I like the breakfast sandwich called the Farmhouse plus tomato, avocado, and red pepper mayo. Bread was a bit soggy. Ask for extra toasted.

I like the breakfast sandwich called the Farmhouse plus tomato, avocado, and red pepper mayo. But make sure you ask for the bread extra toasted. Last time it was a bit soggy.

I finally claimed my free cookie coupons after a few years but im so happy to have come here again! The parking lot is always full when I come so id be wary about that. The service is nice and the cashier was very friendly. There's indoor seating and this bakery is part of the Camp so you can walk outside to check out other stores. The ambiance is cute with lots of pastries and cookies displayed in the front. There's also delicious snacks displayed throughout the store as well. The molasses and brownie cookie were so good! It was crispy on the outside and chewy in the inside.

Blackmarket is at The Camp and I've passed it so many times but usually I've already had breakfast so I refrain from stopping in. But on this day, my goal and my purpose was to stop in and try their baked goodies. Best decision on a random the day ever. I ordered a tomato provolone croissant and my sister ordered the mushroom everything croissant. We were surprised they didn't heat up the croissants when we ordered it. The reason was simple, they were already so fresh and crispy they didn't need to be heated. The croissants were light and buttery without being overbearing. I capped it with an almond milk latte. Random Thursday became a very good Thursday. Casual. Parking can be difficult here at peak hours. Good service. Please come and create your own adventure.

Love the coffee and pasties here. They are all 10/10 I was introduced years ago from a friend and I make sure to stop in when I'm in the area. Service is always super welcoming the shop is cute

First time trying! Five stars. Cinnamon bun was amazing (warm, cinnamony, and big in size). I got the custard for my kiddos so I didn't try that one. The Americano was smooth (I hope that makes sense). The inside of the bakery was very aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Outside there was a small play area for the children. As a mom thank you for this My twins played while I took a much needed coffee + pastry break. Service was quick for us on a Sunday morning.

Discovered this bakery while exploring the Camp and I don't think I'll ever get coffee anywhere else in that entire mall! Although my food caused the wait time to be a little higher than the typically coffee shop, which the staff warned me about when I ordered, the egg sandwich was fresh and had a great combination of ingredients that made it well worth the wait. I have yet to try their sweets but everything inside the case looks absolutely amazing. Can't wait to go back and try more!

This place seem very nice, they have a good menu, healthy options, good and big space area to sit down inside or outside the place, they even have their own restroom which is great. But, When I order the girl said that I have to wait for the food which I said ok bc I had to meet someone outside, a few minutes past which I thought was more that enough and they said "sorry, we need more time" I went to the restroom and nothing actually the girls told me "sorry, the person who does the sandwich is not here" really! They were 2 people there and they were just able to do drinks! That was very frustrating and I just ask for my money back. I hope no one has my experience.

After just one bite, I rushed back to buy several more - they were incredibly tasty and absolutely worth another trip! I'm usually not a fan of ginger, but l arrived a bit late that day and it was the only cookie option available. Desperate for a cookie, I decided to give it a shot, and wow! Their ginger cookies are absolutely phenomenal!!! They're perfectly chewy without being dry. l've tried a variety of their offerings, and I'm looking forward to trying even more on my next visit.

The Hidden Gem for Almond Croissants & Cherry Bars If you know, you know. Blackmarket Bakery is one of those spots that, once you discover it, becomes part of your routine. And if you haven't been yet? Let me put you on. The Almond Croissant That Will Ruin You for All Others This isn't just any almond croissant--it's the almond croissant. Consistently flaky, buttery, and packed with that rich, chunky almond filling that feels homemade in the best way. The top is beautifully crisp, the inside is soft and layered, and every bite is perfection. It's the kind of pastry you think about the next morning and wish you had stocked up on. The Cherry Bar - Underrated But Absolutely Essential This one doesn't get enough hype, but it should. Their cherry bar is the perfect mix of tart, sweet, and buttery, and the best part? The team here is always so nice--they happily warm it up for you, which takes it to the next level. Warm, gooey, and just the right amount of indulgent. The Move: Pair It With a Flat White from Work in Progress Here's my routine: grab my almond croissant (or cherry bar, depending on the mood) and then head over to Work in Progress for their flat white. It's the perfect combo--flaky pastry, smooth espresso, and the kind of breakfast that makes your whole morning better. Don't Sleep on the Cookies While the almond croissant is the star, their cookies are seriously good too. Soft, chewy, and packed with flavor--whether you go for chocolate chip, peanut butter, or one of their seasonal flavors, you can't go wrong. Final Thoughts? This Place is a Must. Blackmarket Bakery has that rare mix of incredible pastries, warm service, and a local feel that keeps you coming back. Whether you're grabbing a quick treat or making it part of your morning ritual, it never disappoints. Vibe is causal and welcoming. More for takeout.

Very tasty tarts! Good to buy for a party for friends to try different flavors instead of a traditional cake.

LOVELY. ABSOLUTELY LOVELY. Lots of non-dairy options for your coffee. Flourless brownies are rich and decadent.

Blackmarket Bakery is a hipster like bakery located in Costa Mesa at the camp. It's so unique and truly is a one-of-a-kind! The decor is more rustic and the atmosphere is laid back/ casual. It's not a big bakery, but they do have a lot of baked goods! Cookies, brownies, mugs, stickers, and t-shirts, you name it. They have lots of swag to show off and support the Blackmarket Bakery. The name is so catchy! The parking is annoying in this area. It's always hard to find parking. Service was good. They were friendly and helpful. The desserts are really good here!!

    The gluten free goods
    Adriana O.

A great bakery inside the Camp with a variety of baked goods and drinks available to please any sweet tooth craving. I came in curious about the gluten free baked goods and I walked out with a variety of gluten free and regular baked foods to please my mom and I (I'm the gluten free one). This is a large bakery with a little room (as in a couple of tables and chairs) to accommodate a couple a small parties/families while they enjoy their baked goods and/or drinks. I came in during the middle of the afternoon on a Monday and there were a handful of clients enjoying their baked goods inside and outside while I mused around, looking for the perfect baked goods. Someone behind the counter helped me decide which cookies I wanted to buy since they only had a handful of gluten fcookies that day. I ended up buying : 2 guava lemonades, a freshly warmed up cinnamon roll, a mud cookie (gf), another chocolate gf cookie, flourless almond brownie bites, a sugar skull decorated cookie and a giant churro. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my little adventure to Blackmarket Bakery and am looking forward to coming back to trying their other gluten free creations and specialty drinks. Thank you Blackmarket Bakery for adding some sweetness to my Blue Monday and the beginning of my Birthday week

At the Costa Mesa location, parking was a little tricky at first, but after circling we got lucky with a corner spot. The location itself is SO cute! It's right next to colorful barrel fountains, and on a sunny day it honestly felt like the perfect coffee outing. The line was pretty long and you are standing in direct sun, so just keep that in mind, but the service was quick and efficient once you order. Inside, it's small but really charming, with Sunny Angels hidden around and a very open, friendly vibe. My sister (who is basically a professional coffee drinker at this point ) got the matcha and said it was her favorite, which says a lot. I got the iced Spanish latte with oat milk, and it was SO good. Spanish lattes are my go-to, and this one had the perfect hint of cinnamon without being overly sweet. Even as the ice melted, it still tasted great, which is rare. The Torrance location was just as good! Parking was easier, the space is bigger, and the service was still super friendly and fast. My husband got the cold brew "Nook way" and finished it in like 10 minutes. He said it tasted like Golden Grahams cereal. Highly recommend both locations and especially the Spanish latte. I am notorious for chugging my iced coffee but this was absolutely delicious. A sweet, subtle honey sweetness taste and the creamy oat milk was divine. My manager's Spanish Latte was so much better & I will be getting that next time! We bought our other coworker the Strawberry Matcha, which we did not try & we were worried after the fact because it did not look like it had strawberries in it, but she confirmed it was very tasty and tasted the strawberry! There is limited parking but the lot was mostly empty when I visited at 8am on a weekday. I was greeted with a smile upon entry and I got in a line of about 8 people. The line would whittle down rather quickly but then would go right back up to about 8, back & forth, during the entire time I was there. Only 2 gals were working but they were like a machine, taking orders and cranking out drinks in a perfectly synchronized barista ballet. I ordered a large hot Spanish latte and chose a chocolate croissant from the pastry case. I declined having the pastry warmed as the chocolate gets melty and gooey-messy all over my hands. She informed me that the latte would have 4 shots of espresso unless I wished otherwise, but I was ready for a good case of coffee jitters. The interior is very small with 6 two-tops crammed together and a window counter with 5 or so chairs. I sat at a table. The latte was perfectly made, served at immediate drinking temperature, with a great quality coffee and a cinnamon flavor that was exactly the right strength. The croissant was fresh with plenty of chocolate inside. By the time I finished it, I looked like a three-year-old; my lips were smeared with chocolate. This was an excellent pastry.
