One of the range hands looked to be 20 at best. Young enough to be our kid. Anyway, he kept asking about my gun case because I had a .40 sitting in it and not at the shooting area. I had explained to him I wanted to shoot it, but they didn't have .40 ammo. He didn't like that my case was open with the gun inside. He asked my friend to close my case which my friend did. I finished going through my two mags, went back to our area and noticed my case closed. My buddy said, "The kid was nervous it was opened and asked me to close it". No big deal, all good. Except, we were asked to leave by another range employee because he didn't like us referring to the other guy was "the kid". There was no harm intended. We weren't being derogatory, it was simply a description, the young man could have been our kid so my friend referred to him as ". The kid ". We were kicked out because of that. It won't hurt them, it won't hurt my friend, and it won't hurt me....but he nor I will return. I get safety issues. I get hate speech, but this was ridiculous

I love being able to talk and joke about a range of things ( pun intended ). The range is clean and ran with safety as a priority. The only issue I have is my fat ass feels like I'm about to break their chairs. That's more a "me" issue though. I think I will only shoot here as I feel like family when I am there. The main building is large and is great for events. I wish that the restrooms were larger to accommodate more people. The large covered pavilion works great in bad weather. The shooting stations need some more TLC but I like that they change up the launching positions to mix-up the clay's trajectory from the previous year. There was a few people on the firing line shooting pistols a black power handgun and one person had a Over Under. When we came we had to register for a membership and watch a safety video on firearms safety and range rules. This is There Rules and a very good one. Since I didn't have time to purchase bulk 9mm ammo for practice we bought some Magtech FMJ ammo as they only allow for FMJ at the pistol area. The range has a area for Shotguns, Rifle and Pistols. I believe the rifle area only allows soft points or hollow points and they also rent long arms We will be back when we purchase some bulk ammo.

They have a little sign that say dont block the gate and no parking. So make sure you dont get there early because they will treat you like a piece of crap. While I was in the store, an older man working behind the counter carried on an extended conversation with another customer that involved repeated derogatory comments about Mexican Americans and American Spanish speakers. This wasn't a single offhand remark -- it went on for a noticeable amount of time, openly and unapologetically, right in front of other customers. What made it even worse was how comfortable they seemed saying it, as if they assumed everyone in the store either agreed or couldn't understand them. I understood exactly what was being said, and it created an uncomfortable, hostile environment that no customer should have to tolerate. Personal opinions have no place being broadcast from behind a retail counter, especially when they cross into ethnic or racial slander. Allowing that behavior reflects poorly on the business and its leadership. I will not be returning, and I would strongly encourage management to address this immediately.
