I was in desperate need of an oil change on a Sunday afternoon and was traveling from out of town. This jiffy lube location was the only place in town that was open. Thankfully it was not crowded and we got right in. The service was very fast, we were in and out in 10 minutes. The quality was great they did a thorough inspection, and were pretty friendly. The only downside was the price, it was a bit steep in my opinion, but I don't blame the location for that. read more

I have been a loyal Jiffy Lube customer for over 15 years and have used at least five different Jiffy Lube locations throughout Snohomish County. Between my personal vehicles and multiple businesses, I've brought well over two dozen vehicles through Jiffy Lube and have spent well over $20,000 over the years. This Monroe location just lost a long-time customer because of one employee: Andrew. I pulled into the bay expecting the same straightforward service I've received for years. Instead, Andrew looked at my truck for a few seconds and immediately quoted me $219 for an oil change. He never entered my VIN, never checked my service history, never verified the oil capacity, never asked me to open the driver's door, and never looked anything up. He simply threw out a number. That immediately felt wrong. I wondered if i new him as i felt he was treating me different and he didn't want me to be there. I backed out, parked, went to the official Jiffy Lube website, entered my VIN and license plate, and the website quoted me $94.99 for the same service. I drove back and showed Andrew the quote directly from Jiffy Lube's own website. His response? "The website is wrong." When I asked him to verify my vehicle in the computer or look up my history, he refused. When I asked if there was a manager available, he told me he was the highest-ranking employee there. When I asked why the website quoted $94.99 but he wanted $219, he claimed the website only included five quarts of oil. I then asked him a simple question: "How much would two additional quarts cost?" He said he didn't know. Think about that for a second. He claimed to know with absolute certainty that my bill should be $219, without looking in the system, yet he couldn't tell me the cost of two additional quarts of oil, then it dawned on me he has been here at least 3 years as this is the location that screwed up my aluminum plate underweight by taking it off with the power gun, they ruined one of the bolts and when I came back in I asked him to take it off manually, from now now , he remembered the color of my raptor and didn't want to deal with it. So he quotes so high that no person would continue. Instead of trying to resolve the issue or verify anything, he told me, "If you don't like it, go somewhere else." A few moments later he refused to service my vehicle and told me to leave, when i asked him to quote the job per Jiffy Lube policy but inputting my truck into the system, as it leavs record. He didn't want to leave any record. Well here were are. Play stupid games , win stupid prizes Andrew. There are about 10 more places like this , to make you popular in Monroe I've never been treated this way at any Jiffy Lube. If this is how Monroe treats customers who have spent tens of thousands of dollars with the company over the years, I can't imagine how they treat first-time customers or grandmas. Toyota corolla? Ok that will be a million dollars Mrs. Granny Jane. Whether this was incompetence, laziness, or simply terrible customer service, I don't know. What I do know is that I was quoted more than double the price shown on Jiffy Lube's own website, nobody would investigate the discrepancy, and I was ultimately refused service for asking reasonable questions. It is false advertisement when a site into which youi input your viechle with your vin, licence plate and they know and have all records in the system. if it would of been 1 or 2 more quartz i get it , charge me per quart, dont Price Gauge me. No wonder you site 90 % of the time empty with guys standing with sign that wave to bring traffic in. Why wait to be dead to get so desperate and when some people come in you Gauge them? I'll be filing a complaint with Jiffy Lube Corporate and taking my business elsewhere. Long-time customers deserve better than this. read more

I can change my own oil. And I know I'll get it done right. I stopped taking my car to the Monroe Jiffy Lube. The inside is nice, but they don't do a good job. They have a rotating staff. They can't keep people. The competent ones left a long time ago. I'm not sure I'll get what I pay for, I'm not sure it won't leak out of the car. And it's expensive. I get that oil is expensive, I get that paying people is expensive. That's their fault. They voted for the high wages. I vote not to pay them. read more

Great service by Christopher and Jarrod! Quick and efficient oil change which is the main reason you go to Jiffy Lube. They were very nice and gave great customer service and have excellent communication with each other. We got full synthetic so it was a bit pricey but what we come to expect in this economy. Please don't Please don't ever take your car to Jiffy Lube in Monroe Washington . I have taken my car there for years . And I have definitely had a few issues most of them were minor like leaving my whole cap off and shooting oil over the inside of my car this time I found out my oil filter was ready to fall off and after further investigation found all the air cleaner hoses not even attached properly . I know this was not done by me because I've always taken my vehicles to them trusted them that they had the know-how and knowledge to take care of my vehicles . I have filed complaints with corporate , but they inform me that each store is separately owned and now I'm waiting for the local owner to get a hold of me . It's been over 5 days now and I have not heard a single word from them I've called the store numerous times but all they tell me is basically sorry you're having problems it wasn't us . For people like me and a lot of people in the world we like to take our vehicles to a place like this because it makes her life easier but when something like this happens it's so easy for them to just say it's not our fault sorry good luck . I had my Honda ridgeline serviced in January of 2026, all was well. Got my oil changed, engine air filter changed and all the basic maintenance typically done at a shop like this one. In May 2026 I came back after 5,000 miles to find out that they never replaced my Engine air filter and i was driving for 5 months without an air filter. I felt dumbfounded for not checking my own engine, but you just don't expect that to occur. Luckily my car was just fine and had no issues. Because of this negligence I will not come back to this shop ever again. Id rather pay for peace of mind knowing my car is being taken care of. who knows what they can forget next. They also did not offer to take of the service, besides giving me a new engine air filter which I had PAYED for back in January. read more

They were a little backed up but they made it easy to wait in my truck and stay there while they did the work. When I got to the rack, the oil change and lube was thorough and fast. They showed me the air filter that needed replacing. I asked for a couple of gallons of used motor oil that I wanted to preserve some wood fencing. They fixed me up and supplied the container at no charge. I've been going there for years and figured it was about time to give them a well deserved thumbs up. read more

I had my oil changed at the end of January, 2023 at the Monroe, WA location. I remained in my car for part of the time, but after listening to the supervisor yell and curse at the mechanics, telling them to hurry up because it was almost closing time, I felt uncomfortable and decided to walk and get a coffee. When I returned, they mentioned that I had a slight oil leak. What they didn't mention, which I didn't find out until my van began struggling up hills, chugging, shaking and shuddering, is that they overfilled the oil by at least a quart. It took about a week for me to notice that something was wrong, and I kept monitoring it to see if it got better or worse. It definitely got worse over the next month, so at the end of February, I went back to that location and asked them to drain out the excess oil. They were not very apologetic about their mistake, giving me an excuse that they didn't have the right size filter for my vehicle and that caused the oil volume to "appear" too high. They also told me "it's not really a big deal to have too much oil in your car--race cars do that intentionally". But they still offered a free fuel system cleaning, which took long enough that I had to go to the coffee shop again so I didn't have to sit there and listen to the supervisor or manager verbally abuse the mechanics. I couldn't tell who was in charge--there seemed to be two people in managerial positions--but one of them asked the other if he would test drive my car to see if the fuel cleaning helped at all. He did that, then came back and said it was still acting up when going up hills, but "seemed ok", or something like that. It is absolutely NOT OK, at all. My van is barely drivable, as it shudders when going up hills, doesn't want to accelerate, and there is a chugging sound coming out of the exhaust pipe. I cannot afford to pay for car repair, so I contacted Jiffy Lube's customer service and told them what was going on. They acted like they wanted to remedy the situation and asked me to forward them my invoices. They opened a damage claim and said an agent would contact me within 1-3 days. That was on March 4th, 2023. Today is March 21, and I still have not heard one word from anyone at Jiffy Lube regarding the alleged inspection they wanted to do to assess the damage. I have called and emailed many times and they continue to ignore me. I believe what they're doing is trying to force me to go get it fixed somewhere else, which will void their service warranty. I am holding out because I literally have no money to pay a shop, and because Jiffy Lube's warranty is supposed to cover any damages inflicted on our vehicles while in their care. My vehicle may need a new engine because of this. I'm afraid to drive it, and have not only missed several weeks of work from having no transportation, I just had to turn down two catering jobs which would have paid me enough to get a new car or van. I am also unable to get to my physical therapy and doctor appointments, which is causing me a lot of pain and stress. At this point, I am filling out the form to take this to small claims court. Jiffy Lube could at the very least contact me and tell me where they are in the process of addressing this claim, but no, they are completely blowing me off. I am disgusted by this unprofessionalism and should have known better than to go back to them for an oil change. In the past, the Kirkland employees put the wrong radiator cap on my car, causing all the water to boil out and leave me stranded on top of a mountain. The South Everett employees left tools inside my engine compartment which I didn't find for a few months when I noticed that my hood wasn't closing all the way. I didn't go back to JL for years because of this negligence and only went to the Monroe location out of convenience. I wrote a Google review after my visit in January because I thought the owner might like to know that his managers are abusing the other employees. But at that time, I was not aware that they had actually done damage to my engine. When I went back in February, they were rather dismissive and I felt like they were gaslighting me to shirk responsibility. I was annoyed by that, but nowhere near how enraged I am now that the corporation is just as unprofessional and ignores damage claims. There are plenty of other places to get your oil changed. And a plethora of bad reviews for Jiffy Lube all over the country. No one should waste their money supporting a company that facilitates negligence like this and refuses to be held accountable for it, despite what their warranty claims. The last thing I needed was to have to file a lawsuit, but they are leaving me no other option. The amount of money I feel I'm owed at this point is topping $8000, including all the lost income. I will not quit until I'm compensated for this loss, and I will not quit telling all the world about how horrible Jiffy Lube is, until they deal with me directly. read more

The wait was long but they did what I needed. An oil change. My air filter was beyond filthy and I asked them to replace that too. It was not in stock but they got it from the auto parts store and got me going on my way. My only complaint was the windshield washing. The guy didn't know how to clean or didn't care. He wet my windshield and wiped from the bottom up so the steaks weren't wiped away and then he never wiped the passenger side and left the water to dry. Overall satisfied as they did what I paid them to do and they were polite and professional regarding that. Stopped by for a quick oil change, unfortunately my oil plug ended up being stripped or something, wouldn't go in or come out, Tim was awesome In remedying the situation, installed a new oil pan, took the care to make sure it was sealed well, and went above n beyond, fixing a check engine light. Staff members are not professional. They were fighting with each other and throwing things at cars. The lady in the other car next to me and I looked at each other and just shook our heads. It took almost 2 hours to have a simple oil change. I was asked to pull into the garage and pop open the hood. A young staff member started asking me questions, got yelled at and left my car. A different staff member just asked me how many miles. Next conversation was asking for my credit card. I paid for the full service, and that's not what I got. They didn't even check the pressure in my tires. There is no leadership at this location. I will not come back, and I will not recommend this place. read more

I have taken my 2002 Ford F-250 to two oil change places to have my transfer case fluid changed. They both said they couldn't do it because my fill plug was stripped, and it would require a special tool to get it out which they didn't have. Today I took my truck to Jiffy Lube in Monroe WA and explained my situation to Tim Jolly who is the general manager there. He said he would try and get the plug out with the tools he had and was successful. He then proceeded to service my truck. I had a couple minutes to kill so I decided to pop in and get my oil changed. I was welcomed by Kendall and Chris. Both very professional and polite. As they went to work on the service I remained in the vehicle. They both were extremely meticulous and kept me informed of what they were doing next. Kendall showed me a filthy air filter and I said I had a spare at home. She said cool and just wanted me to know I really needed one. It was minutes later that Kendall asked for my payment option and applied a $12 coupon to the bill. jiffy lube wasted my time and will not receive service requests from me in the future. I dropped my car off for a routine oil change and wiper blade replacement along with my contact information. I informed them I had an appointment and would be back within an hour or so. 3 employees knew about this. I came back 1.5 hours later to find out they had not done service yet, even though I was next in line when I dropped off the car, because they needed more information from me. After questioning why I was not contacted initially when they had my contact information all that he could respond with was "ok". This is incredibly terrible customer service. I just discovered a serious issue which brought me to doubt if they actually did what they are suppose to. Their "Signature Service Oil Change" suppose to check all fluid levels. However, apparently my break fluid has been very low since before I went in for the oil change. While the service sheet clearly stated the break fluid was checked and was "full", the fact is just the opposite!! Now I am seriously wondering what else they lied to me??? read more

He performed the oil change without communication. I didn't ask for the tire rotation at that point. I would never trust this place to touch my car again. He didn't even fill my windshield fluid. As always sitting over the winter some critter (probably mice or shrew) made a gross nest under the hood. Went into Jiffy Lube in Monroe, was told by the attendant that it would be an hour wait because the staff is all at lunch. Came back two hours later and got right in. Told the attendant that I needed a basic oil change, new wiper blades, and a rear brake light. As I waited, the attendant told me he could not replace brake light because if it requires any tool beyond a screwdriver he needs to refer me to the dealership. He came back again and told me he could not replace wiper blades because he didn't have the right tool. We're talking about a Ford sedan here, not an exotic car. Paid my $50 bucks for the basic oil change and left. Got home to realize the car had not been vacuumed and I had 2 tires that were under-inflated. I will not be back. read more

My son just got royally burned by JL Monroe. Took his truck in- they said the differential fluid needed changing. Fine. He spent $300 getting oil and other fluids changed. 30 minutes after leaving heard a strange noise. Went to a mechanic- turns out the differential had a puncture in it. Long story short- his truck languished for more than a MONTH while we haggled (politely) with the management who put us through multiple layers of people to talk to. We explained that the problem just coincidentally coincided with the work their staff did. No response to multiple calls and emails this last week until finally they just said "No- we're not covering it". Poorly handled with negative resolution. Never going back. read more

We just moved to the Monroe area, but I've been getting the oil changed on my car at a number of Jiffy Lubes around the east side for the past 3 years since we moved to the area and the Jiffy Lube in Monroe is the best I've gone to yet. They didn't try to up-sale me on every little thing like an air filter, windshield wiper blades, etc. unlike the other Jiffy Lubes on the east side. What was really interesting is that they told me my air filter looked good to could go until my next visit, which is funny since the last Jiffy Lube I went to tried to get me to replace it .. glad I told the other place no! LOL! The service is very personable, professional and friendly. Feel very fortunate we have an honest place nearby where I don't feel I have to be on guard as a woman when I take my car in to get the oil changed. read more
