I went to Streamline to have shocks installed on my Lexus RX450H vehicle. I was assured they were ordered from Lexus for my model. After having the job done I needed a repair that only Lexus Service could do. They found that the shocks Streamline installed were after market and not authentic Lexus parts as I requested. Additionally the left rear shock was installed backward not having a rock guard toward the back of the car if rocks fly up! The guys came in the waiting room and said "I'll turn it around for you but that guard doesn't make one damn bit of difference" I said "please just turn shock the way the other is in properly" I was also told by Lexus these could easily fail in a short time because they are not air shocks that are proper for this model year RX450H 2010. Very unsatisfied customer after reading good reviews for this company prior to calling them. read more

Our 2013 Pathfinder started making grinding noises when turning to the right. We were headed out on a road trip the following week and needed to have this diagnosed. Dealership and other auto repair shops were two weeks out before they would even look at it and then they wanted $150 to $200 JUST FOR THE DIAGNOSIS. Streamline was able to fit us in the following day. Upon arrival we met with the front office manager and she connected us up with Tech Jeremy. We went for a quick drive and after hearing what was going on Jeremy had us stop and he checked under the car. A plate was rubbing against the left front brake rotor so he bent it out with a screw driver - problem solved! We offered to pay for the service but they declined as it only took 5 minutes. This is the way things used to be before car service agencies got so greedy. Give these guys a try when your car or truck needs service. Good people. read more

The ac unit went out on the first day of summer and the heat wave was supposed to last 10 days. The first two places couldn't look at my car til 8 days later. I was desperate to say the least. I have never heard of Streamline Auto (on Tye St) but was sold from all the five star Yelp reviews and left with no option but to give this place a try and hope they don't price gouge.. Al, the owner picked up the phone and after telling him my ac unit suddenly stopped working, he allowed me to drop off the car right away the same day. The next morning , he diagnosed it (ac compressor out) ordered the part for same day delivery and called me back midday after replacing the part it's ready for pick up before they close up shop. Actually, he said he could be there after their normal business hours since I may not make it in time by 5pm. We also had him check the car battery and he replaced that too. I was so amazed by the quick turn around time to get two big things done. The price was very reasonable for the amount of work done. Typically, I would expect a 10 day turn around time. I only had to rent a vehicle for 1 day instead of over a week. So glad I found an awesome reliable mechanic in Monroe! The place was clean, well staffed, professional and follows covid guidelines on cleanliness. The invoice was clearly outlined on parts and labor. I like that Al told me the total price up front. Highly recommend for lightning fast service and fair price! Located on Tye St. (industrial park) with a big parking lot so it's easy to park. read more

Just moved back to the area, and I was glad I found a great shop. Al was kind and professional. I The shop itself was one of the cleanest and most organized auto shops I've ever seen. They have a cozy waiting room. My only recommendation is to switch out the scented candles for unscented bc a lot of people have allergies to the chemicals in them. Took my truck in for front end repairs they farmed out for the alignsend it out and come to find out all my tie raw adjustments please where loose lower control arm a centric bolt was loose and they put my wife in it it absolutely destroyed my tires that were $1400 I was reluctant to get that back and they did pay some of my deductible to fix some of the front end parts and gave me money to go to my place of choice to get the front end fixed but they send me a check for my tires and tell me upon cashing it this will conclude business with him I was never rude to these folks they got their money always they had my truck for weeks and weeks 3 or 4 different times And they want to conclude business with me because they sent my truck out for an alignment and then sent it out without checking it so they had to pay for damages this is the kind of company you are dealing with take your vehicle somewhere else. Or make sure you check or have someone check all repairs and if it needs any kind of alignment they are not capable of doing that at that shop so don't let them tell you they can cause they will send it to somebody else you are better off taking it to your preference of wheel and tire shop and having the fun in the line read more

He also recommended a towing service, which was reasonably priced. Since it was the ending of the day and they weren't able to get to my car to the next day, I was offered a ride to hotel. I had an issue with my car window that was an emergency to me as it is the rainy season in Washington! I called Al after his shop was closed for the day. Not only did he answer promptly he also diagnosed the problem, ordered the part and offered me a ride to work the next day if I brought my car in first thing. Not a reputable company!!! We had them rebuild the rear end in our Yukon 2 years or 15k miles ago. This type service if done right should last 100k plus miles. They need to completely clean all rebuilt components so no metal shavings are present! Simple concept but was not done by streamline and the rear end was roast totally going out after 15k miles. Sh** job . Then they charged us 50% total labor and parts to rebuld it again! Bullsh** ! If they were reputable they would have done it right the first time and held a standard of warranty that would be good even up to 100k. Do yourself a favor look harder and get more reviews before using a company as crappy as streamline!! read more

Let me be the first to say as a woman I find a lot of times these shops will try to take advantage of you. I was more than pleased that he did not try this. Really happy with the service. Our car broke down in the middle of a snow storm and we had to rush over to them! They were very nice, extremely hospitable, and didn't pressure us at all to add anything or use their services. They were able to fix the car really fast, even though there was a snowstorm and the parts took a while to get; it was still done before they said it would be. Six months ago, I loved this shop! They got my car in a day early, and fixed it quicker than they estimated, and the price was fair. I even liked that they called months later to see how the car was doing. A couple of months ago, had the same noise coming from the same area of the car. Called the shop and lucky me, it was under warranty. Brought it in like I was told, only for them to tell me it wasn't the same bearing they replaced. First was told it was the other side, then was told it was a wavy tire (tires had just been replaced) and that I needed an alignment. Fair enough....took it for a tire rotation and asked for a alignment. Can't get an alignment with a bad bearing. My car went to two different mechanics and both put the car on their lifts, put a stethoscope on each bearing, and both mechanics said the bad bearing was the one Streamline replaced. I didn't want to take it back to Streamline because I felt like they weren't listening to me. I knew where the noise was coming from. So, I had the other mechanic replace the bad bearing, and no more noise. Sad about this because I really felt this was a great shop. It is spotless, they were nice enough and their waiting room is welcoming and cozy. Just need a shop that listens and takes me somewhat seriously. read more

I have used Streamline Auto Repair on two occasions for the same car (2007 Audi A6). He was recommended to me by a Audi Q7 owner. Both times I have been completely satisfied. My first repair was the diagnostic and repair of the MMI display (Nav screen). I have worked as a mechanic years ago and I can sense the "want to pick up the job now and will try to fix" type shops from those that have the knowledge/skill. I called quite a few "German" shops around the I5 corridor inquiring about my problem and most of these were the type I described above. Al from Streamline was different. He diagnosed it and fixed it properly the first time. My second encounter was related to suspension troubleshooting on the same car (today). He did not find issue with my suspension, but pointed out to warped brake rotors and suggested I go to the shop that did the break job. I would have done the work at his shop if he wasn't so far from where I leave and work. I strongly recommend this shop for anyone that has VW & Audi. He is your best alternative to the dealership. read more
