Absolutely the best indoor range in the area. Great RSO's. Helpful, friendly, knowledgeable. They don't just stand at the back and scowl at you. Range targets have a bunch of pre-programmed scenarios (i.e. shoot/no shoot drills, reload drills, charging drills, increasing distance drill) or if you can create your own. Very clean with probably the best air filtering system in town. Biggest thing I like is you are not limited to an hour. You want to shoot for an hour, Great. 1 1/2 hours Great, want to leave and go have lunch and come back, again Great. All of this for one price. No more kicked off the lane in exactly 60 minutes. Gun rentals are only 5.00. They also have memberships with NO initiation fees that basically pay for themselves if you go 2 times a month. I came to visit from out of town with a friend and from upon entry it was weird energy ! A nasty man named DAN took our ids then ran then complained of My friend smelling like weed which was nuts because we literally just Ubered from the Waffle House ! Then he proceeded to tell us that we smelled so bad that it was offensive meanwhile an older gentleman named Eli asked if we needed any help and i explained we were okay and he was very kind . Dan came back with a even nastier attitude and said weed is illegal and that we had a smell meanwhile 2 younger kids came in and smelled and he said NOTHING we told him we were waiting on our uber and we went outside because he was very rude and nasty and offensive ...I will never understand being rude ! Definitely must to bring your kids for a safety course and it was free!!!! 30 minute safety course. Then we went out and then we went to the range kids got to shoot 22s in the range. My kids had fun look like everybody was having fun. Good environment, would definitely recommend this for everyone's children at least for the safety course. I was on a business trip when a colleague overheard that I was an NRA instructor and wanted to go shooting. I looked up nearby ranges, and this one was minutes from our office. Walking in, you can see how clean and neat the place is. Across from the door is the check-in desk where you need to read and accept the range rules and can buy eyes and ears if you don't have your own. When called, you either hit the range or you head for the very reasonably priced gun rental desk where they have a wide selection of handguns and long guns along with ammo. Once inside one of the two clean and well lit range bays, the RSO will take you to your station and give you a quick tutorial on how the tracked target system works. Press a preset distance and your target goes downrange. Press home, and back it comes. Don't like the presets? Choose your own distance. The staff is friendly and willing to help newbies -- unlike some ranges that make fun of them -- and I really appreciate that since we need more people to come into the sport. read more

Let me tell ya, when I picture an all American gun range, I now I picture Eagle Gun range everytime. As a visitor from LA (I know, I know), I was itching to go to the range here in the Dallas Plano area and handle some firearms that I may not have access to in the restrictive county and state I came from. Surprisingly my favorite part about this place is the friendly staff - every single man and woman that helped with sign up, rental recommendations, questions about cross state purchases/rules etc was incredibly friendly, helpful, professional, and just downright entertaining. The other reviews about how incredible this team is didnt lie. The range itself has two bays each with more than enough stalls that the staff regulate depending on which type of firearms you're handling. Great selection of ammo, firearms, accessories and safety items with some good rates for rentals. I went with my date who who hadn't handled a firearm before and not only did she feel comfortable with help from the staff and myself, but she actually started hitting targets with impressive accuracy. Selection, pricing, and I cannot express enough the staff, were all great. Can't wait to come back to some real freedom to shoot some more guns. We shot a few compact handguns (g23, sig), regular (g19) and an AR (5.56 colt) and an M1 Garand which was a personal favorite. Love this place!!! read more

The three or four staff members with whom I interacted were excellent. The manager -- whose name I'll not mention -- bumbled repeatedly as I tried to set up a one-on-one lesson with him. After I proactively interacted three separate times with this manager to try to set up a lesson, I finally gave up and have now aligned with another nearby range, where the competency, quality, and customer service are off-the-charts good. Well... I had never been to a gun range, but a friend of mine who visits this location often convinced me so I gave it a shot. On Tuesday, it's ladies night so ladies shoot free! The location is pretty big and you're required to go over some laws, and rules with the front desk before entering just to keep you aware of everything. It's slightly intimidating, so I'd suggest going with someone experienced. Overall, I found it very professional as well as fun. It's cool learning how to shoot the guns and hit the targets!! My daughter is a Very expensive date! We came here, and used one lane, a shotgun, a .380, and four boxes of bullets. It was a little under $150. This place was a lot more crowded and a lot more expensive than I am used to. But the wait went by quickly and we enjoyed ourselves. Get a Groupon or go on a less expensive day. read more

This place is great! This was my first time visiting and *ever* shooting a gun. It did cost me a pretty penny since I didn't have anything (no gun, bullets, gear of any sort) but I don't regret it at all. I don't live in Dallas unfortunately so I won't be able to frequent this place, but anytime I'm here I definitely will make it a point to come no matter what I'm doing!! As a new shooter I was VERY nervous as many of my friends don't want to or don't live nearby (the ones that do) and they were very patient with me. I can be very liberal but since moving to Texas I've made it a point to learn how to start shooting to protect myself, and unfortunately for the world we live in it's definitely necessary. So those like me this is the place to go! Like I said, they took their time with me which each round I went through. I honestly felt embarrassed with how much help I needed but they did not complain at all. For newcomers especially I would recommend this place. Shoutout to Nic with his help! I appreciated his assistance throughout the time I spent here. They also don't charge per hour so you can spend all the time in the world here! They are ALL fantastic, SUPER helpful, spent tons of time with my friend and I going over gun features, recommendations for our next purchase, etc. I have never had more fun at a gun range in my life. While they don't have private lanes, as some ranges have, there are plenty-no wait time on a Saturday afternoon. Something else to note: there is a member of the staff that is always in the room, sweeping up, going over gun safety, and assisting with loading clips, if needed. This place is worthy of the positive reviews it gets. I went here recently and had an awesome experience. I went on a Tuesday which is their Ladies day, so my girlfriend got a huge discount on her range fee. The other thing I really liked about this place was the $30 all day price for a shooting lane at the range which is great value! They told us we could even leave and come back if we needed to which was awesome even though we stayed. Then come the staff. We interacted with 4 members of the staff and they were all so nice and welcoming to us. They made you feel like they wanted you to be there and not that you were bothering them. They also did a great job answering questions without making you feel stupid and even helped out with some shooting techniques in the range that helped improve our accuracy. Took a Pistol intro class with Wayne who is a great instructor and remembers me every time I come. Also big shout out to Brian who helped me solve an issue with my AR pistol and was able to fix the issue on the house, saving me a good bit of change, especially after the Christmas holiday put a dent in my bank account. Finally tried out this range. There was a line before the doors open, so I take it it's pretty popular! Registration can take a little while if there's a lot of people, but they try to expedite it as much as possible and I'm guessing it's quicker if it isn't your first time and you're already in their system. The place is super clean and they have a large selection of guns to rent if you don't have one yourself. Pricing of ammo isn't absurdly overpriced like some places, but you will be paying a bit of a premium over buying it on your own elsewhere. Bays are really nice- automated and climate controlled. I think they have 24 bays and those bays fill up quick. The range marshalls are top notch- I really appreciate this, given the situation. Safety is key and the marshalls are both friendly and attentive. I personally prefer outdoor ranges- they're less concussive and you can hear yourself think, but if the weather is bad and I opt for indoors, this is definitely a good option. read more

We went here over the weekend. I'd never shot at a range before, only shooting on a family member's acreage. Needless to say, I was nervous and somewhat intimidated. My nervousness was quickly alleviated. The gentlemen at the front desk were super friendly and helpful. The safety officers are great. They're ready to help and make sure guests are using safe shooting procedures, but they're extremely courteous and never interfere unnecessarily. I've heard stories about over zealous safety officers at other ranges, which I'm sure is nerve-wracking. The cost is incredibly affordable. You pay one fee and shoot all day. I've done plenty of research on area ranges and this is unheard of. Of course, with the cost of ammo right now, it's unlikely that you'll be able to spend hours and hours shooting. But it's good to know you don't have to watch the clock to be sure your hour isn't up. When you consider that two people can shoot in the same lane you can get some serious shooting time in. Tuesday is ladies day. Five bucks for the ladies ALL day and this includes gun rental. This is an excellent deal and like I've already stated, I can't find any other local range that does this. This was an awesome first time shooting experience. I'm excited to go back and will definitely do so. read more

The lady friend and kids were watching the monitors that were on in the lobby, as they were not partaking in the brass slinging festivities. They were also quietly sitting on four of this establishment's sacred chairs. A few wannabe operator idiots sporting their sweet ass tactical pants/shoes were taking a break from some class they were teaching. As one walked out of the class he felt it was appropriate to make this smart ass comment, "Oh well, there ain't no seats available, it must be family day." Eat shit dude. The first time ever to a shooting range and I loved it! I tried 5 different guns which cost us about $160 as those ammos were expensive but they were worth my 2 hours. Good for small group activities. Staffs were very attentive to our safety. The facility in farmers branch seems to be new and was clean. You may want to bring your own ear protection or buy one there. Free ear plugs did its job for me but not for my friend! People watching are fun too as some customers were showing off their skills. I went to Eagle yesterday with a friend of mine (retired Marine). I had never even held a gun before, so I was nervous, and apprehensive. My friend was great and explained how to use the sights on the gun, load it, hold it and ultimately, shoot it. Everyone at the range was very nice and very helpful. It doesn't get any better for an indoor range. State-of-the-art 25 yard range with helpful staff. ROs are attentive and helpful. Safety is enforced. Competitive price vs lesser ranges and veterans get a reduced rate. They offer classes, sales of firearms and ammo. You can rent guns if you use their ammo. There's a constant downrange breeze from the massive air handlers to keep your bay free of smoke. Attractive, well lit. Just wish I could shoot black powder here. read more
