to the backyard in my garage. He also did some patching work on the walls around the garage doors where it used to be chipped ugly when the doors got installed in the first place. Edder gave me a competitive quote, was very respectful, arrived on time and did everything to make me completely satisfied as a customer. Specifically, had to re-do the 3 steps leading into the house until it was ideal. At first, it looked nice except the lower steps turned out to be shorter than the top one. Then, he tried to fix it (+1 day of work), but it didn't look quite uniform. At last, Edder rebuilt most of the structure (+1 more day of work) by chipping large portions of it, adding extra bars and metal mesh to make it perfect, solid and uniform. He kept his word to not leave until it's done right and Im happy with the result. Mistakes sometimes happen, but what puts some contractors apart is the willingness to respectfully listen to reasonable feedback and address it to make it right, even if it takes significant time and effort. read more

When my dirt guys saw the slab Edder and his team did for me they made it a point to say i got really lucky having Edder do it and asked me for his card. Through the whole process edder was really communicative, flexible with planning and willing to help me reach my goals. I wanted to do the slab, but wait on the ramp and add it later, add some extra rebar here, change the cement to fiber, run things through the slab, and even at the last moments edder just said lets make it happen.
