I used Flawless for three years. They were more or less fine, though several times they didn't put the pool filter lid on properly, or didn't show up at all but claimed they had (then why was the filter basket full?). Their service is fine, but their professionalism is where they fall apart--they don't have any. But the kicker came today, when Mike called me. Now, I've moved out of the house and turned the account over to my ex-wife. Within 30 seconds of my answering the phone, Mike said, and I quote, "I think she's batsh*t insane or something." I immediately told him to f*ck off and hung up--we may be divorced, but that level of misogynistic BS is inappropriate even if I didn't still call her a friend. And he should have never called me in the first place--he knew I'd moved out and have nothing to do with the house anymore. Further, he claimed to her that he had told me "many times" that the filters needed replacing because "you have to replace them every three years." I last replaced them in May of 2022. From May 2025 to November 2025 he never said anything about it. ETA: interesting that Dave is worried about my review but only addresses the least important part. Also notice his scare quotes, denoting insulting attitude. What about the fact your men didn't properly lock the filter lid on on several different service dates? What about your employee's incredibly unprofessional phone call? And for the record, I'm not saying you missed a lot of days, but suction pressure isn't filling a filter basket to the brim. Pull the other one. You have mostly good reviews. You can handle a few bad ones, and until you admit to your employee's unprofessional behavior, I'm leaving this here. read more

At one point I was told that a new technician would need "a full year of trial and error" to understand my pool's needs, which did not inspire confidence in their internal processes. I later confirmed that some of the claims about past communication were not accurate, which made the shifting explanations even more concerning. The most troubling incident happened after I canceled service: the owner contacted my ex‑husband (who has no involvement in my current household or pool service) to complain about me and used derogatory language. This was inappropriate, unprofessional, and crossed a clear boundary. Based on my experience, this company lacks reliable communication, consistent service, and professional conduct. Updated since David has finally responded to my texts and calls. This would be three and a half stars if I could do it. I am disappointed to say that the communication I've received from this company has not been great. While I appreciated the affordable rate for the pool service, I found out later they had not been vacuuming the entire month they had been servicing the pool ("because they weren't sure if it worked"). The owner says he never got the code to our gate that I gave him. Then the maintenance person didn't service the pool, did not call me when he could not get in a couple weeks ago. Pool turned green. Clearly the service person did not have my number and/or didn't have time to complete the service, and my pool turned green after not being serviced for a week. I asked them to fix the problem and they didn't respond for multiple days until I left this review which has since been updated based on what is written below, so I was left to assume they were giving up. I come to find out three days after the fact that they went by to add chemicals. In comparison I asked another pool company to go by and they immediately responded after going by the next as to what they noticed needed servicing with the equipment etc. This is an honest review with a situation that could be avoided with more clear and prompt communication. read more

David came out to Cameron Park, outside of his service area to perform a pool inspection for me. He was very personable and knowledgeable. He showed me how to clean the pool's sand filtration system and let me know you don't need to open the container unless you're cleaning the sand or replacing it every 5 years or so. My last pool service guy kept trying to upsale us for a new filter system and pump. Other pool services would be limited on what they could/would do. When Von came out and saw our pool, he knew exactly what to do to bring it back to life. One of the first things he did was clean the filter. I don't think our filter has been cleaned in years. Wow! Wow! Wow! I called David from Flawless Pool Services because he was recommended by my neighbor. My pool was having dirt problems and it just keeps building up in my pool. My pool guy good not clever it to clear up for the life of him. He came three days in one week. First he tells me it's stuff he added to the pool to get all the dirt off the walls, then he tells me our filters needed to be replaced and then he surprised me when he told me we needed a new pump for our pool. I told him I would like to get a pool inspection to really see why our pool is not getting cleaned. Then he proceeded to text me saying he's ending our service ‍ wow okay. Called David the next day to come check out our pool to see what's really happening. I was not home but my brother happened to be there. He told me David was in and out within 30 minutes and got my pool sparkling clean again. I was surprised to see my pool so clean when we got home from a day at the river. I asked David if he saw anything wrong with our pump or filter, he said filters are brand new and pump is working like it should. I don't know if some pool people get commission or up charge for parts but I was damn sure my old pool man was because he told me we needed to replace everything, well almost.
