I recently cancelled my service with On Point Pools after 2 years of using them. Jon replaced my pump and upgraded my board, and after that, my pool lights no longer worked. My assistant notified Jon of the problem and it not was never fully addressed or fixed. I called him and left messages asking for a call back. I also texted him asking for a return phone call, I never heard from him. I consulted other pool companies for help and had it fixed. Jon's failure to fix this problem resulted in an invoice for $2,200, which he is responsible. He ignored his responsibility. This company has become increasingly unreliable. We used this company for 2 years hoping that the service would improve. Sadly it became increasingly unstable. Instead of fixing problems they caused, they became very defensive and made excuses. When the elderly, disabled homeowner sat at a table outside, technician did not want the homeowner to watch as he worked. Found it intimidating. My grandma has been struggling to find a good pool service to maintain her pool. At first on point was really good then things started happening. Her pool sweep needed fixing a basket went missing and needed replacing. The spa wasn't getting cleaned. They stopped coming every week which she pays a high rate every month for the service. Every time she calls she does NOT get a call back. I went out and spoke with the brother and that day the pool was immaculate but then we got an invoice and they way over charged her for a pool sweep vac bag that I found 2 for $15.99 and they charged $48 for one which they ruined by not emptying every week and not enough chemicals now there is an algae problem and me and my daughter can not swim on these hot days and they are still overcharging her. Do NOT recommend at all and wish they would make this right and wash the invoice or refund her some money we've never had an algae problem and quite frankly they are taking advantage of elderly . Now the new over priced bag is ruined with note algae we need help and these people are not doing the job they are over paid for...once I called them they called her right away and are trying to say they came and did not come out because I was here and the job was not complete the algae is worsening and saying my review is premature if it is the pool would be clean a new bag should be replaced for free and the $48 refunded read more

I've had to go through a few cleaning services even though I have a brand new build because the builders (Sac Pool's Pros) did such a terrible and incomplete build. They really left me with a lot to clean up in my yard, brand new $352 filters needing to be replaced within one month of going in from NOT know how to do a proper pool start up, basic pool draining not fully piped, spa Piped wrongly to pool and backwards program so that it drains instead of bubbles when turned on. Jon is awesome. We bought a new home and the pool had turned green. We had another company come out and quoted us $350 to clean up the pool but wouldn't do anything until we purchased new filters. He said he could come back the following week. We bought the filters the next day and called him back but then he said he couldn't come as he had originally said. We then called Jon (found on Yelp) and he was there the next day! Within 24 hours (and $125 less), our pool was so much cleaner (a few more days before completely clear). WE hired him on the spot for monthly service and have been more than happy since then.
