Had some stuff painted a few months ago went super well, dropped off more stuff to be painted and it took 3x as long When I went to pickup I was kicked out of the store by the manager who was pissed I wasn't satisfied with the work I had to call the owner for him to let me back in and get my stuff. Made me pay whatever the total was even though the coatings were not good. Scuff mark on freshly slide can see bare metal Avoid this place like the plague. Id love a reply from the owner. I will legit take down all these 1 stars ive left on every site. I bring my 1911 in for a simple repair on the plunger tube. Quoted 2 days for the work to be completed. Two days later. Me in no rush. I called to check on the status of my firearm. The man on the phone first hangs up on me immediately. I call back and he gives me weird attitude saying why am i calling if its only been two days?! I reply that i was told it would take two days? I had a jammed shell that did not properly eject from my S&W M&P .22 Compact. Though I tried to clear it myself, I could not. I had been referred here by a friend so I thought I would give them a try. I walked in and was greeted immediately. Within minutes, Richard, came over and looked at my handgun, went to the shop in the back and returned with a cleared handgun. Richard also gave advise on how to clean it and maintain it. Very displeased with the shop in my last experience. Brought a bunch of weapons in to do some work and the owner was there and basically said I think we can take care of most of what you are asking for but you really need to come back and talk to the gunsmith. Returned a couple days later during the week when the gunsmith was supposed to be there and he wasn't. Another person behind the counter was inquiring what I wanted to do (slicking up four guns for cowboy action shooting) and was essentially trying to talk me out of it. Very degrading conversation, treating me as if I have no idea what I'm talking about and basically shooing me away. So, congratulations you've lost at least $1,000 in gunsmith work. Don't appreciate the treatment and will never return or recommend you to anyone else. read more

Would never use his service again. Brought in an inoperable .32 cal revolver that belonged to my grandfather. Explained to owner that gun did not have a good deal of value and I didn't want to put a lot of money into repairs, but as a memento I wanted it fixed. He stated he could not get parts, but a good cleaning would likely restore it. When I came in to pick up gun, besides supposedly having been cleaned, gun remained in same inoperable condition. I told the owner that since he accomplished nothing of value, the price he was charging should be adjusted. He refused. We argued about it for several minutes at which time I removed my credit card and threw it on his counter. It bounced up and deflected off his shirt. He became quite irate and told me to leave and come back another time. Even though I never physically threatened him, he threatened to call the police on me. Told me he would only accept cash for charge. I refused and told him I wasn't leaving without my gun and he had a valid credit card in his hand. He finally processed charge and I left with gun. The store owner is a money grubber who cares nothing about his work product, his customers or their satisfaction. Use his services at your own risk!! read more

Stripped a screw on my optic and thought I was a goner. Went to Richard and started telling him my sob story. Dude didn't even blink; just took my slide and marched to the back like a boss. 2 minutes later, he comes out, got the optic and slide safely separated, put the stripped screw in my hand, closed my jaw, and asked if I needed anything else. We had an unbelievably bad experience with this gun shop. After telling us to come get our guns, they refused to give them to us and called the Police to claim we were trespassing. Is this not crazy. The problem which caused the incident was over ATF laws that the owner said we should have known. My friend and I dropped off our guns together and were both at the counter and gave them our information. My friend, who is retired went to get them and was told they couldn't release them to him because he didn't drop them off. He explained he did and it made the owner very mad and he blamed us for not know the law. Why didn't he explain it to us so this wouldn't have happened? When I asked this, I was told I was stupid and many more fine words were used. When we got there, why didn't he quickly settle up and get us on our way instead of calling the Police and telling us he was going to charge us for trespassing. Needless to say, we didn't get charged and the Police made him give our guns back. What a crazy mess. I've never experienced such a bizarre treatment. I went in to get night sights installed on my USP. I had some trouble finding a place that had the proper tools for the job at all. The only other place I found that could do it told me it would cost $125, and take a week turn around. It took these guys about ten minutes. They were polite, professional, fast, and affordable. I went in to get some work done on my AR and am looking for a new gunsmith since B&S closed. I walked in with a surgical mask on because we are in the middle of a pandemic and I thought I was being lawful considering the recent mask mandate in Dallas county. Also considering the message from the CDC that recommends even vaccinated people wear masks indoors in public settings. Also considering they did not have a sign visible that said no masks. I walk in and the employee at the counter greeted my nonchalantly and I greeted him back respectfully. As I approached the counter he said no masks. I immediately took my mask off and gave him a funny look. To which he responded "it's not very smart to walk into a gun store with a mask on." To which I asked if he thought I was going to rob the place. To which he responded "he didn't know." I asked if he wanted to debate masks or if he wanted my business. To which he responded in a pushy and aggressive tone that yes he did want my business. I said no thanks and walked out. read more

Dropped off my AKMS last week, honestly with some neglect. Light rust on the barrel, haven't cleaned it at all in the 300 rounds that I've put through it. The gunsmith assured me that it would be night and day. Picked up my rifle today and the man is true to his word! Looks like a brand new gun! I am very pleased with how it looks and feels. Super friendly and Richard's work is great. My 1911 triggers are amazing now. One of them was having issues with the slide locking back on an empty magazine as well and he took care of it quickly as well. I am giving them two stars instead of one because they are a new company and perhaps on a learning curve. I took my 9mm in to get the sights painted. After discussing it with the owners, I decided to repaint the sights before replacing them, which would have been about $60 more. I chose fluorescent yellow as the color, as it was highly visible in a number of different lighting situations. When I picked the gun up, (about 5 days after I said I would because I was out of town), the sights were painted green, and one had a dark void in the middle that the application tool, (most likely a toothpick) left. The gentleman I worked with kinda shrugged his shoulders and said 'It went on yellow and dried green'..... (That maybe the case, but I doubt it. It was obviously the fluorescent green) Clearly, this was not satisfactory, yet he did nothing to alter the situation; instead of calling me to tell me, re-doing the sights or even offering to redo them, he charged me and suggested that I may want to a consider new sights. For a start up company, or any company, this kind of customer service is unsatisfactory. I am sure it took less than 15 minutes to paint the sights, with a 24 hr dry time. They also ultrasonically cleaned my gun... cost to paint the sights and clean...$60. I was told this was a discounted price, but they were running an ad, so it was their price at time of pickup. Very disappointed and will not return. If they plan on making it, they need to improve. read more
