We were seated immediately and had a very friendly waiter who was happy to discuss the menu with us and chat about Denver. He was very nice and helpful. We got the pretzel bites for an appetizer. This ain't something that I would normally get, but we very much enjoyed them. We decided to split a pizza and glad that we did as it was more than enough for the 2 of us especially after having an appetizer. I don't remember the pizza that we got, but it was the one with the Brussels sprouts. It was very unique and had an excellent flavor. I would happily get their pizza again! This place takes the cake for brunch!!! We always know the original Esters is super busy on the weekends so we decided to try out the new Esters location and it was great! No wait at all and even by the time we left around 11:30 there was still plenty of tables left! There's two Esters and this is their second one. My first thought when I walked in was wow! This thing is huge! But first Esters is not anybody's name. It refers to the Esterification Process in making beers. It is the fruity flavor during fermentation than can vary in taste and aroma between pears, rises, bananas or other light fruits. When it's very high it can produce a solvent like flavor. It's formed in beer by the "esterification" of ethanol which is the primary alcohol in ber I have no doubt size won't matter here. Esters crew will fill this place up! Like I said before I like nooks. Especially a nook that's not too obvious. Where the place is subtly divided by chairs or an obvious one a bar. Yet it still feels like you're not lost all alone in the back. My favorite spot was the communal table in the middle of the room right behind the hostess. It offers great view of everybody. Lots of natural light all around. A heated patio as well that can be opened during sunny days. What I'm happy to share is that they have really yummy food. Like their pizza paired with their Kale Salad for $7+ was amazing. Or their Hot Italian Sandwich paired with their Winter Kale Salad was soo good! Imbibe? Their Potenza and Oneida cocktails are ones that you must try. Particularly the former. It's got Tanteo Jalapeño, tequila, fresh lime , cucumber and agave! Oh my! But you know how there's always one dish that gets you? For me it's their Brussels and Cauliflower. $11. It's so worth it. It's a very reasonable amount and is shareable. It's roasted Brussel Sprouts. Roasted Cauliflower, Phatty Bacon Nugs, Parmesan, bread crumbs and yum yum sauce. The secret? Those Phatty Bacon Nugs from Tender Belly! A tad crunchy and perfectly seasoned to blend in with the double trouble Brussels and Cauliflower. Brussels Sprouts alone gets boring after a while but mix that with the Cauliflower and bam! Those two earthy combo tasted like meat if I close my eyes! For this alone I will come back! The amazing staff who felt like they really like where they're working and to the amazing invisible person with the new ride:) and manning the kitchen and the menu and many more prob. I got in late to my hotel, and the hotel bar was having a rough night, so I called around to see what was still open. The person who answered here was super sweet, and confirmed that they wouldn't hate me if I came in 20 minutes before food last call. I sat at the bar and was IMMEDIATELY helped. The bartender was SO sweet and helpful. I ended up getting the bahn mi with tofu and OMG. She recommended it and it was so good, better than I would have gotten anywhere else after 9PM on a Sunday. The bread was to toasty, the tofu was marinated and flavorful, and all the toppings went so well. My only complaint is how big it was! I couldn't eat it all and the side it came with! I also got their current ice cream, which was Cookie Monster, and omg it was so good. I only got one scoop, but could have eaten multiple. The old fashioned was also great, high quality cocktail. Decided to take a friend to a spot I've been to before and what a great idea it was! I wasn't sure what I had a taste for and many places I found that sounded good were not close by. I happened to pass by the Esters at Oneida listing on Yelp, and remembered how great the food and service was last time. I love being able to revisit a restaurant I've been to before and have had an awesome experience at once, and have a great experience there again. I had big shoes to fill this being my friend and I's first time hanging out, I didn't want them to think I had bad tastes in restaurants. Ester's did not disappoint! Tyus, our server, was friendly and took care of every request we had with a smile. He gave knowledge on what drinks and food items he recommended, and what was good about each item. I loved how he knew the menu so well, he knew what items to recommend for various people's taste preferences. I ordered the Meridian. It had a hint of tartness from the lemonade. I wish it was more tart; however, I can say it had Cream of Violetta in it and I was worried it would be oddly creamy, but that was not the case at all. To be very honest, I didn't notice any hints of creaminess in the beverage which made me happy. I built my own pizza, the same as last time, only I was not as dumb by pouring my pizza full of those hot peppers. The pizza crust had the perfect amount of crisp to it, and all of the toppings I chose blended well making my mouth and stomach crave more! If you like experimenting with flavor profiles, ask for a side of honey. Your pizza paired with the hot pepper flakes and the sweetness of the honey fulfill so many things in pizza and food in general, that you never knew you needed until you taste it. The Prince Caspian was the recommendation. I'm usually a cheese and pepperoni pizza eater, so I wasn't sure. But it was aces all the way! Our first visit to the new park hill location was just a happy hour with appetizers. The atmosphere is buzzing and it's such a fresh addition to our neighborhood restaurants. Cheddar pretzels are delicious. The Hummus plate is wonderful, the flavor is right up my alley. I love the Greek twist on it. Also the nachos are great too! Been back a couple times . Once after Christmas, my brother and I went in for a sit-down on Sunday. We learned they run brunch menu on weekends, which I'm sure is great but we both wanted that sweet weekday lunch special deal. Anyways, we ended up ordering a Mikey and two salads. I'll tell you the truth right now - this was the best pepperoni pizza in my memory banks. Not greasy, just enough cheese, great ronis. And their in house dried red pepper has some real spice kick. 5 star pizza, hands down. Tonight [Takeout ordering was safe, support these folks!] - I went for the Divided Sky, with vegan sausage and both fresh and shredded real mozz, red peppers, and caramelized onions. Tasted good, but a little unbalanced. The tip of each slice are a bit of a collapsing mess none of them are holding up due to the amount of toppings and/ or cheese. Any fresh mozz taste is kind of erased by everything else. And had I read more carefully I would have subbed in raw red onion for the caramelized. with those sweet red peppers, I need some sharp bite and not more sweet. Spicy vegan sausage was unevenly distributed, and the rounds were a bit on the thick side. I tried a bit alone- #1 it's not spicy at all. Look, I'm not expecting the greatness of real pepperoni, but on the other hand I'm not sure it's bringing much to the table except texture. I think Divided Sky is a 3-4 star pizza, but there's room for improvement. Keep the middle of the pie firm and crispy, ease up on the cheese, give me thinner slices of the veggie sausage more generously broadcast across this thing. read more

I got the tofu bahn mi with a side salad with the champagne poppyseed vinaigrette. I was up-charged for the berry salad because that salad has the same dressing. I asked for a correction and got a refund, but got the berry salad with cheese and candied nuts. I guess some people would like the free upgrade but I did not want cheese or nuts. I then went to eat my sandwich and it was completely charred. They were super responsive and helped correct the situation. It's so nice having Esters in the neighborhood. Staff is super friendly. They have a great draft list with tons of craft beer options. I usually go for one of their pizzas- but they also have really large salads and sandwiches. My brother and father both got the meatball sub and both approved. I really enjoy all the TVs with different sports on, I haven't been during the summer/spring but it looks like they have a great patio, they have it covered and heated during the winter, seemed to be a lot of people eating outside.
