Hey yaw........yet again another review from me....this small town girl trying to find her way in the Great PNW. As a female on her own and trying to take care of "car stuff" it can be challenging....well for me anyway :-). I needed some service performed on my car and went into Wardells Automotive. I was met by a very friendly lady at the front desk, told her what I was needing done and she introduced me to Stacie. I explained to Stacie that I knew nothing about a car and what I was needing done. She took it from there.....that simple. Really!!! I sat in the front office, petted the doggie, chatted with the other customers and in less than an hour I was finished. The technician took me in the back and explained what he had done and why. He even backed my car out into the busy street and then stopped traffic for me while I got in to drive off. They did not treat me like an idiot nor did they make fun of me for not knowing what I was doing. I love being a female and having someone allow me to be the way I am and still treat me with respect is important for me. It's hard to find an honest auto shop and Wardell's definitely is it! I have had both of my cas worked on by them. Most recently they looked at my Kia which I was as told from another shop that I was need far more work done to it than what was needed. I have watched the guys at the shop drive the customers cars like there destruction derby cars, I've seen them cut donuts , ride up on the curb hella hard with a customers car , not to mention they(mostly Chris) drive all the cars way too hard , if you saw what they do to care you wouldn't want them near yours read more

This place is fantastic! I had problems with my emission control system and went to a different local shop where they tried to con me into buying a $400 part to fix it. Fortunately, I said "no" and took my car to Wardell for a second opinion. They actually tested the system and found the problem was a $28 sensor! Had I bought The $400 fix from the other guy, I would have been out the money and still had the problem. These people are honest and will explain things to you when they do your repair. For anyone who does not know a lot about car repair, that is crucial. You have to be able to trust if you don't know. And I do trust these guys. read more

As someone who knows nothing about cars, I feel like I hit the jackpot when I discovered this place. I hate being a "dumb girl" but I think it's pretty likely that I've paid more for repairs over the years than was necessary or fair. I feel totally comfortable taking our cars here. They do excellent work for a fair price and they take the time to explain what they're doing and why. Lisa is so knowledgeable and helpful. I've called and described a couple of problems and she was able to give me an idea of what the likely causes/solutions were over the phone -- and she's been right! Today I spoke with her and she gave some suggestions on things to check for first, before bringing it in. Problem solved!!! Money saved!!! How many other places do that? liars and thieves! lied and told me i have blown struts when they were perfectly fine, and tried to charge me for over $2000 worth of repairs that the car didn't need. glad i didn't pay them $3000 when all my car need was new brakes and a new timing belt / water pump. had work done at a trusted shop for $700.
