    Enoteca Burger as served ($26)
    Kellie C.

I met friends for dinner here last night, inside the Bellasera Hotel. Parking in the hotel lot (as long as you don't stay overnight) is complimentary. Pass through the lobby to the bar & restaurant. I saw a happy hour sign for 5-6pm Mon - Fri when I went in (but it was gone when I came out or would have gotten a photo). At 6:00 on Saturday the bar and restaurant were nearly empty. The bartender was engaged in a discussion with my friend and it sounded like he knew a lot about wine. Good to know, considering the name of the restaurant is all about wine. It turned out the bartender is also a winemaker. Cool! I enjoyed my glass of sparkling Grenache Blanc ($13), served in a flute. The velour-covered bar stools had a small back and were comfortable. The room itself has recently been redesigned. My friends were disappointed that the fireplace is gone. After our drinks at the bar, we moved to a very large booth that could seat 6 people. Not complaining, it was luxurious and good to know larger groups aren't limited in their seating options here. Our server was so sweet. She made us feel very welcome and appreciated. We started with a Caesar salad (which the server offered to split; optional white anchovies which were absolute heaven). $16. Also the arancini (fried rice balls with red pepper and bocconcini- a type of fresh mozzarella) with an herbed aioli. $16 for four. My favorite item of the meal. The Moroccan carrots ($12) side was a small portion of roasted (steamed?) petite rainbow carrots served on a bed of what was described as yogurt but tasted like tartar sauce. Dusted with crushed pistachios and drizzled with a pomegranate reduction, it had potential but missed the mark. The Enoteca Burger ($26) had feta, tzatziki sauce, roast sliced tomato, thinly sliced red onion (the perfect amount and prepped well), and very fresh little gem lettuce. The meat was tasty- described as a mix of short rib and brisket, and it all held together well on the bun. It was small (about 4 inches across) but cooked just as I'd asked to medium. Served with tasty, hot fries (but no aioli or other condiment). One of my friends ordered the Herb Crusted Filet Mignon ($52), which came with a delicious mushroom demi-glace. I'd describe it as closer to an au jus but the flavor was very good. The filet itself was described as an 8 oz cut (not sure if it was quite 8oz). There was not currently a bread service but we were offered toasted, buttered sourdough slices, which were good. Much of the wine by the bottle list is noted as "in arrivo" (arriving soon). The wine by the glass list was local and covered this region's varietals well. I'd like to come back for happy hour sometime and, according to our server, the chef is working on a new menu so I'd give that a try. Perhaps this is just a time of transition. Even still, the food was good in a pleasant environment.

10/10 I must give! From the customer service, the cute aesthetic ambiance & vibes it was giving, the drink we had was called the Nutty Espresso. Hands down the best I've had yet! The food was delicious & savory. Tons of flavor. Not one item we ordered disappointed. I would gladly return. We had the filet mignon with blue cheese topping & aioli sauce, spicy shrimp w/ sourdough toast, & chefs kiss that good!

My husband and I read enough Yelp reviews to expect a non-hotel chain high-quality dinner experience, and we were wowed by the food and cocktails. I wanted to try something new, so I ordered a ginger beer cranberry rosemary vodka concoction, which was quite delicious. My husband's old fashioned taster was a deal, 3 cocktails for the price of two, plus it was served on a fun taster tray. His favorite was the Cuban Old Fashioned, made with 10 year old rum. My annoying onion allergy removed the tasty sounding Brussel sprouts off my choices, but the couscous was very flavorful, and their mashed potatoes were as good as it gets. My husband raved about his lambchops. Service and ambiance were great while the bar was quite beautiful. We will definitely be back because we also thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Bellaserra Hotel, a great location for wine tasting or shopping.

My wife and I were staying at La Bellasera Hotel and decided to try Enoteca. Good decision! The ambiance is casual but nice. The service was wonderful. Very personal, attentive and helpful. The food was superb. I had the small plate marinated lamb ribs (3) on a bed of roasted quinoa and couscous. I also had the baby romaine ceasar salad. Great house made dressing and anchovy fillers. Everthing was delicious! Well prepared and presented. I also enjoyed the Old Fashioned taster trio. House specialty Old Fashioneds lined up for your tasting pleasure...and it was! I especially liked the "Cuban", made with a 10 year old barrel aged rum. Delicious!

First time at Enoteca for my husband and myself and it did not disappoint. We couldn't make reservations as it was already full since it was NYE. We ended up getting lucky with seating at the bar that still offered full menu dining. Since we were staying at the Bellasera hotel we thought we would give this place a try. First off, our waitress was amazing. She smiled the entire time and knew the menu very well. She also made amazing drinks. The atmosphere was fancy and dressy with soft played music in the background. The lighting was softer and dim as well. Perfect for a date night. For starters we started off with calamari, lobster bisque soup, and warm soft bread. My husband ordered their burger and I ordered the pork chop. By far the best pork chop I have ever eaten. The waitress recommended I order it medium done. (Didn't even know that was a thing with pork chops) I was a little nervous about it coming back not the way I'd like but wow it was amazing. Very tender and juicy with great flavor! I didn't even get to eat my mashed potatoes or broccolini because the size of the pork chop was so big plus the appetizers I had already eaten. There was no way I could eat anything else after that chop. My husband was definitely in love with his burger and caramelized chalets that the burger offered. For the quality of food and amount of food I didn't think the price was bad. We would definitely come back for dinner here.

Sooooo let me start by saying this place was not your typical restaurant hotel food!!! This place was phenomenal!! We stayed at this hotel and the receptionist recommended us this restaurant stating it was really good and me and my gf thought he was just being biased well He was ABSOLUTELY CORRECT!! Great tasting food , cooked just right , absolutely no complaints on the food Service was amazing, friendly and even though they were Busy they were still attentive Keep in kind the bartenders are also serving the restaurant, so it was a bit chaotic!!! Drinks were made on point Highly recommended if you stayed at la BELLASERA suites!! MAKE SURE YOU CALL EARLY FOR A RESERVATION, Since they get booked all night

My husband and I waited patiently for two years for the perfect time to make reservations and we finally did it. My birthday celebration month here at Six Test did not disappoint. We did the 2nd seating they are spaced 6 and 6 for a total of 12 per night. We were greeted by a super nice young man from Cambria. He wore a suit and offered us a seat and water while we waited. Once our party was seated it was as if we were watching a synchronized dance. In total I would say we had 15 courses! I had read some reviews that the plates were small, and yes they were, however they needed to be. We were stuffed when we left. There were some plates I could have had more for sure, but I believe this is what it's supposed to be. We weren't sure so we did have a late breakfast and waited to eat before our dinner. We did not do the wine pairing because we didn't know if it would be what we were looking for. We wanted the food aspect of the evening to be the star and it was. Everything was presented with such elegance and methodical precision. That alone was impressive. I read some reviews that the staff was not talkative or friendly. Wrong! I asked questions and they answered. Even so, the first round of choices was which cup we wanted our first course. I picked a pink depression goblet. They filled it with the most delicious tomato celery bonito I have ever tasted. The chef serving us and giving us our glasses said he made a few but the pink one was his favorite. So of course I chose it. Next we had oysters with a green strawberry kosho. Delicious! Our chef explained these would be the freshest oysters we would ever enjoy. They were literally caught less than 24 hrs. He explained most places get deliveries etc and therefore are not this fresh. Like wow very impressive. I could have had a tray of those. We also had smoked trout, wagyu beef, tuna, smoked pork, black cod, pork loin, duck, and then also desserts. I definitely don't want to spoil your experience but let's just say you will not get this level of goodness anywhere else. Very very unique to this team of chefs. Everything was so good and fresh. Next let me add that not only was it complete magic to watch them move around this beautiful space so seamlessly, I finally had to ask the chefs presenting our fourth course if they were the lead chefs. To this their answer set the tone for my entire experience. Both chefs had a smirk and pointed to the chef who offered us our glasses, gave us our first tasting! It was Ricky! This man was the owner and head chef but you would never ever know it. That alone impressed us all (party of 4). No ego. Ricky shared how proud he was of personally knowing the fishermen and how fresh his seafood was. He was proud of his cups, and lived the depression glass on his tray. He said they all had a story. Never once was he about himself. The team at Six test is not just a team of chefs but a family. You could totally feel it. My husband and I will definitely be back. It's obviously not something we could afford to do every week but definitely a treat we will definitely plan on every time we're in the area. This team of chefs work so hard to give you that magical experience. It's about the food for sure but also the quiet magic they have come to create. Thank you to the team at Six test. Thank you Ricky! Your chefs love working there and you can totally tell by the way you have created this wonderful space.

I've decided there are two kinds of Michelin restaurants. The first spends the entire evening…read morereminding you it's Michelin starred. The second quietly gets on with dinner and lets you figure it out yourself. Six Test Kitchen belongs firmly in the second camp. It's a tiny room. A dozen seats wrap around one open kitchen, so everyone sees everything. That should be chaos. It isn't. No shouting, no crashing pans, no television drama. Just cooks orbiting each other so smoothly I caught myself watching a man spoon sauce onto a plate with the focus you'd give a guitar solo. I have never been that focused on anything, including merging onto a highway. Everybody slows down in there without being told to. Nobody made a rule. Nobody held a meeting. Within a few minutes the whole room is whispering like it's a library with a tasting menu. Ask the staff about a wine and you're suddenly touring vineyards on the other side of the planet. Ask about an ingredient and you get a story instead of a speech. By dessert I figured they could explain quantum physics, provided somebody opened a Riesling first. I stopped trying to remember every course somewhere around the middle. That's a compliment. I just accepted that these people had a better plan for my evening than I did. A few dishes survived the amnesia anyway. The bluefin tuna proved just how hard it is to do something simple. The duck showed up in several forms, including a warm brioche stuffed with confit that weighed roughly nothing. I now believe butter has discovered antigravity. The duck liver ran so smooth and rich my brain filed it under dessert and refused to correct the error. The fifty-day aged Japanese wagyu arrived and politely ruined beef for the foreseeable future. People love telling you this stuff melts in your mouth. This one had better things to do. It raised my standards, thanked me for my time, and left every future steak to explain itself. Somewhere out there a perfectly respectable ribeye is about to get a deeply unfair comparison. None of that is its fault. With the final savory dish, the chef came over carrying a handcrafted wooden box and opened it the way you'd show off family photos. Inside sat knives forged from recycled ball bearings by a bladesmith in Athens, Georgia. He handed me one to use on the duck. I held it with the nervous respect reserved for museum artifacts and someone else's newborn, then spent ten minutes concentrating on not becoming a line item in the restaurant's insurance paperwork. The service deserves its own paragraph. My water glass never dropped below half full, and I didn't once catch anyone filling it. Empty plates vanished before I finished admiring them. Each course landed the moment I was ready for it, which I found mildly unsettling, since I didn't know I was ready. By the end, the whole night felt like a ballet where the audience gets fed. I left already negotiating with myself about how soon is too soon to go back.

The Fried Chicken came out hot and fresh, and they definitely give you plenty. The flavor was good, but most of the seasoning was in the crust rather than the meat itself. Without the crust, the chicken didn't have quite enough seasoning for my taste. That said, the crust was crispy, flavorful, and definitely did its job. Now, the Shrimp & Grits were a HIT! Buttery deliciousness and a straight-up flavor bomb! The grits were perfectly cooked, and the shrimp were tender, buttery, and delicious. Definitely a winner. The inside has a really cool Spanish hacienda vibe with rustic wood beams, warm lighting, and plenty of unique décor to take in. It's a fun space with lots of character and is connected in the back to the tiki bar next door, making it easy to continue the evening with a drink. The atmosphere was lively without being overly loud, and we really enjoyed the classic '80s music playing softly in the background. The oysters were fresh and very good. My wife ordered the ceviche and enjoyed it. I had the hanger steak salad--it was decent, but I'd probably skip the beets next time and order something different. Overall, the food was good, but it didn't quite rise to the level of "great." Service was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. Overall, Fish Gaucho is worth a visit for its downtown location, unique Spanish-inspired atmosphere, and solid food. While there are probably stronger culinary options in Paso Robles, we'd happily come back to enjoy the ambiance, check out the connected tiki bar, and sample a few different menu items.

I'm sure the material was made to protect it from getting anything sneaky through. They do, however, tell you to keep the phone with you so it is always in your posession. The inside was quite beautiful. It felt like a speakeasy, quiet and through magical doors where you are not meant to be found. We were seated at the bar and were immediately given water. I first started with a raspberry mojito. I forgot what my husband got the first time. For his second drink he tried their version of the Grasshopper which claimed to taste just like mint and chip ice cream. He was absolutely blown away and said "Wow!" every time he took a sip. I tried it and it was spot on! I didn't want another alcoholic beverage so I got their mocktail version of an Orange Julius and it was delicious! We told the bartender (I forgot his name) how amazing the drinks were and especially the Grasshopper and he got into it and told us how it is made and what processes they go through. It actually has milk but you would never know by looking at it. Service was great. When we left we had to hand the bartenders our bagged phones so they could use a machine to unlock it. I told them this felt like Fort Knox. Too funny.
