I have taken every class that this facility has offered and participated in almost all of their special events, including an extreme long range shoot where we took 50 BMG and 338 Lapua rifles out beyond 3,000 yards. This is a training facility that places a strong emphasis and learning basic shooting fundamentals to the point where they are reflexive. Furthermore, the curriculum is constantly evolving, which emphasizes the value of retaking specific courses for further learning. I couldn't imagine training anywhere else. As a bonus, the membership program offers discounts on training, some free special events, and even some opportunities for private land hunting. The bottom line is that training at this facility is not cheap, but you are getting a very high quality product. Training with firearms at VX Marksmanship is comparable to taking swim lessons with Michael Phelps or boxing lessons from Floyd Mayweather: You won't find a better experience anywhere else.

The field itself is well taken care of and unlike other outdoor fields they actually take care of the grounds and your not running around in an overgrown field. There is a Pro Shop on site that has an assortment of things that you may need if you forgot something and everyone in the cabin and the Pro shop were very friendly and welcoming. We found Island Divers a couple years ago as my wife and I got scuba certified. It is a weird…read morethought to get certified in the Dallas area but they presented us multiple options. Certainly getting certified in Cozumel is an option with them but so is the Scuba Ranch in the Dallas area. I like to think if you can scuba in that lake you can scuba anywhere. The instructors were amazing and very accommodative to our needs. We opted to pay a little extra to do a a more private accelerated class. It did speed up the process and decreased the commutes out to the ranch. Fast forward to today and we continue diving. Their instruction and expectation setting has helped on many dives. Most recently I joined them on a liveaboard the MV Fling TX Caribbean out of Freeport TX. I have to say the diving conditions were amazing and who knew TX had such an amazing place to dive. It is a 6-8 hour boat ride out but totally worth it. Going with them also allowed me to expand my training and knowledge. There on the trip I did the nitrox and advanced diving. Once again the instruction was amazing and safety was always a priority. After doing 11 dives over 3 days I feel much more capable and ready for anything. Thanks to Gordon, Dick, Lance and Bob that are top notch. The shop is amazing and always full of suggestions.

However, when completing the sale, Brian changed the price of the sale to reflect an earlier total. He then sent a payment, reflecting an earlier price of the sale. When the cost discrepancy was mentioned, he refused to agree to his written assent to an emailed bill with the higher price, the last and final price mentioned in the negotiations. When a potential return of the weapon was discussed, he also ignored a prior written agreement to cover shipping costs if the sale did not occur. The seller Bridgeport Guns would not take on any further expenses to avoid losing money on the transaction. I would strongly recommend using a great deal of caution when dealing with Brian and Bridgeport Guns.
