I love Esters. I've tried a ton of dishes there and honestly nothing has been a disappointment. Some of my favorites are Esters nachos, the of the earth pizza, and the chicken Caesar wrap with bbq chicken. Their salads are also always so good. The produce is super fresh and their combos are usually surprising. For example, I just recently had their seasonal green goddess salad and it had farfalle pasta noodles which was so fun. Some of their menu is seasonal, so get what you like before it rotates out! The Oneida park spot is really cute. I love the interior and they have a great covered patio for more all-weather seating. Parking is always fairly easy as you can park in the nearby neighborhoods if needed. read more

I admit, I was disappointed by my first visit to Esters. I was excited to try their famed pizzas, but a gluten-free crust alone was $18, before even adding any toppings! My son had a very small kids' pizza, while my husband ordered the salmon salad and complained that the salmon tasted canned. I ended up with just a drink, as there was essentially nothing gluten free and vegan on the menu I could eat. The service and ambiance were perfectly fine, but overall, the experience was very average given all the hype. I'm in no rush to return. Update: The owner's response explains the sourcing and pricing, but doesn't really address the substance of my review. These claims don't change the fact that an $18 gluten-free crust before toppings, a very small kids' pizza, and essentially no options that were both gluten-free and vegan made for a disappointing experience. Likewise, I didn't claim the salmon *was* canned, I said my husband thought it tasted canned. It certainly was flaked and looked like it came straight out of a can. We stopped by Esters Oneida Park on a Friday evening around 6 p.m., and the place was pretty busy. There was about a 20-minute wait, but it went by quickly since we were able to grab drinks at the bar and hang out outside while waiting for our table. The whole atmosphere here is very family-friendly. There's a large open outdoor area where kids were running around and playing, and being right next to a soft serve spot makes it even better for families. Inside, it had a great sports bar vibe without feeling overwhelming. They had all the NBA and NHL playoff games on, and I could easily see myself coming back here to catch a game and grab food with friends. The beer selection was also solid, with a nice variety of local breweries and ciders. For food, we started with the roni rolls, which were really good. The portion isn't huge, but it's perfect for sharing between 2-4 people. The menu mentions allowing extra time for them to come out, but ours arrived surprisingly quickly. We also split a half Caesar salad, which was pretty standard but worked well as a lighter course between appetizers and pizza. The highlight was definitely the Catapult pizza -- really flavorful and absolutely worth ordering. Would definitely recommend the pizzas here overall. For dessert, we went with the brownie skillet sundae based on our waiter's recommendation. It's basically like a smaller brownie version of a pizookie. The edges were a little overdone from the hot skillet, but overall it was still really good. If you're a brownie fan or just have a sweet tooth, it's definitely worth trying. Not to be dramatic but this is my new favorite place in Denver! I stumbled upon Esters looking for a place to watch football on a Sunday... and I'm glad I did! Three of us went and sat outside during a pleasant day. Our server was Mikayla and as we told her - she was one of the best servers I've had in Denver. She was attentive and remembered our drink order when we wanted a refill. It was all around a great dining experience. But, the food is also a star! The nachos were incredible. We also got the skillet brownie which was a 10/10 and as a Cincinnati native, I had to try the coney (available on Sundays during Bengals games) which I gave my own stamp of approval. Awesome casual restaurant with great service and good vibes! We went there for dinner. It was packed. There's a lot of seating, but this place is very popular. We waited about 20 minutes, so not bad. We got the berry salad and it was delicious. It included a green that was like couscous, and I really liked the added texture to the light and fresh salad. Then we got the catapult and Bliss pizzas. They were both very yummy, but I personally liked the cattle catapult better. Prices were very reasonable. There's a bunch of TVs to. I can imagine watching sports games here. I've dined in here a few times and I can honestly say the food is REALLY good. Everything I've ordered so far has been delicious, and I'm constantly thinking about the green goddess salad. It's super refreshing and full of greens - yum! I've also tried the chicken wings, and they are pretty crispy (which I prefer!) without me even asking for them to come crispy. The ranch is just ok (I'm a big ranch fan so a little harder critic for ranch sauces), it's thicker and I prefer a lighter ranch dip. The house margarita is decent. I've also tried the Fee pizza, and it was delicious. The roni rolls are also super yummy. The service here is hit or miss, which is the reason for 4 stars. The space is super big and there's an outdoor patio. If you're coming with kids, there's a large play space outside and an ice cream shop next door. Super family friendly. We were on vacation and needed a dinner spot that wouldn't be torture for our kids who are 5 and 8. This place was perfect!! The kids got some colored dough to play with at the table which was a nice change of pace from crayons and a coloring sheet, and out back there was a huge area for them to run with a bunch of toys. Very kid-friendly with lots of other families. Food was great. The margarita was especially tasty and not too sweet. I got the green goddess salad which was also delicious. I tried Esthers Oneida Park for dinner last night and it was so good! Three of us split multiple dishes in order to try many things. We started with the seasonal peanut butter and jelly wings, which were coated with an Asian peanut sauce and strawberry habanero jam. It was so good! Not too sweet and certainly flavorful! I ordered a seasonal gin basil smash and my partner got a strawberry frozen margarita. Both drinks were delicious and high quality! Again, not too sweet. For entree- we split a large green goddess salad and two pizzas. The green goddess salad consisted of a variety of chopped vegetables and pasta which created a great texture and nutrition profile. The Bliss pizza was topped with potato and pesto. It was delicious! We also got a supreme pizza, and taste was great. The crust was bouncy and tasty. The pizzas are 12 inch and I think two people could split one pizza if they are moderately hungry. We certainly had leftovers of pizza, as we ordered a lot of food! I really loved Esters! It's a chef-driven menu with tremendous taste and quality. Price point was average for the portions. We spent $115 on food, including two cocktail and two high noon seltzers. Went with some friends and I am really not sure why I was expecting more. I ordered the Nachos, wife had the Italian sandwich, and daughter got a pizza. Service was attentive, thorough, and prompt, and the ambience was OK. The food came out and it was pretty mid all the way through. Nothing was bad and the portions were OK, but none of the dishes really stood out. I will say that their take on an Italian sandwich is creative but not spectacular for a second time and will definitely not scratch the itch if you are craving a traditional Italian Sandwich. The pizza obviously used good ingredients but the sauce, while unique, was still more acidic than I like and a bit lacking in being robust enough to pull the pizza together. As for the Nachos, from the store bought cheap tortilla chips that were burnt and not hardy enough to maintain integrity to the uninspired toppings, it was the biggest disappointment of our meal. we came during a busy time, had a short wait to sit inside which was totally fine. our food and service was good, but my issue is with the flies. there was an insane amount of flies, like 30 flies, all swarming the inside of the window we were next to and then coming around our food. Two of us ended up with dead flies in our drinks. the other table near us was constantly swatting them away too. Esters is a great pizza place with multiple locations. This location at Oneida Park (business center) has lots of parking and a spacious dining area. Tonight I sat on the patio area which it was a beautiful evening to do so. Would recommend to staff to turn on the patio lights sooner as we were eating in the dark for a bit. Additionally, this location in particular is well patronized by families- seemingly with all kids 5 years old or younger. All well and good, except unfortunately some parents treat it as a free for all so I personally find the loud, messy, and out of control kids a nuisance. Picture yourself in one of the playrooms McDonalds used to have. If you are among only adults wanting an enjoyable yet casual place for evening dinner and drinks, I would suggest a different location or different restaurant. From personal experience, standouts among the food menu include the nachos, and for pizzas- the fee, the catapult, and the ya mar. Pizzas are reasonably priced. Crust sometimes seems unremarkable or with burnt spots, but combination of topping flavors is excellent. The menu also offers salad and sandwich options, and a full bar menu is available too. A very good pizza place/pub in the Oneida shopping area, right next door to Dang Soft Serve. They have both indoor and outdoor shaded seating, perfect in more moderate weather. The pizza is solid with great flavored crust and sauce. I have been a few times for dinner but recently came for the lunch special. This Esters location has a cute, botanic vibe and is located in Oneida Park with other fun shops. Very friendly and attentive service. HH runs 3-6pm T-Fri and all day M with $1 off wells, wine, and drafts. Their hummus plate is a fun hummus bowl filled with Greek veggies of onions, tomatoes, olives, and a Greek yogurt vinaigrette with warm pita on the side. Pizza is a must here. Lots of options or build your own. We chose the Catapult. The toppings of house made pizza sauce and sausage, mozzarella, caramelized onions, and peppadews were full of flavor - just wish the crust was cooked a bit more or a little thicker to hold up to some of the heaviness of the toppings. My husband and I are regulars here - always picking up takeout to enjoy at home. Their meatballs, wings, and pizzas are all delicious. You can request to have all wings if you're a wing person, which is great. We typically customize their existing pizzas so it was disappointing that on our last order, I had ordered the Fluffhead pizza and paid extra to add roasted garlic. But when I opened the box, it was a plain pizza (no sauce) with just shredded parmesan cheese and basil - so missing the sauce, mozzarella cheese, and roasted garlic. I was pretty upset so ended up calling them to let them know - even though the ticket on the box had the correct order. They apologized and said they would refund the pizza. I had asked if I would receive a confirmation of the refund and they said no - so I trusted that they would follow through. Unfortunately, I have yet to see that refund even though its been well over a week. Its unfortunate because we do enjoy this place but they definitely need to make sure orders are correct and follow through with their promises. read more

Let's say someone invited me to dinner in a group format and the restaurant (being Esther's) was already decided on. I would go. We had Breakfast Pizza and The FEE pizza for our entrees. The breakfast pizza was good, but the FEE pizza was amazing. We wished we had ordered two of those instead. Also ordered a side Cesar Salad and it was good and large for being a side. They have root beer on tap and it is so good, great flavor, but pricy. $5 for a glass that was filled with ice and no refills. Ask for one with no ice if you order it. Bloody Mary bar was available. Esters is the sort of classic, reliable joint that everyone would love to have in their neighborhood. It's great for families, or watching the game, or just a casual dinner out with friends. Unfortunately for me, I'm a few neighborhoods over, but I have made my way there a handful of times, always to good results. The pizza has a thinner, but sufficiently substantial crust with a pleasant chew. Their preset topping combos are super interesting; I've really enjoyed the Lawn Boy, Bliss, and Prince Caspian. I finally tried the Of the Earth (once riding solo without my mushroom abstaining partner in pizza), and that was excellent as well. (The mushroom types were very diverse, and I was told by the server one of their employees has a mushroom business they use to source them!) I've had several salads there as well, and they're always very substantial in size and thoughtful with the ingredient selection. I've tried the GF pizza with a celiac friend before too, and she was pretty impressed. (I do think that doesn't travel nearly as well though, so keep in mind). Great casual place to come grab a beer and good food. Decent prices as well. Tried the Ya Mar pizza and it was actually delicious. Its a good size pizza enough to share with two people. The flavor of the pizza and the crust was really good. The small Caesar salad was probably the best salad I had. The dressing is made with anchovies (like it should be) and so it was delicious! We had some of the best customer service we've had in a while. Deisha (hope I'm spelling this right) was super attentive, and made us feel as if she genuinely cared that we had the best experience. Hits the spot! There is a reason they have a 4.5 stars! I had a great experience here. Came with my boyfriend after a long Tuesday at work. It was packed and busy, but they have so many tables they were able to seat us immediately. This would be a great spot for big groups as they have so much room! Plenty of indoor and outdoor tables also with what seems like hundreds of TVs. Something to watch for everyone. We were hungry so we got a lot of food for the two of us. The half Caesar salad was refreshing and crisp. That came out first with the meat balls very quickly in like 5-6 minutes. The meatballs were good, but they did have Chef Boyardee nostalgic kind of taste. The pizza was the true winner. The Margaritta was good however the pepperoni pizza was the winner.
