One of the owners is an Team USA Olympian and they support a lot of local High School's shooting programs. The grounds are professional and the clubhouse is well stocked with gear. I misplaced (now found) my certificate that Scott signed and asked for them to forward me the copy they had (they make you sign two copies and tell you to reach out if you ever need it). They were unable to locate my information. After several less than professional emails back and forth I was just done. I decided I'd post a review on Facebook to catch their attention that I really needed their help and now that they got my money they were not helping me. This is when their unprofessional attitude came out even more... They replied with snarky remark saying I didn't pass my shooting class and for public safety I would lose my gun like I did with my certificate. I was shocked and went on a mass hunt for my certificate and found it! I sent them a private message asking for an apology for lying and not just apologizing and helping me before I posted pictures proving they were lying. It became clear after about 15 more comments of "satisfied" groupon customers to cover up his prior comment that he would not be apologizing and I just needed to end the conversation. It is what it is, they are unhelpful and unprofessional but I feel I need to make others aware it's all good and gravy until your unhappy... Then they attack you and refuse to help! He has continued to delete his comments and rewrite different attacking comments! I recommend reading all reviews, I see others saying communication was very unprofessional and people were ignored too!

I have taken every class that this facility has offered and participated in almost all of their special events, including an extreme long range shoot where we took 50 BMG and 338 Lapua rifles out beyond 3,000 yards. This is a training facility that places a strong emphasis and learning basic shooting fundamentals to the point where they are reflexive. Furthermore, the curriculum is constantly evolving, which emphasizes the value of retaking specific courses for further learning. I couldn't imagine training anywhere else. As a bonus, the membership program offers discounts on training, some free special events, and even some opportunities for private land hunting. The bottom line is that training at this facility is not cheap, but you are getting a very high quality product. Training with firearms at VX Marksmanship is comparable to taking swim lessons with Michael Phelps or boxing lessons from Floyd Mayweather: You won't find a better experience anywhere else.

The owner of Tactical Krav Maga in Aubey claims to be Madrik Clay, but his real name is Larry Clay Lonis. He has used the following and other aliases: 1. Coach Clay 2. Tiger Clay 3. Clay Dux 4. LC Kravskie 5. Klay L'Honis 6. Klay L'Onis 7. Larry C. L'Onis 8. Larry L'Onis 9. Professor Moreh Yoneesh (2016, Amarillo, owned a Krav Maga school after leaving Grapevine) His story started in Lubbock a couple of decades ago when he operated a karate school and is said to have left town unexpectedly and with students' dues in tow. For some time in the 2010's, he was in Grapevine running his Monster X Camp, which later changed name to Reaction Fitness and Self-Defense, and where he offered Krav Maga, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and kickboxing. REACTION FITNESS & SELF-DEFENSE - CLOSED - 13 Photos - 445 E Nortwest Hwy, Grapevine, TX - Yelp In January of 2016 he started a 6-week weight loss and fitness challenge, where participants who lost 20 lbs. would be reimbursed their fee and roll into the next 6-week session free of charge. Problems started quite soon. There was little equipment, gym remodeling never got completed and worse, trainers wouldn't last long on the job. At the end of the first 6-week session, several participants qualified for fee reimbursement but never received it. He was evasive or accused them of not qualifying, writing all this on social media for all other participants to see. He also bad-mouthed the trainers. With the 2nd 6-week session, many more people signed up, but by then training sessions were cancelled quite often and there was a general sense of mistrust toward anything he said or promised. Trainers complained about not getting paid or having payroll checks bounce. At least one trainer complained of receiving veiled threats from Larry, as did participants. Sometime in February or March, participants reported to the gym to find a locked, empty building. Somewhere about this time I heard he worked as a bouncer and also as a motorcycle salesperson. I'm told his claim to holding a 5th degree black belt in Krav Maga is false. At his current business, an individual who was hired to teach Karate at the Aubrey school left after facing the usual problems and promises, and opened his own school in a nearby city. Recent members have complained of charges continuing to be made to their cards after they quit the gym. Some of the businesses he has owned: 1. Tiger Martial Arts, Lubbock 2.
