Monroe Foreign & Domestic Auto Repair

Monroe Foreign & Domestic Auto Repair

This review is LONG overdue (just like the oil change always is on our Land Cruiser). I can not…read moreexpress in words (but will try) how much we appreciate Mike and his team - they have saved us SO much and they fix the issue and it's gone. As a mother of two toddlers, we want our children to be in the safest most reliable car we can afford (especially when driving on HWY-2 & 203 daily) and for us it is our used 2004 Toyota Land Cruiser. Mike and his crew have helped us not only save money but keep your little ones safe with their mechanical talents. We use to take our Toyota Land Cruiser serviced at Michael's Toyota of Bellevue, but after repeated visits for the same issues which they weren't resolving, and then charging use again to fix we knew something was not right. We needed to find an honest auto repair business and fast - as our car is the work horse for our family. We found Monroe Foreign Auto Repair on Yelp and based on their reviews we took a chance, and thank goodness we did! The $3,500 a/c repair we were quoted at Michael's Toyota of Bellevue turned out to be a $1,500 repair at Monroe Foreign Auto Repair! What more - the a/c worked 50% better than when we bought the car used 7 years before. We were floored and so grateful, as every family knows - every dollar is accounted for and committed when you have children. Mike and his team were very practical and conservative with their assessment and repair approach game plan. They were very up front with what they knew about the vehicle / model (and OMG - do they know A TON about Toyota's!), and walked us through the options and plan of attack to address the issue. We were so impressed with their ethics. It's seems so hard to find a business who puts the needs of their customer's first rather than much they can squeeze/take advantage of them in a difficult situation. Wish there were more businesses out there run by people like Mike. Unfortunately they do not work on domestic cars, When we brought in our Ford Escape, Mike referred us to reputable auto repair shop who took car of us, Apex Auto Service just across the road who took care of us. Also, drop off/pick up of our car was EASY! The only time we could drop off our Toyota off after hours, and all we had to do was park/lock the car (they have security cameras every where) - fill out one of the envelopes, drop the key in and slip it into the door slot. Mike fixed our car while we were away on a family trip. We handled payment over the phone and arranged pick up when we returned. If you have even the smallest of issue with your foreign car and have been given a quote, highly urge/recommend you stop by and see Mike before committing to anyone and see what his team can do for you. Always get a 2nd even 3rd opinion ... you could save tons of money like we did. Monroe Foreign Auto is the ONLY place we will take our Toyota to from now on.

Five stars for convenience, professionalism and trust. A very clean shop, very easy to work with…read more Thank you

It's not unheard of to have a bad experience, BUT be realistic and give FS AUTOWORX the opportunity to correct and improve the situation, because they DEFINITELY WILL make it right. So if you are a "Karen" please just stay home and fix it yourself since you apparently have all the answers/solutions. FS Autoworx has never failed me the, working on, 8 years they've worked on my vehicles. Thanks Team Fs Autoworx!!!

I went to Les Schwab because they'd replaced my tires recently. The sweet young guy (LS does not require much experience) sent me over to FS Autoworks who he felt could better diagnose. These older trucks are quirky! The owner, Jeremy, took the time to figure out what was actually going on--with some crazy old school electrical trick-- stayed with it right up until closing, and got me safely back on the road that day. What I appreciated most was the communication. He explained the issues clearly, helped me prioritize what needed to be addressed, and was mindful of cost constraints without ever compromising safety. As someone going through a divorce and trying to keep an old truck, a cabin renovation, and life in general moving forward, that meant a lot. I really felt so taken care of and trusted every recommendation. If you have a Diesel Truck, or any truck, FS Autoworks is the place to go. It's hard to find people who are both knowledgeable and honest. Jeremy was both. Will never take my truck anywhere else again and I have a feeling these guys will keep it running in the 300-500k mileage range these trucks are capable of! Highly recommend!

They expertly and quickly diagnosed the issues needing repair/replacement after removing the back end then worked quickly in procuring the OEM parts. They finished the work 1-day sooner than expected (less than a week), and the finished body work was beautiful! They coordinated seamlessly with both my insurance company AND a local rental car agency for drop off and pickup service. Though I hope not to need these services again, I now know where to go should the need arise. Eric and his team are the best!!

Ruthie and Eric…read more In the span of, over a month they constantly would tell me a bunch of lies, i was first txted that they were nearing completion, then i was txted that they were actually waiting on parts and were gonna need to push the pick up date another 2 weeks 5 days away from pick up, how do we go from "being on track nd nearing completion" to "waiting on parts" already didn't make sense anyways i let it be i don't care as long as i get my vehicle as they promised, exactly how it used to be they said, long story short that date rolls around hear nothing back yet again so i call and ask whats goin on, it was the 23rd they let me know the same thing "its repairsd painted and ready to go" but that it was looking like they were gonna have to push it back till the next day, 24th comes and i recieve calls 2 hours from pick up them letting me know they didn't know WHY the bumper wasn't aligning or sitting right maybe they had gotten a "bad batch" this is day OF PICK UP after a whole month of waiting; they let me know that they were gonna try their "best" to figure it out before i picked up, then thirty minutes pass i recieve another call stating "i have another problem for ya" like it aint THEIR job, saying that they were actually having a sensor issue and that even their "calibration" guy was stumped and they didn't know how to fix it, mind you this was after waiting for more than 4 weeks of them already sending me text msgs that it was "repaired and painted" was texted and told MULTIPLE TIMEs ONLY waiting on after market parts so why wasn't ANY of this fixed before those parts arrived? After this i still go cause i wanted to see the state of my vehicle after recieving all these empty promises, i arrive and the bumper is basically on top of the hood they let me know that the after market fog light vents "didn't fit" pretty sure they didnt even order any, still after all this i was respectful flexible, even, and told them to just please fix the bumper and lip cause it also had big gaps and not to worry about the vents, didn't give me an exact day it was going to be finished said "he didn't know" and that he would maybe have to take it to the dealership to figure out the sensor issues. Next week after this its tuesday hear nothing, only a text message saying it was gonna be pushed back again nd ready the next day, they then pushed it everyday after that until friday. I go pick up i didn't notice too much of the defects right there and then i'll admit however, i did notice they didnt put the bi turbo and the side vent after market part that it was gonna arrive earliest august 2nd "swing by and we'll just slap it on for ya" never recieved a call about it nor update, and it is now august 8th. Constantly i would be promised that i would be recieving calls back to let me know updates and would constantly recieve none, only the text messages being told it was gonna be pushed back a different date. I finally go pick up and after two days of having my vehicle i notice everything including the never repaired plastic wheel well liner a dangling WIRE WITH A SENSOR DRAGGING TO THE FLOOR paint mismatch etc.Throughout this entire endeavor i was respectful, and patient while they only showed negligence and the lack of care for their job. IF YOU'RE GONNA DO SOMETHING DO IT WITH PRIDE. I currently have my car at crash champions in mil creek fixing THEIR mess cause clearly they can not be trused to fix any vehicle properly. I can't fathom how they thought any of this was "professional" or in the slighest up to par. It is ridiculous and concerning to know they "fix" so many vehicles.
