The estimate was spot on. There was a delay in delivery of the part. They kept me updated.

Brought my car into the shop 8/8/24 (check engine light) Diagnosed as spark plug wire set needing replacement. Billed over $500.00 - 3 and a half months later, again with the check engine light. Diagnosis, cylinder 4 misfire and spark plugs were not the right ones for my make and model of car, and they were gapped incorrectly. So they replaced the spark plugs. Soooo, wouldn't it be safe to assume that when the spark plug wires were replaced in August that also the spark plugs themselves should have been at least examined? Due to this oversight I was charged $330 in labor on both occasions. I know this may sound like a valid mistake, but after the first repair the car was noticeably still not driving smoothly. To make matters worse, the second time I brought it in was before the Thanksgiving holiday. It was supposed to be serviced before the weekend started but I didn't get a call about it's condition until almost 5 p.m. Wednesday, meaning it would have to sit in their lot for 4 straight days over the holiday weekend. When I went to pick it up the following Monday my car stereo with 9" display for back -up cam was gone - stolen by a thief who gained entry into their lot without so much as a video; guard dog; security guard; or motion sensor alarm going off at their property. No signage exists telling the customer that they aren't responsible for vehicles left overnight - even when the facts dictated that very necessity once the work was put off until late Wednesday night. They are taking no responsibility, nor are they even considering reducing my bill or compensating me with a coupon (at the very least). Not happy at all with this shop read more

The 2 stars is strictly for customer relations. They didn't fix my car, supposedly didn't need to. I thought air from heating and cooling system(s) wasn't getting to car interior but they found no problem. They didn't tell me how they discovered that, instead I got a call to return to the shop. No explanation given. As it turns out the guy at the intake desk wanted to teach me a lesson on how to operate my heating/cooling on my dashboard. My knob settings were off so I received a subtly sarcastic lesson in how to operate my car that I've had for 13 years. He was expertly condescending. I've had this ventilation problem for a couple of years, but instead of talking to me about the history of my car or giving me a report on what they found after inspecting the internal system that drives the ventilation, I get a lesson on how to operate my dashboard. I suspect my gender and age has a lot to do with his attitude, but I can't prove that. IMO this shop isn't a great place to take your car. read more

These guys are AMAZING. Took the partner's car to the dealership with some codes, but they wanted over $2k to fix it. Not only did they do the job that was told to us would fix the issue because it needed to be done anyways, they actually discovered that the dealership mis-diagnosed and lead us wrong the wrong way. In addition, they freely diagnosed an additional problem that the dealership wanted $200 more to investigate. In the end we got 2 jobs done for the price of one at the dealership, and with double the warranty. They even got us in quickly, which was desperately needed. We will come back to this place for any future problems on that car at least. read more

My go-to mechanic! I appreciate the friendliness and expertise of the employees. I have brought them multiple cars throughout the many years and they have gained my trust. They are always packed with cars yet they seem to work fast - even with large jobs. They give honest advice. Not only that, it's the cleanest and coolest office and waiting area I've ever seen. It displays vintage motor decor and a museum-worthy collection of toy vehicles- especially drag racing cars. Even inside the mechanic's shop is clean & loaded with decor that will take you back in time.Their prices are fairly priced according to the market. Truly, a gold nugget mom & pop shop that Mator would be proud to go to when he needs an oil change or Andy Griffith would take his patrol car to be serviced. read more

I was recommended this place by several people and saw they had good reviews. They did keep up with me on what my car needed but ultimately it was still too expensive to fix. My car sat on their lot for about a week and a half. They told me they check to make sure the cars are locked every night, but this must not be true. My car had a random umbrella that wasn't mine, all my change gone, and my expensive pair of Ray Ban sunglasses stolen. Not only that, my good working car battery was now dead and my car won't even start. I told them this and got brushed off. Like a "that sucks, not our fault". I paid almost $300 for a diagnostic to have my stuff stolen and battery drained. I do not recommend this place. read more

I usually work on my own car unless it is a big job. But I recently moved into an apartment, so I don't have the space anymore. I have found the best place to get repairs done. Ryan at the front desk is one of the most professional and honest person I have ever met at a repair shop. The techs do high quality and in-depth diagnostics and get the job done right the fist time. I was blown away by all the ways they try to add value by going the extra mile. For example, Ryan battled with a parts warranty on my behalf for a long time to try to get me the best outcome. Most people would just accept the warranty was not going to be honored and leave it at that. He reached a compromise with the part manufacturer for me. Saved me HUNDREDS of dollars. I took my 2003 Mazda 6 in to get the bearings replaced this last summer, and I was set to go on a solo road trip by myself a day or two after, so of course it was important that it get done right. I took it in, they replaced them in about 3 hours, and after that, they were worse than they were before I brought the car in. They did wind up fixing it after that and informed me that they did not press the bearings down enough so they were loose.... Poor work all the way around and I know many others who have had similar experiences where they take their cars in and get them back in worse shape after. read more

They say that it's how you handle bad news is what makes character. This was certainly my experience with Evergreen Auto Repair. I took my wife's Honda CRV into their shop after the check engine light came on. After dropping off the car overnight, they called the next day saying she needed a new catalytic converter. Sucks, but they were very professional about it and the car was over 200k miles, so it was probably time for a new one anyway. I got a phone call the following day, and they said that the car was ready, but that a ladder had fallen on the car, and had dented it. They admitted fault, were very apologetic, and make a promise to correct everything. They set me up with a rental car while they took it to the body shop, and got it back to me quickly, taking care of everything. A less credible or honest mechanic would have tried passing it off as if it had happened to the car before we brought it into the shop. Ryan was honest, professional, and has set a new standard for customer service. I will be coming back to this shop for all my auto repairs. read more

I've been extremely pleased with every experience I've had with Evergreen Auto. I first took my 07 Lexus IS there after I had a horrible experience at another shop refusing to take on warranty claim. They fixed it no problem. More recently I took my 07 MDX they originally quoted me $1700 for a timing belt tensioner issue. Later on they found the issue wasn't as bad and adjusted the price accordingly. Most shops may have just charged me the originally quoted price anyway. It is extremely hard to find a trustworthy mechanic. These guys definitely earned my trus. read more

3rd try is the charm. What I mean by 3rd try is this is the 3rd auto repair business I took my 99 F150 for repair that actually fixed it. This place is up front with you and confident of their ability to get the job done right. They said they would get started on it the day I scheduled. Within 25 hours I received a call with the results. It's fixed. I had used this shop a couple years ago to rebuild the rear end on my truck. This auto repair shop has screwed over my family more than once. They took their car in for a minor repair and upon receiving their car, it was in worse condition then it was before. The auto shop agreed to fix the new problem and again upon retrieving the car, something else was wrong. This happened a few times. Now the company is refusing to do necessary repairs even though the car is in a worst state then it was before taking it in. My family is out a ton of money. Avoid this place. read more

I had taken my car to Midas initially and wanted to get a second opinion. After they confirmed the necessary strut replacement, Evergreen gave me a much cheaper quote. Really appreciate the help these guys were able to do for me last minute. Took my van in for its first synthetic oil change and told them I had a hard time taking off my old wipers and that though my windshield fluid was full, it would not spray. They changed my wipers free of charge and they cleaned out the lines for my fluid FREE. They tell you what they see, ways to correct it and at a fair price. They don't mind giving you a little bit of education and they even will show you the parts that they replaced before they throw them out. Great! I was greeted right away by Jordan, he gave me an estimate on an oil change and offered me coffee and snacks for the wait. The lobby was super clean and had many things to look at like an old gas pump, model cars and car memorabilia. My car was finished right on time. When I was on my way out Jordan and one of the mechanics gave me a lot of helpful information on my car that I had not noticed. I had my bumper replaced by an auto shop and they noticed over spray and a piece of the bumper was also popped out. We took our suburban here july or August time frame to be timed. Although my husband was capable of doing this we were about to have a baby and move so we called they gave us a price and brought it to them. They said a couple hours and it will be done, by end of business we called cause we had yet to hear back from them and they were having problems. The first mechanic didnt set the timing right and then they shorted out our recently installed starter. So they needed to keep it longer and were charging us for a new starter because ours was "bad" except my husband called them on their crap and told them to reinstall our starter properly and that we would not be paying for that because that was never discussed. So then we go to pick up our truck and the guy broke our interior door handle. Did he fix it no. Did he offer too, no. Apologize for breaking it, no. Was the timing done correctly, no. It was actually worse than when we brought it there. Here we are 8 months later still dealing with this problem. I guess we wil habe to wait till we go home (midwest) to do it our self.
