We brought two of our cars here. People are friendly but the service was not up to par. They inspected our truck and failed to tell us our car was not drivable. We had our wheel bearings looked at and they said the should be replaced soon but not that our car was not drivable. So we took our car home to plan on when we could be without the car and bring it back. Well THREE days later, our wheel FLEW off while we were on the freeway almost causing a catastrophic car accident. We had to pay over 3,000 to fix it and towing fees. We called to complain about not be advisied that this was not drive able and that we shouldn't have drove off the lot but they said "well do what you gotta do". We also during this same time had our other vehicle under their "inspection" and "care" to replace a clutch on a manual. The replaced the clutch but it caused other issues with our motor mount. We took it to another shop after two attempts of having them "check their work" and this other shop advised us to never go back here. We have ANOTHER loose wheel bearing (which wasn't an issue before and were brand new) and issued with motor mount from the clutch install from this place They refuse to acknowledge they had any part in this and are adamant that BOTH cars were "fine" Take a look at our truck after NOT being told our truck wasn't drivable. My whole family was in the car and they are LUCKY no one was significantly harmed read more

He's very honest and will let you know what needs to be fixed and won't try and. charge you more than the job is worth. He got it done in a couple days called me to come pick it up. And when I did, he explained everything to me and when I drove off, it was like a brand new car. I could tell right away the difference in performance. I am now a customer for life. So honest, I don't know how they stay in business. I took my old Toyo in a few months ago, sure I needed a new alternator, which was going to run me upwards of 400 dollars, which I was prepared to pay. Hutch did some checking and found it was a fuse and a wire replacement, which cost just a little over a hundred for the labor. How many shops would have replaced the alternator, then told me it was a different problem? Most. We need these guys to expand so I don't have to drive so far for service! I went here to get a exhaust system for my truck. After talking with the owners Hutch and Carrie and explaining what I want, something more free flowing and not to loud and absolutely dont want it to drone. Well they said they could do that. We struck a cash deal with no tax and they went to work. When they were all done and started the truck it sounded good at a idle. I payed them the cash and drove off. It took all about two minutes to absolutely hate it. It is so loud it sets off car alarms and the drone on the freeway is so bad I want to pull over and run away from it. I went back and complained that this wasn't what I wanted Hutch thought for a minute and said well maybe we can try installing this ------ muffler and I will only charge you this much. Really that is the same amount of money as it was for the first one. They mess up and want to charge me again I dont think so. I learned my lesson I will have to pay someone else to fix their mistake. read more

Recently returned from a small repair - new sway bar on my Subaru. I had to go retrieve the part myself, which I did not mind. (I got a deal on it anyway). After going to multiple exhausts shops to see about having a muffler welded on my motorcycle, I found they all reacted the same way. No one wanted to even give me the time of day.. Finally I tried Beyond Repair here in everett. I arrived 30min before they closed and Hutch still came out to look at my motorcycle then welded an adapter on it really quick for a very decent price! Very nice couple. I will be bringing my buisiness back. Don't listen to these one star reviews... when you get an exhaust put on your vehicle you better do some research first and watch some videos so you can listen to how it sounds. I took my 2002 Dodge 1500 to the local dealer to have a coolant leak problem diagnosed. Long story short, the dealer said new water pump and $1,200. Then I went to Beyond Repair on a recommendation, they actually looked at the entire coolant system. They performed a few tests, because of my engine having overheated, and determined I had a bad thermostat with a leak at a seal but no serious engine issues. Total expense was about $200. They were honest and transparent about what my truck needed. They didn't take advantage of me. I definitely recommend this shop. read more

Took the 88 BMW in to have the exhaust replaced. They did an amazing job. It's been a year and no issues whatsoever. Sounded great from day one and still does. At that time, they suggested we replace the timing too, since they could tell it had been 100k since it'd been done. So, a bit later we had them replace the timing. The gentleman who worked on it brought out the belt and the pulley and showed us how bad it was. It looked like it was going to snap at any time. There's a bunch of issues with the car they identified, but told us the timing was the important thing. They were spot on, and didn't tell us to do a bunch of work that wasn't necessary. And to top it all off, they quoted $600 for the timing. It ended up being about $660 because it took more time, being a P.I.T.A. beamer, but they discounted it and charged us only what they quoted. They also saved me $400 by telling me a bunch of stuff the Mazda dealership recommended I do to my brand new Mazda3 that had 30k miles on it was totally unnecessary. Very good mechanics that are truly honest! I'd recommend anyone take their vehicle here! read more

I don't even want to explain how much money I was out after taking my Dodge Ram 1500 to Beyond Repair for a rear differential problem. Hutch rebuilt my rear end and overlooked a crack in my housing, causing me to throw bearings left and right. Finally after paying over $1000 in labor costs plus parts and because these "so called professionals" couldn't find the root problem, I ended up paying a junkyard for a complete rear end assembly that cost me another $1000. So instead of being out $1000 plus labor I was out over $2500 when it was all said and done. read more

Had my van for over eight days, on two separate visits. Called me up told me they didn't know how to fix and charged me over $1300.00. They suggested I take it to PEP BOY's(WOW) First visit they replaced two exhaust donut's, fuel filter, air cleaner, cap, rotor and removed the catalytic converter with out replacing, making the vehicle illegal per emission standards. $1000.00 charge, told me vehicle was running well, I drove home two blocks seemed ok, next day vehicle was running rough again, had to use the vehicle on a trip ran horrible entire trip. Brought vehicle back on next business day Tuesday they kept till Friday and called me to tell me to take it somewhere else. When I took the van in Tuesday I said I wanted the catalytic converter replaced, they offered to put the old one back in for Free(this being the one they removed because they thought this was the problem) so I had to buy a new CAT $299 charge told me they were giving me a deal and "we didn't charge you labor" (WOW) This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at auto repair shop. SloWWWWW and still couldn't fix it right. Couldn't admit they were clueless till after they got deep in my pocket and eight days a valuable time. Rank amateurs who have no shame. They took this fools money don't let them take yours. read more
