You can't go wrong with supporting local. I read some prior reviews and they definitely concerned me but I also know things happen and you should always try things out for yourself. My husband has been taking his car here for the past few oil changes and has had nothing but great services. As for me, this is my first. I'm normally bougie AF and only go to the dealership I bought my Tahoe from but have been feeling like I'd like to be more than a number. At Smiley's, they greet you with a fantastic smile, they're quick and efficient. They don't make you search for some online coupon to offer. Great price, they just give that deal front he start.

Gasket that seals the oil in the filter.

$132 for an oil change. Smeared dirt on my windshield included. Even for synthetic oil that's the most I ever spent on an oil change

Monroe Foreign & Domestic Auto Repair

This review is LONG overdue (just like the oil change always is on our Land Cruiser). I can not…read moreexpress in words (but will try) how much we appreciate Mike and his team - they have saved us SO much and they fix the issue and it's gone. As a mother of two toddlers, we want our children to be in the safest most reliable car we can afford (especially when driving on HWY-2 & 203 daily) and for us it is our used 2004 Toyota Land Cruiser. Mike and his crew have helped us not only save money but keep your little ones safe with their mechanical talents. We use to take our Toyota Land Cruiser serviced at Michael's Toyota of Bellevue, but after repeated visits for the same issues which they weren't resolving, and then charging use again to fix we knew something was not right. We needed to find an honest auto repair business and fast - as our car is the work horse for our family. We found Monroe Foreign Auto Repair on Yelp and based on their reviews we took a chance, and thank goodness we did! The $3,500 a/c repair we were quoted at Michael's Toyota of Bellevue turned out to be a $1,500 repair at Monroe Foreign Auto Repair! What more - the a/c worked 50% better than when we bought the car used 7 years before. We were floored and so grateful, as every family knows - every dollar is accounted for and committed when you have children. Mike and his team were very practical and conservative with their assessment and repair approach game plan. They were very up front with what they knew about the vehicle / model (and OMG - do they know A TON about Toyota's!), and walked us through the options and plan of attack to address the issue. We were so impressed with their ethics. It's seems so hard to find a business who puts the needs of their customer's first rather than much they can squeeze/take advantage of them in a difficult situation. Wish there were more businesses out there run by people like Mike. Unfortunately they do not work on domestic cars, When we brought in our Ford Escape, Mike referred us to reputable auto repair shop who took car of us, Apex Auto Service just across the road who took care of us. Also, drop off/pick up of our car was EASY! The only time we could drop off our Toyota off after hours, and all we had to do was park/lock the car (they have security cameras every where) - fill out one of the envelopes, drop the key in and slip it into the door slot. Mike fixed our car while we were away on a family trip. We handled payment over the phone and arranged pick up when we returned. If you have even the smallest of issue with your foreign car and have been given a quote, highly urge/recommend you stop by and see Mike before committing to anyone and see what his team can do for you. Always get a 2nd even 3rd opinion ... you could save tons of money like we did. Monroe Foreign Auto is the ONLY place we will take our Toyota to from now on.

We had to leave the car over the weekend and trust that this shop would communicate over the phone what was going on with my car. One of the shop workers took my car for a test drive a few times and ran diagnostics. He was very honest about the issues- which turned out there really were none, just a spark in the alternator! His honesty even being two hours away from me was so helpful in knowing that I would be able to drive my car home safely without an issue. I really appreciated working with this auto shop, I wish it was in my town!

Thankfully it was not crowded and we got right in. The service was very fast, we were in and out in 10 minutes. The quality was great they did a thorough inspection, and were pretty friendly. Between my personal vehicles and multiple businesses, I've brought well over two dozen vehicles through Jiffy Lube and have spent well over $20,000 over the years. This Monroe location just lost a long-time customer because of one employee: Andrew. I pulled into the bay expecting the same straightforward service I've received for years. Instead, Andrew looked at my truck for a few seconds and immediately quoted me $219 for an oil change. He never entered my VIN, never checked my service history, never verified the oil capacity, never asked me to open the driver's door, and never looked anything up. He simply threw out a number. That immediately felt wrong. I wondered if i new him as i felt he was treating me different and he didn't want me to be there. I backed out, parked, went to the official Jiffy Lube website, entered my VIN and license plate, and the website quoted me $94.99 for the same service. I drove back and showed Andrew the quote directly from Jiffy Lube's own website. His response? "The website is wrong." When I asked him to verify my vehicle in the computer or look up my history, he refused. When I asked if there was a manager available, he told me he was the highest-ranking employee there. When I asked why the website quoted $94.99 but he wanted $219, he claimed the website only included five quarts of oil. I then asked him a simple question: "How much would two additional quarts cost?" He said he didn't know. Think about that for a second. He claimed to know with absolute certainty that my bill should be $219, without looking in the system, yet he couldn't tell me the cost of two additional quarts of oil, then it dawned on me he has been here at least 3 years as this is the location that screwed up my aluminum plate underweight by taking it off with the power gun, they ruined one of the bolts and when I came back in I asked him to take it off manually, from now now , he remembered the color of my raptor and didn't want to deal with it. So he quotes so high that no person would continue. Instead of trying to resolve the issue or verify anything, he told me, "If you don't like it, go somewhere else." A few moments later he refused to service my vehicle and told me to leave, when i asked him to quote the job per Jiffy Lube policy but inputting my truck into the system, as it leavs record. He didn't want to leave any record. Well here were are. Play stupid games , win stupid prizes Andrew. There are about 10 more places like this , to make you popular in Monroe I've never been treated this way at any Jiffy Lube. If this is how Monroe treats customers who have spent tens of thousands of dollars with the company over the years, I can't imagine how they treat first-time customers or grandmas. Toyota corolla? Ok that will be a million dollars Mrs. Granny Jane. Whether this was incompetence, laziness, or simply terrible customer service, I don't know. What I do know is that I was quoted more than double the price shown on Jiffy Lube's own website, nobody would investigate the discrepancy, and I was ultimately refused service for asking reasonable questions. It is false advertisement when a site into which youi input your viechle with your vin, licence plate and they know and have all records in the system. if it would of been 1 or 2 more quartz i get it , charge me per quart, dont Price Gauge me. No wonder you site 90 % of the time empty with guys standing with sign that wave to bring traffic in. Why wait to be dead to get so desperate and when some people come in you Gauge them? I'll be filing a complaint with Jiffy Lube Corporate and taking my business elsewhere. Long-time customers deserve better than this.

Gave them another chance and dropped it off first thing Saturday morning for a couple simple repairs. I called at noon, no answer. I showed up before closing and no one was there. The owner Hector finally arrived and they didn't know what work needed done. They let my truck sit in the bay all day instead of calling me to ask. That was after me telling Hector and his mechanic what work was being perform on day the day I scheduled and at drop off, and I showed them the parts on the passenger seat. Ended up sitting around waiting for the work to be done and was charged $463 for 1 hours worth of labor. No estimate, no receipt, no nothing. I even had to correct some of their work the next day by cutting off (8) 3" bolts left hanging from my rear axles. No reputable mechanic would leave this as it becomes a safety hazard. And now Hector has blocked my number and refuses to return a special order E-brake cable from Ford that was to be installed.
