They were a little backed up but they made it easy to wait in my truck and stay there while they did the work. When I got to the rack, the oil change and lube was thorough and fast. They showed me the air filter that needed replacing. I asked for a couple of gallons of used motor oil that I wanted to preserve some wood fencing. They fixed me up and supplied the container at no charge. I've been going there for years and figured it was about time to give them a well deserved thumbs up. read more

I had my oil changed at the end of January, 2023 at the Monroe, WA location. I remained in my car for part of the time, but after listening to the supervisor yell and curse at the mechanics, telling them to hurry up because it was almost closing time, I felt uncomfortable and decided to walk and get a coffee. When I returned, they mentioned that I had a slight oil leak. What they didn't mention, which I didn't find out until my van began struggling up hills, chugging, shaking and shuddering, is that they overfilled the oil by at least a quart. It took about a week for me to notice that something was wrong, and I kept monitoring it to see if it got better or worse. It definitely got worse over the next month, so at the end of February, I went back to that location and asked them to drain out the excess oil. They were not very apologetic about their mistake, giving me an excuse that they didn't have the right size filter for my vehicle and that caused the oil volume to "appear" too high. They also told me "it's not really a big deal to have too much oil in your car--race cars do that intentionally". But they still offered a free fuel system cleaning, which took long enough that I had to go to the coffee shop again so I didn't have to sit there and listen to the supervisor or manager verbally abuse the mechanics. I couldn't tell who was in charge--there seemed to be two people in managerial positions--but one of them asked the other if he would test drive my car to see if the fuel cleaning helped at all. He did that, then came back and said it was still acting up when going up hills, but "seemed ok", or something like that. It is absolutely NOT OK, at all. My van is barely drivable, as it shudders when going up hills, doesn't want to accelerate, and there is a chugging sound coming out of the exhaust pipe. I cannot afford to pay for car repair, so I contacted Jiffy Lube's customer service and told them what was going on. They acted like they wanted to remedy the situation and asked me to forward them my invoices. They opened a damage claim and said an agent would contact me within 1-3 days. That was on March 4th, 2023. Today is March 21, and I still have not heard one word from anyone at Jiffy Lube regarding the alleged inspection they wanted to do to assess the damage. I have called and emailed many times and they continue to ignore me. I believe what they're doing is trying to force me to go get it fixed somewhere else, which will void their service warranty. I am holding out because I literally have no money to pay a shop, and because Jiffy Lube's warranty is supposed to cover any damages inflicted on our vehicles while in their care. My vehicle may need a new engine because of this. I'm afraid to drive it, and have not only missed several weeks of work from having no transportation, I just had to turn down two catering jobs which would have paid me enough to get a new car or van. I am also unable to get to my physical therapy and doctor appointments, which is causing me a lot of pain and stress. At this point, I am filling out the form to take this to small claims court. Jiffy Lube could at the very least contact me and tell me where they are in the process of addressing this claim, but no, they are completely blowing me off. I am disgusted by this unprofessionalism and should have known better than to go back to them for an oil change. In the past, the Kirkland employees put the wrong radiator cap on my car, causing all the water to boil out and leave me stranded on top of a mountain. The South Everett employees left tools inside my engine compartment which I didn't find for a few months when I noticed that my hood wasn't closing all the way. I didn't go back to JL for years because of this negligence and only went to the Monroe location out of convenience. I wrote a Google review after my visit in January because I thought the owner might like to know that his managers are abusing the other employees. But at that time, I was not aware that they had actually done damage to my engine. When I went back in February, they were rather dismissive and I felt like they were gaslighting me to shirk responsibility. I was annoyed by that, but nowhere near how enraged I am now that the corporation is just as unprofessional and ignores damage claims. There are plenty of other places to get your oil changed. And a plethora of bad reviews for Jiffy Lube all over the country. No one should waste their money supporting a company that facilitates negligence like this and refuses to be held accountable for it, despite what their warranty claims. The last thing I needed was to have to file a lawsuit, but they are leaving me no other option. The amount of money I feel I'm owed at this point is topping $8000, including all the lost income. I will not quit until I'm compensated for this loss, and I will not quit telling all the world about how horrible Jiffy Lube is, until they deal with me directly. read more

The wait was long but they did what I needed. An oil change. My air filter was beyond filthy and I asked them to replace that too. It was not in stock but they got it from the auto parts store and got me going on my way. My only complaint was the windshield washing. The guy didn't know how to clean or didn't care. He wet my windshield and wiped from the bottom up so the steaks weren't wiped away and then he never wiped the passenger side and left the water to dry. Overall satisfied as they did what I paid them to do and they were polite and professional regarding that. Stopped by for a quick oil change, unfortunately my oil plug ended up being stripped or something, wouldn't go in or come out, Tim was awesome In remedying the situation, installed a new oil pan, took the care to make sure it was sealed well, and went above n beyond, fixing a check engine light. Staff members are not professional. They were fighting with each other and throwing things at cars. The lady in the other car next to me and I looked at each other and just shook our heads. It took almost 2 hours to have a simple oil change. I was asked to pull into the garage and pop open the hood. A young staff member started asking me questions, got yelled at and left my car. A different staff member just asked me how many miles. Next conversation was asking for my credit card. I paid for the full service, and that's not what I got. They didn't even check the pressure in my tires. There is no leadership at this location. I will not come back, and I will not recommend this place. read more

I have taken my 2002 Ford F-250 to two oil change places to have my transfer case fluid changed. They both said they couldn't do it because my fill plug was stripped, and it would require a special tool to get it out which they didn't have. Today I took my truck to Jiffy Lube in Monroe WA and explained my situation to Tim Jolly who is the general manager there. He said he would try and get the plug out with the tools he had and was successful. He then proceeded to service my truck. Tim was professional, courteous and went out of his way to help me with my situation. My service experience was great! read more

I had a couple minutes to kill so I decided to pop in and get my oil changed. I was welcomed by Kendall and Chris. Both very professional and polite. As they went to work on the service I remained in the vehicle. They both were extremely meticulous and kept me informed of what they were doing next. Kendall showed me a filthy air filter and I said I had a spare at home. She said cool and just wanted me to know I really needed one. It was minutes later that Kendall asked for my payment option and applied a $12 coupon to the bill. jiffy lube wasted my time and will not receive service requests from me in the future. I dropped my car off for a routine oil change and wiper blade replacement along with my contact information. I informed them I had an appointment and would be back within an hour or so. 3 employees knew about this. I came back 1.5 hours later to find out they had not done service yet, even though I was next in line when I dropped off the car, because they needed more information from me. After questioning why I was not contacted initially when they had my contact information all that he could respond with was "ok". This is incredibly terrible customer service. I just discovered a serious issue which brought me to doubt if they actually did what they are suppose to. Their "Signature Service Oil Change" suppose to check all fluid levels. However, apparently my break fluid has been very low since before I went in for the oil change. While the service sheet clearly stated the break fluid was checked and was "full", the fact is just the opposite!! Now I am seriously wondering what else they lied to me??? read more

Paid $118. Had to wait until 1:30 as they close for lunch apparently. The employee said maybe three sentences to me. I wanted an oil change and tire rotation. He performed the oil change without communication. I didn't ask for the tire rotation at that point. I would never trust this place to touch my car again. He didn't even fill my windshield fluid. I always hate to see a business so badly managed as this. What a waste of somebody's capital. read more

Went into Jiffy Lube in Monroe, was told by the attendant that it would be an hour wait because the staff is all at lunch. Came back two hours later and got right in. Told the attendant that I needed a basic oil change, new wiper blades, and a rear brake light. As I waited, the attendant told me he could not replace brake light because if it requires any tool beyond a screwdriver he needs to refer me to the dealership. He came back again and told me he could not replace wiper blades because he didn't have the right tool. We're talking about a Ford sedan here, not an exotic car. Paid my $50 bucks for the basic oil change and left. Got home to realize the car had not been vacuumed and I had 2 tires that were under-inflated. I will not be back. read more

No appointment necessary, so it was easy to do after work. Also, they made sure that the cars that were there before me were serviced first. Everyone wore masks, and were very polite and efficient. My son just got royally burned by JL Monroe. Took his truck in- they said the differential fluid needed changing. Fine. He spent $300 getting oil and other fluids changed. 30 minutes after leaving heard a strange noise. Went to a mechanic- turns out the differential had a puncture in it. Long story short- his truck languished for more than a MONTH while we haggled (politely) with the management who put us through multiple layers of people to talk to. We explained that the problem just coincidentally coincided with the work their staff did. No response to multiple calls and emails this last week until finally they just said "No- we're not covering it". Poorly handled with negative resolution. Never going back. read more

I brought my car in to get the oil changed. While they were doing it they cracked my oil pan. Then blamed it on me saying that I had previously done it. All my oil drained out right after but they still lied about it and won't do anything to make it right. Biggest scam of a company! Do not go there!!! They are liars and scammers! We just moved to the Monroe area, but I've been getting the oil changed on my car at a number of Jiffy Lubes around the east side for the past 3 years since we moved to the area and the Jiffy Lube in Monroe is the best I've gone to yet. They didn't try to up-sale me on every little thing like an air filter, windshield wiper blades, etc. unlike the other Jiffy Lubes on the east side. What was really interesting is that they told me my air filter looked good to could go until my next visit, which is funny since the last Jiffy Lube I went to tried to get me to replace it .. glad I told the other place no! LOL! The service is very personable, professional and friendly. Feel very fortunate we have an honest place nearby where I don't feel I have to be on guard as a woman when I take my car in to get the oil changed. read more

The level of service at this particular location has slipped down hill dramatically in the last year. What was a solid 4 star auto care facility is lucky to receive 1 star today. My visit on December 1st was the final straw for this location... After arriving, there were two cars having work done. The first was an oil change and the second was having a belt replaced. The first attendant came out, told me I could wait inside and it would just be a few minutes until my truck would get done. This was the usual routine, so I went in and waited. After waiting for about 20 minutes, the first vehicle finished up and I expected mine to come in next, but another vehicle was rolled in first, and then another, and then another... About 45 minutes in, the movie Monsters Inc was started. I watched a few minutes or 20, before someone came in and I asked for an update. I was told they'd have it in soon. Another 45 minutes later, the same person told me just a few more minutes. Finally, 2 1/2 hours later my basic oil change was completed and I didn't even get an apology... Sad service.... read more

This jiffy lube is pathetic. I have tried to get my oil changed there several times and every time there's an issue. The mechanics that work there are incompetent. They refused to change my oil claiming that they "lost" the specific tool needed to change my oil. If you provide the service of oil changes, I expect you have the tools to get the job done for any car model and type. Another time they lied and claimed my bolts to my skid plate were striped and this was why they were unable to do my oil change and when I took it to the shop it was fine they were just useing the incorrect tool. Absolutely appaled by there customer service. They don't care at all for their customers, they just say no and turn you away. I am fed up with how they treat their customers and will never be going back to this jiffy lube ever again. Just aweful. read more
