I had a great experience here and was very satisfied overall. The whole process felt safe, professional, and well organized. Special thanks to my instructor, Chris Malone, who was very patient, clear, and professional. He explained the safety rules and steps in detail, and gave helpful guidance throughout the session. I felt comfortable and confident the entire time. Highly recommend this place, and I would definitely come back again.

We had a great experience at DFW Gun Range today. We were first assisted with explanation of what kind of services were available. Post that we were assisted by Chris Malone. He first gave us a full explanation to helps us understand how it works in a classroom and then was right there through out the whole experience and helped at all times. He was super fun to work with and encouraged me throughout. The facility was extremely clean. Had the best experience. The entire staff was extremely warm as well. It's a must visit. Worth all the money.

Grant was able to accommodate the short timeframe we had and did an exceptional job of planning hybrid training sessions covering the handgun, holster and rifle used by the law enforcement agency to which my grandson is applying. The session gave me a clear picture of where my strengths are and what I need to refine next. We worked through transitions, pacing, and confirmation levels in a way that pushed both speed and accountability, and the coaching was thoughtful without being overwhelming. I especially appreciated how adaptable the training was. I brought several different platforms and ran iron sights intentionally, and the instructor met me exactly where I was focusing on fundamentals, body mechanics, and efficiency instead of forcing a one-size-fits-all approach. If you want someone who blends technical knowledge with practical application and creates a professional, positive environment, I highly recommend training here with Grant. Great communication, great energy on the range, and I walked away with clear, actionable homework to keep improving.

I had been talking about getting my LTC for a while now but I honestly didn't know when and how to start. So seeing this opportunity I instantly bought My ticket and waited anxiously. A little nervous because I've only shot a gun once, one time and no proper training. I wanted to be able to use a gun and protect myself when I needed too. In January 2020 someone tried to break into my home. I knew I needed a gun and training. When the class arrived we were all greeted and made feel welcome. The information Trent gave to us was very valuable. I really liked the way he was very calm and confidence in everything he said. He answered all the questions we had. Made us laugh and never over complicated things. His team was also great and knowledgeable. Once we made it to the range to go shoot. I was a little nervous but..... i was ready to shoot. He taught us how to load and empty , how to shoot, stand and aim. I am so very greatful for this class. I highly recommend this gun service to anyone. It's black owned too so support. You will learn all of your basics and still be comfortable with a gun no matter how new you are

Then he helps you make your gun handling and shooting MUCH more smooth and effective. In my case, I signed up for a private lesson. As a woman, I was used to shooting rifles (had livestock and therefore problem predators occasionally), but not my handguns. When I bought a new handgun, I wanted to get training on handling and shooting it, quickly, effectively, and accurately. That's what I'm getting. And can't believe what I've learned already to prevent jamming, to increase speed while keeping accuracy, etc. And his rates? Very affordable. And great gun range out in the country: perfect place to learn. Sandy teaches all levels, from beginners to professionals, from personal protection to concealed carry. I know a good instructor when I see one. Very methodical, starts from where you are, helps you correct what you need to, allows you to repeat until you develop "second nature," and then advances you to the next step to meet your identified goals. And I'm an "old school" army brat, so I also know when the instructor knows his business in that area too for more advanced users. And, yes, I've signed up for more individual instruction.

I showed up about five minutes late and the young lady at the counter didn't miss a beat--super friendly and got me to the class right away. The ranges are set up beautifully. I'm retired military and have shot in thousands of ranges, and this one still stood out. Well-designed, well-maintained, and clearly run by people who take pride in the space. We had to submit our IDs and read the full T&C in order be eligible to get in the range. They didn't rent googles and ear muffs, but they sold them for decent price. Ear muffs were $15, and goggles were only $5. After the registration process, then we moved to the gun rental area where a staff member showed us different pistols and riffles. He was very knowledgeable about different types of guns and ammo. He also gave us a detailed brief on how to hold and reload the guns. After all the paperwork and crash courses, finally we went able to walk to the range. It was indoor and super loud due so nearby parties using big guns like shotgun and snipers. But overall it was easy to control the poster hanger and shoot from the window. We had an hour to use all the ammo. Once our time was up, we took the items back to rental area. We got our IDs back once the return was complete. Then we when to the registration counter to pay our dues. We were group of 5 friends and the kind staff member allowed all of us to split the bill and pay equal amount. It came to $45 per person for 2 guns (rental), 70 bullets and goggles. It was very reasonable price in my opinion. Overall a solid gun range but got some room to improve.
