I have been/am a Member here, as well as other ranges in central DFW, for a few years…read more This Range USA location is the best that I have experienced in central DFW. Jacob and his entire staff are very professional and welcoming to both Members and Guests. The RSOs here keep things very safe without being overbearing, which can be a tough task at a lot of ranges. But their clientele, like me, seem to be pretty normal courteous shooters, which is great too! I highly recommend Range USA - NRH! WJF in Bedford

Kaila and Mack were the best and very patient with us. They educated us on how to properly hold our first gun and had really good recommendations as to which guns we should try. Being from California, this experience was like no other and thrilling. I greatly recommend coming here if you're looking for fun and safe time shooting some guns!!! We will definitely be coming back next time we're in town and purchasing a membership!

I was very disappointed with my recent experience at Shoot Smart West Freeway…read more Since the range was remodeled, they have removed the flat shooting bench or countertop that used to be in each lane. That surface gave you a safe, convenient place to lay your firearm between loads while keeping it pointed downrange. The only surface available to us was a small Rubbermaid-style cart about three and a half feet tall. This made working with and sighting in long guns extremely awkward and nearly impossible. The range was also uncomfortably hot. An employee explained that the air conditioning was running on high, but the exhaust system that removes gun smoke and fumes also pulls the cooled air out almost as quickly as it enters. I understand the importance of proper ventilation, but the temperature made shooting very uncomfortable. The retail inventory was also ridiculously understocked. I was looking for tinted shooting glasses, magazines for several firearms, speed loaders, and a barrel-cooling fan so I could safely cool my rifle before returning it to its case. They had none of these items. When I asked about the lack of merchandise, an employee told me their inventory manager was not doing a very good job. On the positive side, all the employees were friendly and courteous. The gunsmith was especially helpful and was able to sight in the rifle I had been struggling with very quickly. Unfortunately, friendly employees and a capable gunsmith were not enough to overcome the poor range setup, excessive heat, and severely limited inventory. I will be trying a different shooting range the next time I go shooting.

Grant was able to accommodate the short timeframe we had and did an exceptional job of planning hybrid training sessions covering the handgun, holster and rifle used by the law enforcement agency to which my grandson is applying. Best safety practices were emphasized along with plenty of humor to make the training enjoyable. If you don't mind the drive to near Waxahachie, your time will be well-rewarded with a true professional providing your training.

Excellent instruction and a genuinely valuable training experience…read more What stood out most was the instructor's deep understanding of movement, structure, and the "why" behind performance not just running drills. The session gave me a clear picture of where my strengths are and what I need to refine next. We worked through transitions, pacing, and confirmation levels in a way that pushed both speed and accountability, and the coaching was thoughtful without being overwhelming. I especially appreciated how adaptable the training was. I brought several different platforms and ran iron sights intentionally, and the instructor met me exactly where I was focusing on fundamentals, body mechanics, and efficiency instead of forcing a one-size-fits-all approach. If you want someone who blends technical knowledge with practical application and creates a professional, positive environment, I highly recommend training here with Grant. Great communication, great energy on the range, and I walked away with clear, actionable homework to keep improving.

We went there for our Texas LTC certification and received it, but this center gave us so much more than just the course certification. I now understand the real personal/legal ramifications of being involved in an actual shooting incident, how to safely handle my weapon, alert law officers that I'm legally carrying, when and where to carry, and so much more. I very highly recommend this course to everyone-- even if you don't get an LTC. The trainers really are EPIC!! Epic Training and Tactical defense center is the place to go!

The product I received had reliability issues, and while mechanical problems can happen with any manufacturer, what really influenced my opinion was the customer service experience. I did not feel that my concerns were handled in a way that gave me confidence in the company or its commitment to standing behind its products. Because of this experience, I'll be looking at other manufacturers for future purchases. There are a lot of options on the market, and customer service is just as important to me as product quality. I hope Bear Creek Arsenal continues to improve its quality control and customer support, as I believe those changes would make a significant difference for future customers.
