    I had my oil changed at the end of January, 2023 at the Monroe, WA location. I remained in my car for part of the time, but after listening to the supervisor yell and curse at the mechanics, telling them to hurry up because it was almost closing time, I felt uncomfortable and decided to walk and get a coffee. When I returned, they mentioned that I had a slight oil leak. What they didn't mention, which I didn't find out until my van began struggling up hills, chugging, shaking and shuddering, is that they overfilled the oil by at least a quart. It took about a week for me to notice that something was wrong, and I kept monitoring it to see if it got better or worse. It definitely got worse over the next month, so at the end of February, I went back to that location and asked them to drain out the excess oil. They were not very apologetic about their mistake, giving me an excuse that they didn't have the right size filter for my vehicle and that caused the oil volume to "appear" too high. They also told me "it's not really a big deal to have too much oil in your car--race cars do that intentionally". But they still offered a free fuel system cleaning, which took long enough that I had to go to the coffee shop again so I didn't have to sit there and listen to the supervisor or manager verbally abuse the mechanics. I couldn't tell who was in charge--there seemed to be two people in managerial positions--but one of them asked the other if he would test drive my car to see if the fuel cleaning helped at all. He did that, then came back and said it was still acting up when going up hills, but "seemed ok", or something like that. It is absolutely NOT OK, at all. My van is barely drivable, as it shudders when going up hills, doesn't want to accelerate, and there is a chugging sound coming out of the exhaust pipe. I cannot afford to pay for car repair, so I contacted Jiffy Lube's customer service and told them what was going on. They acted like they wanted to remedy the situation and asked me to forward them my invoices. They opened a damage claim and said an agent would contact me within 1-3 days. That was on March 4th, 2023. Today is March 21, and I still have not heard one word from anyone at Jiffy Lube regarding the alleged inspection they wanted to do to assess the damage. I have called and emailed many times and they continue to ignore me. I believe what they're doing is trying to force me to go get it fixed somewhere else, which will void their service warranty. I am holding out because I literally have no money to pay a shop, and because Jiffy Lube's warranty is supposed to cover any damages inflicted on our vehicles while in their care. My vehicle may need a new engine because of this. I'm afraid to drive it, and have not only missed several weeks of work from having no transportation, I just had to turn down two catering jobs which would have paid me enough to get a new car or van. I am also unable to get to my physical therapy and doctor appointments, which is causing me a lot of pain and stress. At this point, I am filling out the form to take this to small claims court. Jiffy Lube could at the very least contact me and tell me where they are in the process of addressing this claim, but no, they are completely blowing me off. I am disgusted by this unprofessionalism and should have known better than to go back to them for an oil change. In the past, the Kirkland employees put the wrong radiator cap on my car, causing all the water to boil out and leave me stranded on top of a mountain. The South Everett employees left tools inside my engine compartment which I didn't find for a few months when I noticed that my hood wasn't closing all the way. I didn't go back to JL for years because of this negligence and only went to the Monroe location out of convenience. I wrote a Google review after my visit in January because I thought the owner might like to know that his managers are abusing the other employees. But at that time, I was not aware that they had actually done damage to my engine. When I went back in February, they were rather dismissive and I felt like they were gaslighting me to shirk responsibility. I was annoyed by that, but nowhere near how enraged I am now that the corporation is just as unprofessional and ignores damage claims. There are plenty of other places to get your oil changed. And a plethora of bad reviews for Jiffy Lube all over the country. No one should waste their money supporting a company that facilitates negligence like this and refuses to be held accountable for it, despite what their warranty claims. The last thing I needed was to have to file a lawsuit, but they are leaving me no other option. The amount of money I feel I'm owed at this point is topping $8000, including all the lost income. I will not quit until I'm compensated for this loss, and I will not quit telling all the world about how horrible Jiffy Lube is, until they deal with me directly.

One of the shop workers took my car for a test drive a few times and ran diagnostics. He was very honest about the issues- which turned out there really were none, just a spark in the alternator! His honesty even being two hours away from me was so helpful in knowing that I would be able to drive my car home safely without an issue. I really appreciated working with this auto shop, I wish it was in my town!

    I'm not one to leave reviews but I would like people to beware and get second opinions. I've been a…read morelong time customer of Les Schwab. I've gotten tires, brake pads, rotors, and a whole new suspension within the past few years. Upon my last brake service, I was told that my rear brake pads were close to needing replacement. I asked to change them out and just start fresh with the new pads and rotors, they said I could come back later they still had enough life. Time went by and I decided to check on them again and get a tire rotation while I was there. I was then told that my tires couldn't be rotated and the front tires were measuring at 2/32 and my alignment was causing uneven wear. Within the last 5 months I had gotten an alignment with them and my tires have less than 30,000 miles on them... so how did it get so bad so fast? I later, examined my tires and can clearly see the tread indicator is not flush with the tire and I measured the tread at 5/32 in the center tread. They then tried to sell me a whole new set of tires. I declined and then asked about my brakes to which they said were all fine. Which contradicts the last time they said I needed pads? Overall really confusing, annoying, and frustrating to deal with during the work week. It feels like they're trying to make sales and get you in more often to upsell you.
