They offer a flexible training schedule. They offer multiple chances to train during the week it, even Sundays. Since I travel so much I appreciate the flexibly. I was definitely nervous day of but Damon eased those feelings once we got started. Damon gave us so much great information regarding how to get away from dangerous situations, how to stay alert and aware of our surroundings, what could happen if I was in a bad situation - lots of hands-on training and step-by-step instructions. Damon was easy to talk to, listened intently to our questions and answered them thoroughly with real life examples. I spoke with Coach Matt (one of the co-owners) about the children's program as I wanted to make sure it was a legitimate BJJ gym. Everything he said checked out and we took our daughter for the free trial period. The coaches there are amazing, they truly take the time needed for each student to understand the techniques while ensuring that it is also fun. Our daughter was very shy at first, not wanting to grapple for the first three months but the coaches were very understanding and knew that she would eventually grapple once she gained enough confidence. She now grapples at every training, wants to go to multiple classes a day and grapples at home with me! Her confidence is through the roof and her behavior at home has greatly improved!
