I wanted to love this place. For the most part we had a good experience except for the mall cop in the lanes with us. The initial monitors were awesome and cool, but towards the end, this guy was just extra and wanted to prove himself. He wanted to embarrass my son and chastise him which he did so we eventually left. They strongly rely on the safety video you watch before you get there so make sure you memorize it. Otherwise you're gonna get in trouble. I'm all about safety, but they don't take the initiative once you get there - they kept referring to the video you watch before you get there. They really don't want to get involved with you and your experience from what I found. If you're very experienced with hanging out at the gun range, you're probably good. Do not look to these people for any enhancement to your experience. I just feel like they don't care if you have a good time or not. There were eight of us and we could've benefited from somebody who wanted to help and engage, but they simply don't do that here. read more

Have been coming to this range for last 8 times today was the worst customer service i have experienced. The guy who attended us initially had a poor attitude acted as if he was doing a favor talking to us. Then he said you have 1 hour 20 minutes wait then we asked him if we can grab food from across street since wait time is long. We come back in 20 mins i see lanes open and people who came after us and be let in just for the new guy to tell us sorry once you leave you don't have a spot. Which we totally clarified with the other guy before leaving bad customer service also the first guy who helped us had Team lead on his badge guessing he was the supervisor cannot recall his name. Use to love using this range but can't give my money to people who lack decent customer service skills. read more

Wow, this range is awesome! This range puts all the other ones in the area to shame. First off I've visited many ranges around the area in a particular they're only a couple that have a target system with motion. The only other one that I know that has the system is Texas legends but I believe they are over priced. Upon giving them a try I decided to go ahead and sign up for a membership. Their memberships are reasonably priced. The retail side of things is awesome as well both for archery and shooting. After about a couple months they started offering private lessons. I had the pleasure of being trained with the manager James. I have to say it's one of the best experiences I've ever had during training. Everything was explained, he was very thorough and did an excellent job with my fiancé. As a part of the membership it's pretty awesome they have member events with demos as well. Often they feed their members during these events. I do not come from gun culture but these people make you feel very comfortable and welcome. I'm sure I'm missing a whole bunch of great things about this place but I would highly suggest you come in for yourself. read more

This range is great! First time in today. My dad and I randomly decided to go buy some guns this AM and then decided we wanted to take our new babies to the range and get some proper instruction. We were able to book a lesson with Nick. Nick was very knowledgeable and the whole staff was very nice. Facility looked and felt great. If I still lived here, I would definitely become a member. These are some of the nicest and most knowledgeable folks around. I have been there several times to shoot and shop. The range safety offices are personable, which if you have shot at many ranges in the DFW is not normal. I have also purchased rifles and suppressors and their systems make it quick and easy. Did I mention if you purchase a suppressor there you can visit it any time and even shoot it while waiting on the ATF. read more

After almost 2 years i have to rewrite my review. I originally because a member because you are able to draw and shoot. An RSO reviews your draw for safety and if approved you are able to draw when you come in. I had my draw reviewed and was approved. I shot from a draw for almost 2 years. Today, I was told I had to look at my holster during a reholster. If you know anything about tactical shooting you know you never take you eyes off a potential thread area. When I talked to the CRSO he told me, thats the way it is. Because I am unwilling to develop bad habits I have cancelled my membership. I will find another range that understands tactical shooting. That fact that I was approved and have been shooting this way for almost 2 years doesnt matter to them. read more

First time was amazing. Really enjoyed renting the Glock and Ruger. However, by going there a second time, it felt uneasy. I had a feeling that the employees were trying to find doubt in my words, even though I told them I was a member. I was not given ear protection and the employees even handed me 9mm cartridges instead of the respective 380s for the Sig Sauer. Even the instructor asked me if I "shot here before" simply because I didn't place the target correctly. What does that mean? Not to mention, it felt like I had been overcharged this time, because I paid $60 for two handguns at first, but $53 for only one. I will not support a business that treats its customers like this. One guy even had a hard time looking for the Sig Sauer that I wanted to rent. Not sure if he was there to help me or to play around with his buddies. His instructor friend in the handgun range section also giggled when I received the right cartridges. Until you guys change your ways, I won't be coming back. Otherwise, good riddance. read more

This was my first time not only at a range but firing a gun. My husband set up a lesson for both of us. He had fired a gun before and I had absolutely no history with holding or firing a gun. Nick showed us safety handling, how to hold and grip before we went into the range. I would be remiss to say I was extremely nervous and somewhat uncomfortable. Nick was appreciative of my inexperience and made the experience positive. My husband went first and nailed the target every time. I did pretty good and much better than I would of expected. I am happy a range opened up closer to home, and this one is pretty nice like Texas G** Experience. The staff are very helpful especially Wade who is one of the g**smiths who is over the top when it comes to information and assistance, Nathan who can unjam about any weapon and Jeremy who loves to talk about advanced arms and rounds while also trying to be the nicest guy on the planet. They have fair prices on arms, and a good selection but the kn!fe section is tiny and higher priced than expected. They had a good price for membership so I joined and have gone a few times to sh00t. One time Nick was really skiddish but everyone starts somewhere, I just hope he gets some customer service training before he starts undesirable trends. The other members of the team are very professional and informative, I ended up getting a nice 1911 from them after tons of back-n-forth but they were always happy to bring something off the shelf to talk about it. They didn't have holst3rs available for the 5" 1911 which they have a dozen variations of, so that is strange... but overall it is a very cool place, and easy to get in/out on days where you are just trying to get some good practice in at the range on the way home from work. They also have some amazing amm0 deals sometimes. I did try to do an FFL transfer once but they were very unestablished in that realm and I couldn't get reciprocation from them in that regard but I didn't pursue it too much, I went to SK Arms in Flower Mound and did the FFL transfer there for $25. So there is room for improvement but good enough to earn my business for other things! New primary range for me! read more
