I have a grandson who came for a visit from another state and wanted to get some firearms training…read morein preparation for applying for a law enforcement position. Grant was able to accommodate the short timeframe we had and did an exceptional job of planning hybrid training sessions covering the handgun, holster and rifle used by the law enforcement agency to which my grandson is applying. Best safety practices were emphasized along with plenty of humor to make the training enjoyable. If you don't mind the drive to near Waxahachie, your time will be well-rewarded with a true professional providing your training.

Excellent instruction and a genuinely valuable training experience…read more What stood out most was the instructor's deep understanding of movement, structure, and the "why" behind performance not just running drills. The session gave me a clear picture of where my strengths are and what I need to refine next. We worked through transitions, pacing, and confirmation levels in a way that pushed both speed and accountability, and the coaching was thoughtful without being overwhelming. I especially appreciated how adaptable the training was. I brought several different platforms and ran iron sights intentionally, and the instructor met me exactly where I was focusing on fundamentals, body mechanics, and efficiency instead of forcing a one-size-fits-all approach. If you want someone who blends technical knowledge with practical application and creates a professional, positive environment, I highly recommend training here with Grant. Great communication, great energy on the range, and I walked away with clear, actionable homework to keep improving.

Came here for the first time. I was here for work getting re-certified. It was a pretty nice range…read moreand it doesn't seem too busy around morning-mid afternoon of a weekday so you'll get some privacy. They have a whole gun shop with clean restrooms instead of portable potties that's been sitting in the sun. I love that it's an outdoor, but covered range. Please call ahead to ask questions about the range. I know they give discounts to military and law enforcement which is nice. It's approximately $17-$20 to rent a lane and it's all day. I was told that you can leave and then come back which is awesome. This would be the perfect place to unload a ton of rounds since you have time on your side. They have areas specifically for rifles, handguns, etc. The staff are very friendly. There is a lot parking available.

Went there a while back with a friend to shoot on their 100yd rifle range with my LEFT-HANDED bolt…read moreaction Savage 110 Tactical. RSO called a cease fire at one point so new shooters could hang their targets and said to open your bolts. I did. RSO yelled at me that my bolt wasn't open and I yelled back at him that it was, open your eyes. It's a left handed rifle. The look of shame creeped over his face. This wasn't the first rude RSO I saw here. They're know-it-alls and are on a power trip, acting like it's a military range and they're in charge. In fact, every time I went there I crossed paths with rude employees, not just RSOs. I'll never go back. I do not like to be talked down to, demeaned and insulted. But if that's your thing, feel free, you won't be disappointed. A little respect to your customers goes a long way and this place does NOT respect their customers.
