I came in for a 30,000 mile tune up for my Jeep. They said basic things but nothing big. I had arranged the 1-1.5 hour work for me to wait. It turned out to be nearly 6 hours without a break to get lunch and I finally asked for water. IF I had been told it took that long ( they said I should do a transmission fluid change to which I agreed) I would have had my husband pick me up. Communication was severely lacking here. read more

They did my car tint . First time I went for a estimate they said 300$ when I got there they changed price !!!! Since my windows were tinted my rear view mirror fell off , I asked an employee to clean front window , which they made a excuse not to do. I gave the girl who did the tint and gent who drove me a block away girl 20$ tip gent 40$ . The best service. We recently moved to the area and our son was visiting for the weekend. On a Friday, on his way to us, his engine began to leak oil pretty bad. Did a quick Google search and Precision Auto had really good reviews. After a diagnostic, found that he needed a new oil pump kit. The team said they could have it done Saturday so he could head back on Sunday. We went to go and check on the progress at noon and was told it was going to take a little longer, but they vowed to stay and finish the job. I was wow'd by their determination. When it was all said and done, they found a deteriorating motor mount they they replaced at no extra charge. All and all, it was a great experience. The team was very approachable, accommodating , and determined. This is the epitome of customer service. They don't just say their about customer service, they also embrace it. Precision does great work, staff is usually very kind and helpful. I had dropped my car off for a new water pump and muffler. When I arrived water pump was installed and working great, the only problem was that they'd forgotten about my muffler replacement. UGH! They had not WRITTEN DOWN my muffler request. So even though I verbally reminded them when I dropped my car off it didn't get done. Having to find someone to pick me up and drive me home after dropping my car off for repairs is a major ordeal. So when a tech simply forgets to write down a repair request is unacceptable, especially when it costs me more time and money. And once again having to make arrangements with someone to pick me up etc.. also this is the 2nd time they've forgotten to do a repair after dropping my car off. TWO TIMES IN A ROW?? We had taken our 2007 Ford Explorer to another mechanic and spent a few thousand dollars having parts replaced and issues diagnosed. We were still experiencing issues and decided to try Precision Auto Works based on their reviews here on Yelp. They asked us to bring in a copy of the paperwork showing what the other shop had done and within a day had diagnosed the issue and called us to discuss in terms we could understand. They only charged us for the diagnostic evaluation and the fluids needed to fill everything back up which was amazing. My wife was super impressed with the cleanliness of the new shop, the restroom was "immaculate" according to her and their level of professionalism with fixing the issue and not saying anything negative about the other shops work. Normally I wouldn't say anything and just deal with it but I'm pretty upset and spent a lot of money here. Ive taken my car here before, installed a beautiful sounding exhaust, great job. Took it in again to fix a couple oil leaks and they did a good job on the work but left garbage, a gooey lighter and other customers receipts in my car along with a mouse. My car is parked in my dry and clean garage every day, I work from home. I'm pretty upset about finding a rodent and my personal belongings shredded in my car and mouse pee and poop everywhere. I had snacks in my car before taking it in so I know I didn't have a mouse before taking it in. Chewed up a chapstick in the front and got it everywhere, already vacuumed it up before I remembered to take a photo. I know it's winter and they're looking for a warm place to hide and it's nobody's intentional fault, but how did nobody notice? My family and I were passing through the area on a 5 week road trip when our F150 began experiencing an issue that caused the engine to lose power and idle rough. We called at least nine other shops, including three area Ford dealers, and nobody would make time to diagnose the issue...except Adrian and Precision Auto Works. Even though the shop was full of cars and the mechanics were swamped, Adrian made time to hook up a computer to our truck and diagnose the issue. He did additional research to learn more about the issue and then rearranged their schedule to repair our truck so we could get back on the road.
