I brought wheels in for them to mount and balance. After putting them on the vehicle I noticed a bad vibration at highway speeds. When I went in and told them that I think the balancing they did was off, I was told to make an appointment..... I didn't think it was right to have me have to leave my car all day again or make an appointment for them to fix their mistake. When I tried to make an appointment they were three days out. I don't usually give feedback but I feel something has really changed at the Monroe Les Schwab over the last 3-4 years. We have been long time customers there and in the beginning, had agreed with a lot of the 5 star reviews - they used to be honest, thorough, prompt and great with patches/fills/rotations etc. The last number of interactions have been what I would call, very transactional and sales pressurey - representatives sitting at the table while we are talking on the phone - hovering for sales, only absolutes when it comes to tires - always need new ones - never an option to wait. It has turned into what feels like a pushy sales place. Total turn off and has redirected our business to other places in Monroe. Pretty sad. read more

had broken pinion and tie rods pointed it out. The mechanic told my husband my car was still safe to drive three days later my entire tire rides broke and I ended up in a 7 foot ditch. I called them and they told me what do I want them to do so be the judge - this is the second time they mess with my family safety. The first time my tires were balding because they couldn't readjust my self adjusting shocks and my back alignment. I have been in and out of this place more than once it seems like every time I go there even for tire transition something else is wrong but when I have a real mechanic look at it, they don't even look at the pinion rods that were broken and snapped while I was putting a 7 foot Ditch next to the golf course- their lead mechanic told my husband that it was OK for me to drive if I heard the noise to bring it back instead of recommending me to go get my four-wheel-drive alignment and tell me it's not safe. I took my truck in today to get a nail removed from a tire and the hole patched, also to get the brakes checked. I made an appointment and was clear on the year make model, etc. I was told that the tire could not be patched because there wasn't enough tread and it would be against regulations to fix the leak. However, for a mere $2000 I could get new tires instead. (I measured the tread using the penny check, and the tread was deep enough to hide Lincoln's head down to his nose. Seriously how much tread do they want?) I was also told the front brakes needed to be serviced because the calipers might be "sticking". The rotors are fine. The pads are fine, but the calipers are old. Oh my. I was told on the phone that the rear brakes would be checked for free, but when I got there, I was told instead there would be $150 charge to check the rear brakes because they were "sealed", and unfortunately, there was not enough time to unseal them and check them before quitting time. I could, however, make an appointment to return another day, and make another 2 hour drive, to get them inspected. However, if they needed work, then it would take three days to get parts and regulations would not permit them to reassemble the old parts. Good grief. On the bright side, the technician was polite. I don't think I'll be going back to Monroe Les Schwab. read more

Had fantastic experience here, as I've had at other LST locations. Had to get a slow leak repaired, I wheeled it up to the door, waited to be helped by (David I think?), who was quick, professional, said he'd take care of the tire and it would be a couple hours. Verified I was in the system. Sure enough, got a call 2 hrs later, but I couldnt pick up till next day. They found a nail in it! wow. Anyway, there was no charge, I guess since we're regular customers, even tho that tire wasnt purchased there. But you can bet my next purchase will be here. Great service! COVID19 protocols pretty good, staff wearing masks, signage clearly stating masks be worn, but they did work with a customer who wasnt wearing one - sorry, that makes older folk like me a little worried, especially here in Monrovia. read more

I had a bad morning driving to work, popped a tire from a nail and had to catch a ride. Called different auto shops to see if they could patch me up. No one in the immediate area did so I had to get a tow to somewhere. Called Les Schwab and they said they could patch it and that they'd do it for free? I towed it there expecting to pay a small fee at the least but nope, they patched it and I was back on the road about 2 hours after I got off work. Didn't charge me for it. I really wanted to give Les Schwab another 5 stars after a positive experience at other locations, but after my absolutely awful experience, there's no way I can give anything more than the 1 star minimum. Les Schwab in Monroe has lost both my trust and my business. I get that when rating service businesses like this, it really depends on who works on your car, but I think after multiple strikes, I can't cut them any more slack. First off, I went to Les Schwab because my TPMS light was on and figured I should get a tire rotation while I was there since I bought my tires from Les Schwab originally. Upon arriving, an employee tapped on my window when I parked to inquire about why I was there. While I sort of appreciated the responsiveness, which was unexpected, I was excited to have someone take a look at my car. The front desk person was very friendly and directed me to the waiting area. I did not receive a quote on the wait time, but the way I was greeted by the outdoor employee and then the front desk employee, it felt like I wouldn't be there very long. They just told me to have a seat, and they'd take care of everything. Problem #1: 1.5 hours later, I reached out to the front desk employee to let them know I hadn't been quoted a time, but was waiting for a while. They said my car would be next but didn't seem apologetic for the already 1.5 hours I had been waiting without an estimate. Note that from entrance to exit, I was at Les Schwab for a little over 3 hours, and no one seemed to care, even though I was one of the only people in the waiting area the whole time. After another 30 minutes, an employee let me know my front tires were bald because I didn't get them rotated soon enough and encouraged me to purchase new tires. This didn't bother me or seem overly sales, so I went ahead and bought the front tires. I was assured by the guy giving me the quote and then the front desk person when I went to pay that they would be rotated as well. That's the other reason I came in. Problem #2: When I went to pay for my tires, the front desk employee let me know that I declined brake repair even though my brakes were nearly worn out. The employee working on my car never informed me of this, even though the front desk employee said they did(?). If they had, I would have went ahead and gave them more business and gotten it taken care of. By the time I paid (which at this point was 3 hours after arrival since you pay when the service is complete), I wasn't in the mood to wait another hour to get it taken care of. Problem #3: My TPMS light was still on after I drove away. When I was paying, I had the front desk employee check with the service employee to make sure my sensors were fine, which they said were good. If a sensor was indeed inspected and associated problems were taken care of, then the light on the dashboard would not have still been on. Usually the particular light on my dashboard indicates a faulty sensor. Again, the TPMS light in my car was the reason I went into Les Schwab in the first place, and even that wasn't resolved. Problem #4: I will admit that I don't know much about cars, so I really want to trust the employees working there. Big mistake! When I got home, my boyfriend noticed the new tires were on the front. This means my tires were not rotated like they claimed (and was the second reason I went in). I feel taken advantage of and am extremely upset. Neither my TPMS light nor the rotation of my tires were resolved. After all these issues, I do not trust this brand to take care of my car and have now booked a different automotive company to look over my car and fix my light, look at my brakes, and see if there's anything else wrong with my car. If you look at my reviews, you will notice I rarely write 1-star reviews (I think fewer than 5 total). I hate writing them, but after yesterday's awful experience, there's no way I can give Les Schwab of Monroe anything more than the bare minimum. Tesla dealership was not helpful at all so I left and made an apt for les schwab closest to my house. Night and day difference when it comes to courtesy and professionalism. Dropped off our company truck to have the rear brakes, rotors and calipers replaced. They kept it a couple days get the parts. We called a couple days later and they said the work was done and we can pick it up. Went to get our truck, paid for the work, received the paperwork for what was done and drove off. Got to the house and rear brakes were making a noise. Brought it back for them to see what the issue was to find out the work was never done even though they told us it was and paperwork saying it was completed. Manager had no explanation why that happened. This is totally unacceptable and should have never happened. Could have gone very bad if an accident occurred thinking the brakes were replaced. Left the truck there again for them to actually do the work. No discount for this major screwup and loss of time without our company truck. We'll never use this place again. Also wrote to corporate with absolutely no response or concerns that this happened. read more

I drove over to this location after the Snohomish Les Schwab told me it would be a 2 hour wait just to get my tire looked at; called Monroe and they told me I could be seen within 30 minutes. They actually run out to your car here to see how they can assist you, and they pulled my car up for an initial evaluation right away. When I had a flat that couldn't be repaired due to a tire in the sidewall, there was no pressure to purchase tires from them. Well to start they broke a perfectly good working window and won't do anything about it or even look at it to see what they can do. Then after having them do the brakes for me after 16 miles later they started to lock up again. Sorry to say this store has lost a customer. Take care of the customer and they will take care of you in return. Update: 3/20/19 Finally got back to me with bad news that they won't even help fix or look at vehicle. Myself and plenty of others I know will now be taking our business to other competitors. Definitely done waiting and being jerked around by this company in decline. I was in last winter 2019, they did everything they could to help me with my tires, alignment etc. I know they are more expensive than a couple other tire stores, but to me they are definitely worth it. They helped me get credit through them, because I was broke and couldn't afford everything they had to do to fix my truck. They did there best & I really appreciate that, I would definitely recommend this place! The only reason 4 & not a 5 is because some of the stuff is very expensive. I bought my tires from there knowing their warrantee. I came it with a tire that I bought 2 years previously with a slow leak. They told me that the tire could not be fixed but they could get me a new one for 95 bucks because they had no used tires that would fit. I'm cynical at went to another tire shop in Monroe. To see if the tire was unfixable. They said it was damaged but it could be fixed but they couldn't guarantee that it would last long. I ended up getting two tires for 90.00 bucks. Used, they had as much tread as the two new tires on the front that I bought in May 2019. However I am giving them a 3 because it was busy and they got to my car quickly and the employees were pleasant.
