This is my second home. Jesse (I'm sorry if I spelled your name wrong) gave me my first memorable lesson, and it lasts in my shooting still. I'm also a gold member and that means being treated like gold. I walk in and they treat me like family. they have a decent rental selection for pistols, and it's only 25 bucks for a 5 dollar rental and about 20 bucks for a box of 9mm. they are very calm when you break a rule (I've only broken minor rules only, nothing major) and won't threaten to kick you out, but in a gentle way give you a warning and tell you what to correct. if you need a new range to call home then eagle is the place to go! also if you need a handgun lesson like I did, request Jesse, he did a great job and is the reason I shoot like I do. Hats off to Eagle gun range once again, I've been shooting here for over 8 years and had nothing but great experiences! The level of staff and safety is unique and unmatched compared to any other range in the metroplex. Eagle is on point 24/7 it dosent matter if the range is empty or full the their gun safety comes first and foremost, if a muzzle is slightly pointed backwards or a guns not cleared they will radio to the rso and fix it in an instant, it is unreal how coordinated and professional the staff is, and they're all friendly and great shooters if you need help or coaching too. We just went in yesterday to test an frt, and the gun smith Liam was awesome, he rented us an h2, and h3 buffer to test, and he even helped us decided between the h2 and h3 by watching the brass pattern from the security cameras and radioing to the rso, dude Liam knows his shit! First time here and all the gentlemen working there were knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. I shot a 22 which was my first time shooting a gun. Two of the workers were super helpful with showing me the ropes. My husband shot a 9mm. We were impressed with the selection of rentals they have. Eagle is great. Unfortunately, I have not been treated well at other ranges due to the simple fact that I am a woman which makes me feel uncomfortable and appear incompetent to others. Eagle's employees are top-notch and know their stuff when it comes to operating and selling weapons. I have no hesitation with coming in and practicing by myself. Safety is their biggest concern. Decided to try this gun range out after finding a Groupon for 2 package while on a road trip to Dallas. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable while helping us out as this was only our second time at a shooting range but first time firing a rifle. They made sure to demonstrate how to properly use a firearm and load the gun twice before we entered the range. Inside an older gentleman was also there to share some more knowledge and aid us if we still needed additional guidance. There was no time limit at the range and we had a great experience so we ended up buying more ammo to extend our time and switched out our first rifle for an AK which definitely had a kick. read more

Good place overall, its clean and well maintained. Prices for lanes are cheap for a place like this, nice selection of guns to choose from. Ammo is expensive as hell though, 50 9mm for $20. Go somewhere else and bring your own guns and ammo. Bring your own ear protection or pay for it out the butt too. I assume that's why their lane prices are so cheap. Their staff is great at the front but one of the range "masters" is a huge Fudd. Of course, listen to them for safety if you don't know what you're doing but if you know how to shoot, I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you want to be shouted at because you didn't lock the slide back. read more

Been a few times, they have been a great help when I had malfunctions on the range and doing some simple repairs. They even took time to help me get my red dots sighted in, that I was having difficulties with. I purchased a pistol from them on Black Friday and will be buying there again or transferring (if they don't have in stock). I have visited this range on multiple occasions as it is relatively close by to where I live. I usually do not leave reviews but I feel obligated to leave an actual review and not one driven my political opinion. Price: $20 for the day and $15 for extra shooters on the lane is not bad considering many indoor ranges in the area charge by the hour. Range officers: A point of contention for many a gun range. Eagle's Range officers are firm but fair for the most part. I have never had one be an asshole. Sometimes on the stricter side but I don't mind that for the sake of safety. An example is I have a PCC where the bolt doesn't lock back. I shoot all the rounds I loaded and take the magazine out make sure the gun is clear and set it back down at which point a RO asks me to lock the bolt back. I let him know it doesn't and he says I should wedge and ampy brass in there to keep it open. While I understand the safety issue it seemed a bit much and I had shot that gun before at this location and never had a problem. Range environment: Range itself is well ventilated and well lit. Comfortable temperature as well. I have had instances there where sometimes the electronics in the bay are not as responsive (like the buttons are broken or soemthing) but I have always said something and they always move me pretry promptly. Retail: Retail side is a bit lacking to me on the inventory side, but this is a range and not a store and so I give this part less weight. Having a great retail selection is a plus for a range but should not be a negative if they do not. My purpose is to shoot my firearms not necessarily shop. That being said the people behind the counter are pretty knowledgeable about firearms and give a fair overview of all brands no matter which they prefer. Overall for the actual review of the range you will be hard pressed to find a better range for the price, with a friendly staff, and comfortable actual range environment. I have been here in the past and will continue to come in the future. read more

I have been to a wide range of gun ranges, and so far Eagle Gun Range has been the best experience for an indoor gun range. We showed up on Sunday around 1:45 and it was already pretty busy, but as soon as we walked in we were greeted. Check in process was easy and fast. They have such a wide variety of guns that you are able to rent, and it is only $5 per gun. They also have a wide variety of targets. We loved the battleship one! The range masters were amazing. They were very helpful, professional, and fun to talk too. I appreciate all of them going above and beyond to make our experience a good one. The range is well maintained and I love the digital display of the shooting distance; they also have clips to hang your extra targets. Overall this range is great. Super friendly! Don't hesitate to come here for ladies day. $5 for the lane and free gun rentals with ammo purchase. The box of 50 9mm did cost $40 (it's $16 at Academy), but everyone knows there's a markup on ammo. Someone was kind enough to cover our lane fee as well. I found this range online and decided on this one over some others, and especially after a local friend recommended it too. It had been a while since I'd cleaned my own guns and wanted a refresher. I signed up for private instruction and was put with Kevin. He was great - very patient with me, answered all my questions (even when I asked them again), and he taught me how I learn best -- let me watch you do it first and talk me through it, then let me do it on my own. He checked with me first on that so we'd be as effective as possible. I really enjoyed my time here, and am definitely coming back to practice! read more

Eagle's owner came out against constitutional carry because he was afraid he would lose his lucrative LTC class revenue. At the age of 40, this would be my first day to fire a weapon/gun. Let me take a step back to say the recommendations from customers stated a knowledgeable, helpful, caring staff perspective. I was skeptical but, I was soon put to ease. From the moment I entered, to the time that I left their facility, I felt in complete control and at ease. I was greeted and coached by a lady that was a premier gun specialist as well as someone perfect for that first time shooter. Not only did she take the time to cover my basic stupid questions, she also made me feel comfortable coming into what gun I wanted to shoot, how I wanted to proceed, and what level training I had before. She took the time to take care of me not only before I entered the shooting gallery, but also every step I took during the calibration process. If you look at the pricing for an independent instructor to walk you through the same things, $100 dollars.
