One of the range hands looked to be 20 at best. Young enough to be our kid. Anyway, he kept asking about my gun case because I had a .40 sitting in it and not at the shooting area. I had explained to him I wanted to shoot it, but they didn't have .40 ammo. He didn't like that my case was open with the gun inside. He asked my friend to close my case which my friend did. I finished going through my two mags, went back to our area and noticed my case closed. My buddy said, "The kid was nervous it was opened and asked me to close it". No big deal, all good. Except, we were asked to leave by another range employee because he didn't like us referring to the other guy was "the kid". There was no harm intended. We weren't being derogatory, it was simply a description, the young man could have been our kid so my friend referred to him as ". The kid ". We were kicked out because of that. It won't hurt them, it won't hurt my friend, and it won't hurt me....but he nor I will return. I get safety issues. I get hate speech, but this was ridiculous

I needed the muzzle changed on my Sig AR, and even after watching several YouTube videos, it became obvious this was a task better left to a professional. Texas-Star Gunworks came highly recommended, so I walked in already feeling confident, and they still managed to exceed my expectations. It's incredibly reassuring when you meet someone who not only knows their craft, but clearly lives it. Mr. Girard was personable, easy to talk to, and genuinely enjoyable to chat with. But the moment he started working on my firearm, you could see the shift, he was in his element, focused, precise, and absolutely in command of what he was doing. I knew when he finished with my weapon, I would have positive results. Watching an expert at work is something I always appreciate, and this was no exception. The level of care and skill he put into the job made it clear I had brought my rifle to the right place. He knew what part I needed within seconds, and lucky even had that part in stock. He knew the special needs of my weapon based on brand. He knew the process to assure the gas would be relieved properly from the muzzle. HE KNEW HIS CRAFT. From now on, anything I need, upgrades, repairs, or anything in between, Texas-Star Gunworks will be my one-stop shop.
