Yelp came through again. We bought a house last summer with a very neglected pool and had other priorities with it (like new pumps, filters etc) so wasn't able to get the tile cleaned. I'm very very happy! There are a lot of businesses that claim they offer tile cleaning services. It's a lot of money to spend and I want to know if the prices are reasonable ... and if the service is good. When we bought our new home, I made some random calls to businesses I found online. I was out of the service area for several companies but two of them recommended Elite. Then the pool service company, who had worked for the previous owners, recommended Elite. And after that, a neighbor recommended Elite. Working with the office staff was easy. Friendly. Informative. Easy scheduling. Darren came to do the work. After setting up ... his dive suit. Goggles! Full helmet! Ready for work. It was fun to watch as he erased all the calcium buildup from the tile. It certainly isn't an easy task; it's not something I could have done and I think the price I paid is worth it. Darren and his partner were scheduled to be here at 3:00, he texted and said they were running EARLY so they arrived about 30 minutes EARLY. The work they did was exceptional, I have never seen our tile this clean...it's like new. At $5.00 a linear foot Elite Pool Tile's price was more than reasonable. At 80 linear feet plus a raised wall the total cost well below the other estimate I received. Just a note: an estimate from a different company was more than double Elite's. The other company measured 85 linear feet (trying to get 5 more feet from me?) and their estimate was a bit over $950 (you do the per foot math...$11.00).
