Got my ar-15 from here few years back. At a really good price. Bout $750 for smith n Wesson. Then was fortunate to get two boxes of 556 ammo. Love the range. It's all mechanic and you can bring the target to you. But they don't allow rapid fire. That's a downer. They'll get on ya about that. I been to ranges that does allow rapid fire. But has lots of things to choose from. Even will buy you piece from you. Wanna see if they can scope my ar so I can go hog hunting. read more

I tried to get a job there as a sales rep. Both times the lady interviewing me said they weren't busy enough, but the advertisement was on indeed for the extra help! Both times I applied, I saw no one working there over the age of 40! I am 55, with 15years of sales experience! Turns out, If you rent a shooting lane, you have to scan your DRIVERS LICENSE to shoot! I've been a member with range USA for like 5 years and it seems this particular location has a rule where you are required to have guns IN A CASE. which is completely fine. However when I walked in . my gun was admittedly not in a case how ever It had a bright red lock in the slide and I was holding it by the barrel pointed up As soon as I walked in I got yelled at violently " YOU NEED TO TURN AROUND AND WALK OUT NOW !!" At the time seemingly for no reason because I did not know of the rule that location had about requiring a case to enter meanwhile we are in an open cary state so why would I assume I need a case to begin with. I don't have an issue with the rule. I have an issue with the being yelled at like a criminal. When they could've politely said " sir my apologies but we don't allow you to be in without a case " Not sure why I would come here when I could go to one of the other many surrounding rages. read more

Terrible service and attitude from Jeff R when I took my brother to buy his first gun today. This is one of my go to spots to shoot but after today it's unlikely I'll continue to spend my money or time here. Jeff R was just standing at a register doing his best to look busy, mind you the store was relatively empty at the time. I approached him and kindly asked if he would be able to help us look at a gun my brother was looking to buy. He responded in the most annoyed way, I then explained to him that my brother while yes a first time gun buyer has spent time around firearms and has spent plenty of time at the range. He took a glance at him and said "you sure" (like??? No buddy I'm just saying that) after letting him hold and inspect the gun he then said "at this time I don't feel comfortable selling you the weapon" I asked him why that was but always understand that the salesmen has the right to deny the sale. He then told me "well u told me he is the one buying the gun but he hasn't asked me any questions" (Jeff R had at no point even bothered to acknowledge my brother or ask him any questions at all). I understand when it comes to sales of firearms the sales team is always trying to due the best job possible to keep the public safe. But it honestly felt like Jeff R just did not want to deal with us as customers. I want to thank Mrs. Camren and Mr. Hejny for taking my call later that day, inviting my brother back and treated him like a customer should be treated. My brother was able to make his purchase and even got a membership there and received a discount for being a first responder. I do hope Jeff R learned what it means to be in sales and what customer service should be like. But I will still take time in considering if I myself, will be returning as a customer. read more

Prices are fair with great deals on bulk ammo and combo weapon purchases. Seems like some people are sensitive and easily offended when on the range. While attending the Dallas NRA convention I was handed two cards for 1 hour free range time. A buddy and I headed over on a Friday to take them up on the offer and checkout the range. We were promptly informed that each of us would have to pay a BS $6 "range maintenance fee". I chuckled a bit and commented "how did I know it wouldn't actually be free". Nice first impression to be hit with a BS fee...right? Anyhow, we put a few rounds down range. The place is OK but I would never return and pay the actual fee per hour. If I recall correctly it would have been $40+ without the discount the card provided...for one hour. Afternoon 12/7 I went to shoot and during my second reload my bullets were getting jammed which is a problem I had before so I popped out two bullets and guy sweeping bullets came up behind me to tell me I had one in the chamber already when I turn my head to tell him what was going on he grabbed my hand telling me to remove my finger from trigger First of all my finger was on the side of the trigger and my arm was pointed toward the target. Very helpful instructors and staff. They are very patient with "newbies" and after a couple of visits, I decided to get an Elite membership and it is well worth it. As a "slightly amateur" gun owner, it was important to find a place with a great selection of firearms & accessories, good training classes, and helpful & professional staff. There have been a couple of issues or questions and I had to submit a "Help Ticket" online. To my surprise, I got responses & a resolution immediately each time. My daughter and I have taken a few classes there and were very satisfied with the instructors, in particular Michael Hejny. He was extremely patient and helpful when my 25 year old daughter took one of his classes. She had never owned or used a firearm before, but he put her completely at ease and made her feel confident. I wish I could remember every person's name who gives excellent customer service. In addition to the mgr, there is another Michael (former LEO?) there who helped me choose the right firearm to buy. He also gave me some excellent tips for shooting range accuracy. I definitely appreciate the sales & discounts they frequently have. Then there is Lady Sure Shots on the second Saturday of each month where ladies can come and practice, ask questions and get all the help we need free. Although any staff member working in the shooting range assists me if needed, the dedicated assistance during Lady Sure Shots is invaluable. read more

This is a really nice gun range and the people that work there are pretty helpful. But I've started going to another gun range because this facility all of a sudden got greedy, and raised rates (a lot) and discontinued any discount days during the week. The lane rentals are now all one price/all the time. Even their memberships are pricey. It doesn't matter how nice the range is if regular people can't afford to go use it. I'm retired and on a fixed income. And...There are other places to go practice my shooting skills in the area. read more

Wow! How can a place go down hill so fast. A year ago I was singing their praises and now, I can't find a nice thing to say. Had a special order that was delivered I November, it is now August, was never notified that it arrived. I asked countless times if it had arrived and finally contacted the manufacturer (custom items take some time so a delay was expected). The manufacturer notified me that it had been received on November 19, nine months ago! I contacted the manager and was told they didn't have it. Contacted their corporate office and magically it was discovered in the safe. This is just one bad experience, I have been cursed at here, yelled at, and was even threatened. There are plenty of options...PLENTY...take your business elsewhere. I would recommend any range besides this one. Not to mention their prices are on the high side and transfer fees are outrageous! I'm sure the manager will post a rebuttal belittling me as she often does on many platforms to other reviewers. That too speaks volumes about this establishment. read more

Awesome experience purchasing a firearm and ammo. Fast friendly service. The store lead, sorry can't remember is name, helped me out. Have been looking at the .380 S&W M&P EZ Performance Center model for a few weeks for my wife, but because ammo was scarce, didn't pull the trigger (pun intended, lol). Walked in yesterday, and they just got some ammo in so was able to grab 3-50 round boxes...so it was a no brainer! In and out within 20 minutes. Minus 1-star because the price for the piece was about $40 more then what I've seen at other stores, but the free range ticket helps lessen that gap along with the friendly service. If I don't find the 9MM version at the gun show this weekend, will certainly buy from them if they get some in! read more

This place might as well be run by ATF agents. They comply with proposed "rules" even before said "rules" are in effect and they don't post any notices of such policy changes anywhere on their website. I was even in the store the day my firearm arrived according to the tracking number but was told I could not pick it up because they hadn't "checked it in yet". The next day I received a call from the seller informing me that Range USA would not be transferring the firearm at all. However, why was that not mentioned to me while I was PHYSICALLY IN THE STORE!? And why wasn't that policy communicated to online sellers? Now, 5 days later they still haven't shipped the firearm back to the seller and I'm still out the money. Not only is this extremely poor customer service but it also clearly shows Range USA does not fully support our rights. I plan to make all future purchases elsewhere despite this location being very convenient for me. I urge all others to do likewise. read more

I've finally had it with this place. Avoid like the coronavirus. Staff is rude and dismissive. Every single time I go here I feel like they simply don't give a crap about their jobs and can't stand customers. We purchased a firearm from them a few weeks ago and when we went to fire it, it didn't work. Firing pin was defective. We were told it's not their problem, nothing they can do, etc. We were told to get in touch with the manufacturer, and it took an additional 3 weeks to get the gun repaired. The employee helping us literally said "this is some weird sh*t, what the f*ck?!" when they couldn't figure out what was wrong. Really?? How about, "we're awfully sorry, we'll get on the phone with S&W and help you get this sorted out ASAP." Fast forward to now. I am a premium member and made a reservation for 7:00pm because Google said they close at 8:00pm. Well, they gave Google the wrong info so when we showed up, even with a valid confirmation saying I had a reservation, they said there was nothing they could do. I asked if we could shoot it LITERALLY ONCE to see if the gun WE BOUGHT FROM THEM worked now, and they said no. Even it you've technically closed, what a headass response to someone you've already inconvenienced so much. Please do not give this garbage business a single penny of your hard earned cash. You're better off spending it on more ammo, or going to a decent range like Alpine Shooting Range. read more

Sense of urgency is zero with regards to orders coming in. They are more than happy to take your money but take several days to receive an order so that it's in their system and you can pick up what you ordered. They give you the FedEx or UPS tracking number but don't rely on that, they will get to the order when they want to, and until then they say that they don't have it until they have received it into their computer system. No Standard Operating Procedure apparently exists for a time frame that is acceptable. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THAT COMPANY/LOCATION. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS! BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE....NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! It was before Christmas 2019 when I visited this location, since it's near my job but 25 miles away from my house. My wife came all the way from home just to meet me there because we were planning to buy a gun. The gun wasn't available at this time so the salesman that was "taking care" of us, put my name and my phone number into their "waiting-for-ever list". I remember I was the 5th or the 6th person on that list. The salesman wasn't the most friendly person ever and somehow I knew that this is not going to work, even though, I was just waiting. Six months later, I call them back. I ask the lady on the phone, if they had available the gun I was planning to buy and she said yes. Then, I explained her how come and they never called me back. Of course, how is possible that she will knows the answer. After apologizing, she said that she will let her manager know about it; she took my name and my phone number. Four days later, still no call. As I mentioned it already, they don't care about their customers. AND THIS IS HOW A COMPANY IS LOOSING MONEY/CUSTOMERS! read more

They have plenty of help that was eager to help - and they had Charles as the Range Safety Officer today. What a Great, Knowledgeable, Helpful, Smart guy he is. I was having problems with my weapon and he was right there explaining the problem and making suggestions. He explained things in ways I could easily understand. He made my shooting experience today quite a pleasure. Thank You Charles !!!!
