    This is a good Firestone location. I made an appointment online for the exact day and time I wanted, this is not always the case for all Firestone locations, most of my experiences I have a hard time getting the day and time I want. The drop-off and pick-up of my vehicle was seamless. They did a great job servicing my car, I will definitely visit this location again, for my auto needs.

    Zero stars for the employees at Firestone in Mill Creek (I think someone named Erin changed my tire). I have had to visit fire stone, a couple times prior due to an emergency and after this visit, my family and I have decided to never go again. After a very difficult morning, getting a flat tire from a giant nail, I stopped at Firestone since it was the closest place to my home and had two small kids in our car. When I picked up my vehicle, my tire was found in the backseat as photos are shown as you can see, I have light colored seats, but even if I had dark colored seats, I would be extremely upset that my filthy tire that has touched. God knows what is literally laying on my children's car seats and on my light colored interior. I'm incredibly shocked and I am upset they even had the audacity to charge me after I'll now have to pay much more just to detail this mess. Do better Firestone people!!!

    Based on other reviews, this isn't the most popular business. It rates at 2.6 stars with 135 or so reviews on Yelp as I write this. So maybe it's how the stars align on any given day. My experience was definitely five stars. I called two other reputable auto shops who wanted to replace my 2014 Subaru Crosstrek Limited air conditioner compressor without even seeing the vehicle. Firestone offered an initial inspection and recommendations, so I brought the car to them. In the first hour, they diagnosed the issue as leaking o-rings and asked if I wanted to replace them and recharge the system. I assumed the 10-year old rubber needed to be replaced, but I worried there might be other issues. There weren't. O-rings replaced and AC fixed. Many other shops would have replaced elements that were not defective. Firestone performed honest auto care and I'm both grateful and impressed. So, yeah, five stars from me. Kudos to Jack, Mia and the team.

I called ahead to ask if they could press a wheel bearing if I brought in just the hub, and the woman on the phone (Mel, Stef, something like that) told me yes, no problem, and that it could be done by the end of the next day. I made it clear it was urgent. I drop it off and suddenly she's not sure if they can do it, because she doesn't know enough about the process and people who know weren't there since it was late? I don't hear back the next day, so I call them around 4PM, only to find out they hadn't even touched it yet. Then she hits me with a $250 quote to press in a bearing on a loose hub. I'm a former master-certified mechanic with 8 years in dealership service. That job is a $40-50 job max. There's no excuse for that number except price-gouging someone who doesn't know better. I immediately picked it up and took it to B-Line Automotive, two minutes away. They did the job same day, on time, and charged me THIRTY DOLLARS. No stress, no confusion. The woman at Firestone seemed totally overwhelmed every time I spoke with her. This location clearly lacks competent staffing. Either you have a press or you don't--there's no mystery here. I'll never bring anything back to this Firestone again. Total waste of time and trust. Pictures showing me going to firestone, then B-Line. And my receipt from B-Line for $30.

My tire was really low again. I tried putting air in it and I could hear the air coming out somewhere so I ended up taking it to Firestone And they showed me my tire had a huge tear in the side on the seal bead because the Les Schwab tech stretched it or tore it and didn't make mention of it. The tech at Firestone is awesome for finding that and I wanna make mention Mike at the front counter Was very knowledgeable. Helpful in getting the job done correctly. He had a good sense of humor and was funny and I highly recommend Firestone for your mechanic work.

I was planning to take my car in for an oil change and to have them look at the tires (one has been leaking). The morning I went to take it in, it gave me a hard time starting so I asked them to look at that too. NOTE: I was able to drive the car in to the shop with no problem. Since break inspections are free and I had heard a bit of squeaking, I asked them to check the breaks while they had my car (a 2005 Dodge Durango). We were quoted $208 for the diagnostic, an oil change and having 4 tires sealed. The next day we were told that the truck needed $2100 put in to it. Johnny was "shocked" the brakes even work because the pads were so worn and the rotors were shot. He told us we needed battery CABLES - that BOTH of them needed to be replaced, along with the battery. They also told us that all 4 tires needed to be replaced immediately and that one would likely blow soon which would obviously be dangerous since we have a 5 month old baby we drive around in the vehicle. I called the used car dealership (Carson Cars) where I bought the vehicle 4 1/2 months ago and talked to them. They assured me that things like brakes and batteries are checked before a car is sold and offered to have their mechanics take a look at the issues and give us another quote. The quote for the repairs (including 4 new tires, just like the quote from Elliot): less than $700!! These are the lies I was told by Johnny and the other staff at Elliot that were disproven by Carson Cars' inspection: 1) "The brake pads are shot" - CRAP. They are 50% worn and do not need to be replaced until 30-35%. This means I have another 6-12 months of use. 2) "The rotors are cracked" - CRAP. They had rust built up in to them but nothing is wrong with them. 3) "The battery cables are shot and both need to be replaced" - CRAP. The battery cables are completely fine. They needed to be cleaned up and I did need a new battery but both battery cables do not go out at the same moment on a car that is 8 years old. 4) "You need 4 new tires RIGHT NOW or it isn't safe." - CRAP. I do need 4 new tires, but only the back 2 are urgent. I called Johnny after going to the service center and he tried back pedaling. He said that he never told me we needed a battery...then why is it on the quote? I am even more upset because my husband's truck "needed" $1500 worth or work there less than 2 weeks ago. Now I wonder how much of that work was actually necessary. I cannot believe Elliot Tires employs unethical people out to take money from honest customers. I am a Special Education Teacher for a Public School District. I don't have money for $2100 worth of repairs when really less than $700 is necessary. -Shellie Bittner

(O'Reilly didn't have the tools to open my fob and it felt like customer service over there were having a not so great day; tone and stuff were not welcoming...) Autozone has the small tools needed to open the key fob since it's a very small screw. As soon as we walked in, they were friendly! We met up with Jose who was humorous! He inputted the battery for FREE!! Unfortunately they didn't have anymore batteries here but we will be back and owe him some tacos! Hahaha Jose is so nice and helpful! Please keep him!     When I walked in I wasn't greeted. That's fine though, i'm not sensitive. But as I walked around…read morethe store, this one employee(who failed to greet me) walked right past me as I was looking for an item. I couldn't find the performance tool fluid pump. So after looking for a bit, I went to the counter where a very nice guy helped me out after helping someone else. But before that occurred, this same employee who wasn't in uniform looked at me and walked into the break room they have behind the counter in between the storage isles. That is when I started playing the video of me waiting there. Not only did he not ask me if I needed help finding anything, he also left his coworker to handle the other customer and myself. The nice employee helped me find where it was in the store, but unfortunately they were out of stock. 3 stars goes to the gentleman who helped me. Minus 2 stars for the employee with the pony tail and lack of inventory. There is a picture of the problem employee attached to this review.
