Visiting Denver for work and this local place did not disappoint. Great ambiance. The service was helpful and friendly, but not overbearing. The menu is full of creative and unique offerings. It offered a wide array of pizza selections that cover the basic crowd favorites and intriguing combinations for the more adventuresome eaters. The crust was delicious and just the right thickness. It was crispy and still had a little doughy bite. The Fee was a delicious version of the typical bbq menu selection. The Lawn Boy was delicious who knew Brussel sprouts would be so delicious on a pizza. The drinks were tasty. Offering an old fashioned with a local Whiskey is a nice touch. read more

Came here for date night - Ester's one of my favorite restaurants in Denver and I have frequented their location on Holly so it was only natural for me to try their newer location at Oneida park. I love the space and the open seating areas. Their beer list is good. We shared the fat tire nachos and the prince caspian which are my two go to's. Will continue to be a diehard fan as usual. read more

Esters has been one of my favorite pizza joints for some time now! I love their new pizza flavors and beers. However, tonight I had not such a good experience... A new host, looked to be around 20 with black hair, I think her name was Nora, was very rude and irritable right when I walked in. We have been here multiple times - great atmosphere- spacious open clean and friendly spot! Overall we have had only good experiences at both locations- this one is just a bigger easier place to navigate. The food ranges from brunch to pizza to salads and sandwiches. All of the food I've had here has been very good- nachos and the salads are especially yummers! I appreciate having this great restaurant available for a meet up in local neighborhoods of Denver! This place was *this* close to 4 stars and is a solid pizza contender. I had the Catapult pizza which both the toppings and crust were great. The problem was the sauce--I wasn't sure it was even there. A shame really because everything else was so good. If I was to go again (and I would give it another try), I'd definitely ask for extra sauce. read more

I have been here several times with my family or friends. Everyone always loves what they order. The pizza is amazing as are the appetizers, salads, sandwiches. I really love their summer roasted vegetable salad. I went 3 times in a week just to get that salad! They have become our go to place recently. It's nice that my teenagers love to come here too! We are in town for a lacrosse tournament, and found Ester's on Yelp. So glad we did. Being from the Sacramento/Bay area, we are pretty snobby regarding food and craft beer/cocktails. Ester's did not disappoint! Our daughter is a Buffalo sauce connesieur and she immediately pegged theirs as house made. The Prince Caspian pizza was awesome as was the beet and carrot salad. The Saison beer was delicious as was the sticky toffee cake. The atmosphere and staff were great, too! read more

Great space that is much larger than it looks from the outside. Extensive beer selection that is fairly priced, but is a better deal from 3-6 or after 9 if you do happy hour. Pizza was very good and reasonably priced at $10 for a cheese pizza that feeds two. read more

We have been waiting for a neighborhood bar since we moved into the area 5 years ago. We went on Sunday night and had such a great time! We ordered 2 apps, the meatballs and the cauliflower...delicious! The beer list looked solid, had lots of local items and all types of beers. I got their rose special, $15 for a bottle which I was able to take home with me since I didn't drink all of it. Such a friendly staff and well organized; didn't notice any hiccups. We ran into some neighborhood friends, which just sealed the deal of us loving our new local hang out! Can't wait to go back, their patio looks amazing. Summer can't come quick enough! read more

I cannot tell you what a wonderful experience I had at esters. We brought a full team of 16-year-old boys and their families in to watch a soccer game on TV. I called ahead to ensure we would sit near televisions and they could be set to the right game. the staff was so kind and accommodating. So much so we're going back tomorrow for brunch. Everyone enjoyed their meal from the hummus and nachos appetizers, salads and pizzas.. we were a party of 28 and everyone enjoyed their meals if that doesn't say it all!!!Thank you, if I'm ever back in Colorado I will surely visit again. read more

The pricing is a little high for what it is, but I do understand their price positioning considering how much money was invested to open this pace from the liquor store it once was. We lucked out that this place opened right before we came through town. Thanks to Yelp we ate like locals! We ordered two pizzas and two belly sandwiches and all were outstanding. Have eaten at Esters many times. The food is generally good, including today, but: much of the weekend brunch items are prepared Friday night and cannot be altered, no flexibility. At first glance, I thought it just might be on a pricey side, BUT pricey or not it was well worth it. We love the pizza and it was hard to chose just one. We did a pickup order and it was done super fast (15 minutes max) and they texted me all the communication we needed for contactless pickup. Super easy, super fast, and super ah-ma-zing!!! Walked over for their soft opening and just great! Great food, great service, and just the start of what we hope will be a long relationship. Thumbs up on the pizza, the salad and the Italian Sandwich. Great addition to Park Hill, Stapleton and immediate area. But..the main dining room is so loud!!! This seems to be an awesome secret. Walked in here on a Saturday afternoon with a party of 7 and they were able to seat us right away. What a great place! Oneida Park is getting really busy. Esters took over a liquor store and convenience store. Nearby, there's a great coffee shop, a serviceable Thai place, a Philly Steak place, a vet, etc. and soon to be ice cream shop. Parking might be an issue someday soon, but that's a good thing at the end of the day. Back to Esters: deep beer and spirits selection (solid bar if you just want to do that), warm atmosphere. Very family friendly but they keep the families with kids separate from the "grownups" without kids so it really didn't seem to be an issue for either set of diners. TVs all around the place playing sports (yeah, fellow dadbros!). Music was good, place wasn't loud or frenetic. The food is good: pizzas, salads, sandwiches, etc. Some apps...everything is kind of like yuppie bar food: fresh, simple. The real reason for a solid five stars: the service. Everyone is friendly, chill, and fast. Everything was speedy and efficient. I don't work in the restaurant biz but they seemed to have tons of servers, maybe like one for every three tables...not that they were in the way or anything, just moving really efficiently through the floor. GM came out to greet us and he was pretty modest about what will undoubtedly be a huge success in Park Hill. Really, this place is going to go nuts. It has something for everyone. Husband and I came in for a late dinner while on vacation in Denver. He was disappointed that they do not show UFC fights on TV here per their policy, as this was why we came to a sports bar. Despite this, the food was excellent. We shared the Catapult pizza and ate every bite. We sat at a community table and were waited on by the bartender. Quick service for both drinks and food. This location is slightly out of the way but there is ample parking, which can be an issue anywhere in Denver. Would definitely come back. read more

A great neighborhood pub with really delicious pizzas and salads. The gluten free pizza is some of the best you'll find. The beer menu is full of local favorites, too, and even includes some Stem ciders.
