Range targets have a bunch of pre-programmed scenarios (i.e. shoot/no shoot drills, reload drills, charging drills, increasing distance drill) or if you can create your own. Very clean with probably the best air filtering system in town. Biggest thing I like is you are not limited to an hour. You want to shoot for an hour, Great. 1 1/2 hours Great, want to leave and go have lunch and come back, again Great. All of this for one price. No more kicked off the lane in exactly 60 minutes. Gun rentals are only 5.00. They also have memberships with NO initiation fees that basically pay for themselves if you go 2 times a month. If you've read this far you can see I really love this range. I don't work there but I've been a member for 5+ years. They didn't pay me for this either.

I was in the market for a suppressor found one ready to buy. I have all my paperwork and know how the process works. Strike one was a kid asking me to redo my pic and finger prints. Not at all necessary. But ok. The FBI has been using the same fingerprint cards and passport photos forever but somehow they have changed?? Strike 2 Then the kid had no knowledge of how to file this type of paperwork and would have rather been anywhere else. Every question I had was just answered with "ok" and "i duno". The final strike was when he asked for my ATF username password. When making these accounts it is very serious. I am not going to just give my information over when it is not needed or to an individual that does not know what they are doing. The scary part for me is i have used them in the past and somehow thinks have changed. I had some customer service issues with them in the past but just chalked it up to a fluke. I really wanted to support a local company and keep a business here but this was NEGLIGENCE. I can order the same suppressor shipped to my door for way less without the attitude and hassle of dealing with someone that doesn't know what they are doing.

You just have to be patient. I've taken advantage of Grab A Quote quite often and end up saving a few bucks vs. my local gun shops. Admittedly, I'll use my local shops to get my hands on anything I'm interested in/curious about to see if it's a good fit. Sometimes GAG is muck cheaper. Sometimes it's a wash, or much more expensive. When the latter is the case, I'll buy local. My experience with GAG has been great, and everything I've ordered has always arrived in perfect brand new condition. Just make sure you double-check your items before placing an order.

I got the vortex red dot. $250 extra. We were shipped an $80 red dot that broke before the gun could even get sighted in. Husband lets GAG know, here's the skew #, etc. and we're told the gun is already transferred. SO HOW DOES THE CUSTOMER KNOW UNTIL ITS TRANSFERRED? Then...they change the website to avoid future problems and offer us a $50 CREDIT. YOU JUST SCAMMED A WIFE OUT OF $200. Y'all make me sick. My job requires me to me away from home. My bro, dad and I flew into town from Toronto, Canada last weekend to watch the Dallas Cowboys play…read moreon sunday (my dad is a diehard fan). We flew in on friday and after some bbq headed over to this gun range. My bro had signed us up for the jungle ranger experience. We also tacked on the double ammo add-on (CUZ MORE BULLETS). Instead of Chris, Raine was our instructor for the day. Very nice guy. 10+ yrs as part of the US Marine Corps. We received an intro to range safety inside a classroom before heading over to the range. This was very much needed as both my dad and I have never held a gun before (my bro had already shot guns 3 times prior to this experience). There was a group of friends who took the class with us also happened to be tourists (from Brazil) which was cool. We all had a good laugh about how noob we were. Raine was an excellent teacher! The thing I had to get used to was the sound of the guns firing. Even w/ the ear muffs on it was quite loud so my ears took like 5 mins to adjust to it. Raine told me it was actually much louder for everyone around the shooter. I thought "no way" until I actually stepped up to shoot and then magically the bullet sounds got fainter LOL. Also, I did notice that for some of the guns I tended to aim lower than I was supposed to. Something I'll look to improve! Overall, super fun activity and would do it again the next time I'm in town. Raine also happened to be a Cowboy's fan!

Following that I signed up for 1 on 1 training with John. I got sick a couple days before & tried to reschedule. The app on the website didnt have that functionality so I called. They couldnt figure it out either but required me to pay 50% anyway. Their app doesnt work so I was forced to pay $50 for a lesson where I would likely get the instructor sick. Rather than reschedule, I will just cancel and find another range. disappointed!
