This cafe/bakery has such a stunning indoor and outdoor space! If you're dining in, you still order at the counter and they will give you a table number once you order. They have a variety of savory and sweet brunch options and tons of fresh baked goods. Their drinks rotate seasonally with lots of fun coffee flavors. There is a small parking lot both in the front and the back but it can get quite crowded on weekends

Truly don't understand the hype this place gets. I came here after hearing many great things about their pastries, especially their cinnamon rolls, so I figured I'd give them a try. Could not be more disappointed. -Cinnamon Roll: Man oh man was this dry. Probably one of the worst cinnamon rolls I've ever had. I came in a little bit before noon on a Friday and they only had a handful of them left on display. Went straight home to warm it up and it was as if these had been left out on the counter for 3 days. The dough was not chewy or plush like you'd expect. The frosting stayed pretty stiff compared to classic cinnamon rolls. The flavor profile was OVERWHELMINGLY sour. Like I get having cream cheese frosting which typically adds some tang to any cinnamon roll but both the dough and the icing were far tooooo tart. Maybe I'm just not the target audience for this type of cinnamon roll but this was an immediate no for me. Tried to pass it off to my family and everyone said no thanks after trying one bite. Don't get this unless you like sour and dry cinnamon rolls. -Chocolate Croissant: I think croissants are an excellent way to judge the skill of a pastry shop. Unfortunately, this one was also very telling. I don't see this often when it comes to bakeries that are suppose to specialize in making bread and pastries, but man the croissant was flat and hollow?! After my disappointing cinnamon roll, I only wanted to try half of the croissant in case it was also not good so I cut it in half and warmed it up. You would have thought I bought a hot pocket lol. This croissant had large gaping holes and extremely poor lamination. No discernable flakey layers which is exactly what you want from a croissant. Since they also use the sourdough base for this pastry, it also lends a very pronounced sour taste to the croissant, but that's hardly an issue, all things considered. The shop and parking: The saving graces for this bakery is the interior and patio areas were cute. Staff were also nice. Parking is not good. There are about 8 spots out front, 4 on the left and 4 on the right. They don't connect to each other because the sidewalk starts immediately in front so if you see a spot open on the other side, you have to exit the lot and re-enter because there's no thru road. The back side has some additional parking but many of the spots are reserved for the other businesses and all of them were taken as well. Overall: I spent $17 for 2 poorly made pastries. I will not be coming back.

As others have mentioned, the prices here are high. I am skeptical of places like this where the prices are high and not worth it. While I don't think that their food and drinks fully justify the high cost, it was pretty good overall. I love the ambiance and decor of this place. It's a neutral, modern design that I absolutely love. I enjoyed just sitting and spending time slowly eating my food and drinking my latte while taking in how nice this place looked! The Roasted Chicken Pesto ($24), while pricey, was a decently sized sandwich that filled my hubby and me up. The Bread Basket ($5) was much more affordable considering how pricey everything else was. I'm a huge fan of sourdough, so I had to try the bread basket that offered me a taste of their sourdough and baguette. They definitely have a tang to their sourdough, but not as tangy as I had hoped (I like them real sour). Service was great from all the staff members - friendly! Overall, I wouldn't frequent this place often because of the prices, but I would definitely come back again!

First time today for lunch. Talk about a wonderful experience! The building has a very peaceful atmosphere. The menu is full of delightful thoughtful dishes. Avocado toast was amazing and you must have it with a poached egg. Everyone we encountered was above and beyond friendly. I asked if I could buy flour from them. A no go for now but, you never know down the road I hope?? I will be back! Thank you so much for a fabulous lunch!

Very cute breakfast spot in Costa Mesa with a nice ambiance inside. Croissants are delicious and are sourdough! The food was good but not going to lie it's a tad bit on the pricier side for what it is but that's anywhere today I suppose. Service was a solid 7.5/10 so not bad. I'm not super crazy about a 5.75$ drip coffee either but at an establishment as such I understand that people need to get paid. Overall very cute small breakfast / pastry / bread joint. I'd recommend to try at least once !

Pretty great place, but too expensive and that's why it's not 5 stars. Friendly service, spacious inside and outside, and quality food. They bake with good ingredients and many things are sourdough. The make an excellent coffee, as well as do a great job with the breakfast plates. Excellent omelette, excellent potatoes. No complaints! Only the price... most things were $20. I liked the cinnamon roll, but recommend the sourdough chocolate chip cookie even more!

Very elegant, visually pleasing, and comfortable setting, always clean. The staff are so welcoming, accommodating, and polite. I recommend the banana bread and banana bread latte.

Eller has been on my bookmarks forever! Finally stopped by & it definitely didn't disappoint. I only ordered the cinnamon roll and it was delicious. Next time I will have to sit down for lunch or coffee. There are so many different options on the menu. Parking can be tricky due to having a small parking lot. So I would recommend you go early I the day.

Pretty good matcha latte. Banana latte was everything the hype gave to it. Food was okay, pastries as well. For the most part good enough to come back, and we will. The staff if great, probably the best part of the experience

This cafe has been repeatedly recommended and I finally made it today. I met friends at 10:30. I just ordered a warm matcha and the most delicious and fresh cinnamon roll. I don't understand the negative posts. The service was friendly and welcoming. The only reason I gave it 4 starts was because the music was too loud for us. However, before I left I did see the quiet patio out back. I will return and order the avocado toast. It looked delicious and HUGE! Looked big enough to share. I do recommend you go.

I drove from Beverly Hills to Eller Bakery yesterday morning, and it was absolutely worth the drive. While it's tucked into an industrial area, the moment you step inside, it transforms into a modern oasis. The outdoor terrace is especially stunning. We ordered a few bakery items along with breakfast and coffee, and everything exceeded expectations. The staff was warm and welcoming, and I even had the pleasure of meeting the owner. Overall, a true five-star experience.

    Two Egg Breakfast
    Jasmine Z.

A cute (and very well-known and popular) brunch spot in Costa Mesa! I've come twice now and now that I've tried the two egg breakfast, I don't think I'll ever order anything else ever again. The potatoes are sooo crispy and perfect, and the flavor on the sausage patties was incredible. I've tried one of their lattes once before and wasn't a huge fan so I think I'll just stick to the food. Definitely on the pricier side so just be prepared.

They'll always take care of you and make sure you're happy with your order and your experience. They are always attentive and professional. Kitchen staff are *chefs kiss* really good at what they do. Always hot and fresh and work hard to get the orders out and at 100% their best. Never had a wrong order, even during peak hours. The location has plenty of parking and plenty of seating. There is an outdoor patio, and inside there is a first floor seating area, and a second floor seating area. The interior had high ceilings and modern practical decor. Staff will take your order at the cashier, but they also have a kiosk if you want to avoid human interaction. I was here for a few hours, so I started off with a hot beverage since I saw that they have mug service. I had the hot Churro Latte ($8.15/large) and I was warned it's a bit sweet so staff suggested that I get it less sweet. I appreciated the gesture but maybe that's why I didn't taste too much of the churro flavor. It tasted like a good regular latte but maybe they held back on the caramel and cinnamon to the point I couldn't detect it. Seating is first come first serve. It was actually really busy and difficult to find an ideal spot. Since I was alone I sat at a high top ledge, strategically near an outlet. From what I saw, they had a really good amount of outlets in the indoor seating area. Later on I went back and ordered an iced Blueberry Lavender Matcha with Cold Foam ($9.25/large) and a Deluxe Avocado Toast ($15) which comes with egg, bacon, and herb oil. I like that this location serves the avocado toast with a knife and fork cause it was much needed. It was a bit on the wet side. Maybe I should ask for light herb oil next time. For how much this avocado toast cost, I would have liked more avocado. The avocado was more of a spread, not whole slices of avocado. Still good, just an observation. The blueberry lavender matcha was okay. I could taste the lavender but it was overpowering the matcha and the blueberry was hard to detect at all. Honestly the location and plentiful seatings is what stood out most from this experience. I would consider coming back since I know their products are good from trying their other locations but I wouldn't get the drinks I ordered this time. For how expensive coming here was, I wish I was a little more satisfied.

Not at the tables downstairs but in the private rooms and at a lot of the seating upstairs. * WIFI/INTERNET: Yes, good speed * BATHROOMS: Yes, clean * WATER: You can ask for free water * VOLUME: Music was a little bit loud but not terrible * SEATING AVAILABILITY: Lotsssss of seats when I came on a Monday late morning-afternoon. Very cool that there were private rooms (which can be reserved two hours in advance if you call them), tables, bar-style seating upstairs, and most importantly, comfy couches!! * LAPTOP FRIENDLINESS: No restrictions BOTTOM LINE: I can't believe I almost missed out on this gem. I'll be back soon!

Food/Drinks: matcha…read morelatte - not the richest matcha taste or quality and when i got it with oat milk, the oat milk flavor ended up overpowering the matcha a bit. although, it wasn't bad it was still decent to sip on while working! iced caramel macchiato - on the sweeter end of drinks and if you get oat milk it will overpower the taste a bit but still a decent drink banana cream matcha latte - has the creamy texture from the banana cream and surprisingly the banana didn't have a strong artificial banana taste. to me, that's a little rare and in a good way. the matcha isn't a strong matcha taste but still present avocado toast with egg - it was plated and presented nicely which i was kinda surprised about. it tasted decent. the bread is on the softer/soggier end rather than the crispy and toasted end. the sauce and radish overpowers the taste. i got a runny sunny side egg and it was a nice addition for me. service: this spot has one of the nicest helpful service. i was here for a few hours working and despite shift changes, each new staff who was working were so nice and helpful! ambiance: it's such a bright and spacious spot with a few study rooms and many seating. it's bright and has a cozy wooden feel. i love that there are many outlets and it's not overcrowded or too loud. it was the perfect spot to work at!
